Found-Family headcanons for a³'s coven of chaos, part 4: (because they all deserved more time with each other)

Everyone loves to give Señor Scratchy treats, even when Agatha insists they shouldn't.

Señor Scratchy especially loves Billy, Lilia and Sharon. He does likes to cuddle everyone, though. Except Jen, who he's always trying to bite, (???) because he wouldn't be Agatha's familiar if he didn't.

One day Jen jokes that she will turn him into a purse if he rages against her again—and everyone defensively yells at her at the same time. “Okay! Okay! Jeez! I was joking!”

Sharon cuts fruit for everyone every time they hang out together and forces them to eat it before doing anything else.

Jen usually pays for everything. It's the price of her constantly bragging about her, “real job.”

Agatha always teases her about it. One time, Lilia felt bad—and so she “went to the bathroom” and payed for everyone herself.

Billy himself got his first bad alcohol experience at age seventeen at his first big teen party, which Eddie took him to.

He got very fucking wasted very quickly because turns out he's not great at holding his alcohol. So—he begged Eddie not to call his parents, because, “they've bEeN through enOUGH I'M A HORRIBLE SON AND NOT EVEN reALLY THeirS--”

So, Eddie sighed and called Agatha to get him instead. And yes, your girl did drive ALL the way to Eastview—and spent the whole night sleepless, sobering him up to save him from the hungover. She was just glaring at Rio all night long, telling her to go make coffee and no funny business, while holding his head over the toilet. She was surprisingly gentle and comforting during the experience—because she does have her moments—like when Lilia had her traumatic hallucination in Jen's trial and Agatha gently went, “okay” instead of mocking her. That's the vibe.

BUT he still got the scolding of his life the next day. The whole neighbourhood heard Agatha yelling.

During the argument Agatha yelled that, “I'm not your mother!” and he shot back, “I know that, do YOU know that??” Which caused her to avoid him for a few days.

Later, Rio told him how much it actually affected her and why—and Billy felt really bad about it. On mother's day, he gave Agatha a gift basket of stuff he made himself, (with his bio-mom's help.) Agatha said it was tacky and unnecessary—but she actually teared up a bit. She opened the window and yelled at Wanda's abandoned lot to make an insensitive joke about how, “suck it, Wanda, you rank last in the mom list—” as to not show too much vulnerability. But Billy is used to her by now—and he knows that she appreciated it.

Alice always feels sad on mother's day. She visits her mother's grave site and tells her how bad her life is. This year, Billy went with her. And for the first time, Alice only had good things to tell her. About how she broke the curse—and she can finally do something with her life now. About how she got a new job, and a coven.

Also, to cope, Alice got a gift for Lilia and one for Sharon. They may not be her actual mothers—but she appreciates them both endlessly and their support means the world to her. She got them both protective crystals.

You know who ELSE got Sharon a gift??

Well, Sharon doesn't either. She just received an anonymous bouquet of Azaleas and she had no idea who sent it to her.

It was Agatha, but she'd die before admitting it. She's the last person you'd suspect, since she still calls her Mrs. Hart despite how triggering it is, or pretends she doesn't remember her existence at all. In reality, she's grown fond of the Westview residents despite her best efforts not to. She doesn't particularly respect them and she does view them as “lesser,” but she doesn't wish them harm. They did take care of her for three years—and the Agnes role does have bits and pieces of Agatha in it.

Billy finds out through Rio and accidentally tells Alice. Alice tells Jen, Jen tells Lilia, (because she's not about to hide Agatha's embarrassing secret.) and Lilia tells Sharon.

Sharon is surprised but also extremely moved, considering she doesn't have any living family. She wants to thank Agatha, so she gets the idea to throw her a surprise party. (Since she herself hasn't been to a party since Mr. Davis passed away and she really wants to attend one!!)

She gets help from the coven but also invites all the main Westview residents that we know and love. Rio proposes the idea of writing, 'Agnes of Westview' on the cake, to get back at Agatha for always calling them by their Wanda-branded names. Sharon doesn't want to, but everyone else finds it hilarious, so they do it.

Agatha pretends to be extremely annoyed.

She isn't. She just never expected this to happen to her. For people to want to be there—and to see her as someone at least capable of good���someone who deserves a second chance.

They eat and drink together, having a blast. Billy isn't allowed to drink, but Agatha sneaks him a glass. Just ONE glass. You know, to teach him responsibility, as if she's the queen of it. “It's about knowing when to stop, teen.” “oh is it? tell us more”

Sharon is the opposite of a light-weight. She chugs down those shots like they're nothing—and if you ask her, she'll dismissively wave and say she's “lived a life.” Still, she doesn't seem to know her limits, and she gets carried away. At least she prepared some bomb ass charcuterie for everyone!!

