I love Victor he's so fucked up. And the story is sooo compelling. I adore the choices Mary Shelley made in the book. Like how the creature's birth isn't written as the spectacle we see in media. It reflects how Victor doesn't see it as something grand or fantastic. It's mundane to him. He was desensitized from his months of self neglect and obsessive studies. It also reflects his regrets and hatred for that moment to where he barely wants to describe how it came to be. He doesn't want to recount it not anyone replicate it.
