hate hate hate how everyday actions and personal choices are seen as ‘tiktok political movements’ these days
#this isn’t a complaint against ‘those damn leftists who are choosing not to have kids because feminism’ or anything like that#this is about how everyone sees me as some kind of inherently political feminist take against the family unit when really im just existing#as an aromantic person#and yeah let’s have movements against misogyny in the family!!#but can we not use real people living their normal lives as ‘symbols of the revolution’?#same goes for those who use real people as representation#yes we need more queer voices in popular media but maybe sally from next door isn’t your token lesbian blorbo
