i have this headcanon that despite luz’s best efforts, vee never really gets into azura. shes just not a fan of it. and usually luz would be chill abt it cus obv not everyone likes convoluted magic fantasy stories like azura— but vee DOES find a magic fantasy book series she absolutely loves, but its one that luz absolutely HATES.

and like, luz hates the ONE book series that vee loves so much that they get into the most heated arguments & debates like

luz: they had NO CHEMISTRY together for the entire series and then suddenly in the last book they get MARRIED? im all for gushy romance, but who needs THAT MANY pages just to describe the WEDDING CAKE! its so STUPID!

vee: you just dont understand! they have OBVIOUSLY loved each other since the beginning! dont you remember how he cried for her in the volcano??? and the wedding cake needed those descriptions because each tier was symbolizing each step of their relationship and what they WENT THROUGH TOGETHER!!! it makes perfect sense for lisa’s character arc!!!!

luz: well then maybe YOU just dont understand her character arc!

vee: YOU TAKE THAT BACK—

and this is always like, one of the very few moments when camila has to intervene between them. once you set those two off they will NOT stop arguing over which book series is better. theyre both insanely stubborn about their chosen fantasy series and it drives their mom up the wall whenever a cold war breaks out between them again
