This scene always makes me giggle a bit cause wtf do you mean you heard tiny tapping noises and your first thought was “must be optimus”. Does optimus often make strange noises like that?? Does optimus make tapping noises at you ratchet?

Ten years. To most Cybertronians, it’s an infinitesimal amount of time. But to Ratchet, ten years was spent grieving, barely recharging, throwing himself into his work to keep from thinking too hard about the mech he lost. Ten years was spent without his leader, best friend, and conjunx. Ten years was spent without Optimus Prime.

i rewrote the optiratch reunion in RiD15 because it uh. it was nothing! it was really fuckin nothing! and i just so happened to finish it in time for valentine's!!! i waited an entire week to post it and my mental fortitude is unlike anything ever seen by god or man so you better be proud of me (silly)

The right sketch is drawn in a more simplified style, and shows a full body shot of human Ratchet running. His braid and coat flies out behind him, and he looks a little more anxious. He has a medical bag slung over his right shoulder, and it too bears the Star of David.

The bottom image is a chest-up sketch of a human Optimus Prime and Ratchet. They are leaning against each other, asleep, Optimus on Ratchet’s right. Optimus is a black man and has curly, close-cropped dark hair, shaved on the sides, and is about a head taller than Ratchet. Optimus wears a tight turtleneck under a v-necked shirt, and looks relaxed. Ratchet is not wearing his coat, and while he looks more relaxed his eyebrows are still furrowed.