Jen is a classy drinker, picky with her alcohol. She knows her limits and always drinks just enough to “make the company tolerable,” since, “no sane person could ever find you idiots amusing without a few shots.”

Lilia becomes incredibly talkative when she drinks and she loses whatever filter she may have otherwise had. Not to say that usually she has too much of a filter, but drunk, she literally becomes Patti Lupone. Jen finds it endearing and listens intently, Alice finds it sort of amusing but also a bit shocking, Rio matches her freak and Agatha just finds it fucking terrifying.

You'd expect Rio to be wilding, but she already does that sober. No, instead, she becomes very clingy and very affectionate—just whipped over Agatha. And she's kind of a light-weight too, which surprises everyone at first. It's because her real form is literally skeletal and her human form is probably maintained magically—so there's less actual real body mass to dilute the alcohol. So, death can tear through the fabric of reality, but metabolising alcohol is just too difficult.

Alice can hold her alcohol very well. She was once the definition of a teenage dirtbag, so she has experience in the field. Now she's pretty sensible. She's also the most clear-headed, even when she's drunk enough to stumble around.

Agatha herself is a slow drinker because she wants to make fun of everyone else for being less sober than her. She's developed a fair bit of tolerance over the years, but when it finally hits it really hits.

During a particularly rough case of drunkenness her and Jen sung karaoke together. Not during Agatha's party, though. Neither of them can quite recall the incident, or so they claim. Unfortunately for them, Alice recorded the whole thing. Rio made it her ringtone, as did Lilia.

Jen forces Lilia to get a skin-care routine. “Doll, I actively choose to look like this because I don't have the time or energy to maintain a youthful appearance. What makes you think I'll spend money on these products that capitaliSe in womeN's InsEcuriTiEs—I'm a divination fraud, you're a beauty guru fraud, we're both senior citizens, I don't care for this—”

And Jen is like, “okay ouch but nO this is nOt what I've been selling. This is new. We're not talking about just a luxury—the skin is the largest organ of the body and is exposed to various environmental stressors like pollution, UV rays, and temperature changes, as well as internal factors like stress and diet. I'm giFting these products to you I mAde them in a cAuLdron.”

Lilia is so flabbergasted by the clarity of Jen's explanation that she agrees. However, she constantly forgets to actually apply it.

Fortunately, Jen never forgets. And Lilia is probably the only person that Jen tolerates to constantly give reminders to.

lilia cast the sigil to protect billy from any external threats, and to give him the time to adjust to the shock of a new body and new life. again, lilia knew this was the son of the scarlet witch, someone that on paper terrified her. but when she actually met billy, she didn't see danger. she saw a young member of her own community in an impossible situation, and she stepped in. you know if she had met agatha as a teenager in salem she would have done the same thing.

pay attention now. lilia needs to find out what was her past/future self's mistake while reading for billy.

something interesting happens: while looking for answers, she jumps in rapid succession to episode 5 and episode 2. stop, stop, stop, stop, she repeats, like she is trying, for the first time, to direct her jumping. before, she was just a passenger. she's starting to become the Traveler

and where does she land? back to her maestra, where she can find answers to her current problem. she brought herself there, and only half accidentally.

and there's the crucial question.

it's sure not going well now. despite the little step forward with jen, lilia still feels the odd person out, the one that's just too different to fit in. I know many of us, especially on this site, especially with our various but similar issues, have felt like that.

lilia's words are angry, resentful. but she's not angry, she's afraid. she's lashing out because looking in is too much. but like lilia herself said to alice: sad is better than angry.

when an actor gets that single tear forming in their eye... that's the good shit.

Lilia placed the card in the middle, at the space of the Traveler; the card representing her in this passage. "Impathetic, intuitive, inner voice to be trusted."

"Yes, you're a mensch, Lilia" Agatha commented, observing the sword filled ceiling that was still coming down; alas at a slower pace than before but it did not seem it would stop anytime soon. "

But let's say we place a card."

"No sword." You commented next, realizing that at least nothing was flying towards you; which never expected to count it as a relief in your prolonged life.

"If she got the card right, why doesn't the ceiling stop?" Jen questioned, her worry growing the closer the ceiling was coming down; the closer those swords were to her and the rest of you.

Lilia pulled the next card. "Three of Pentacles. Collaboration, Community, I needed you... my coven, " Immediately, she got a flash of the list she wrote for Agatha.

The names she had listed as the coven members Agatha needed.

Alice Wu...

A black heart...

And no other name...

As she focused on the present, she came to realize that your name was never on the list. Before she could question it, before she could try to figure it out; her hand went for the next card.

"The Path Behind... The Knight of Wands. Full of fire. Fights bravely." She announced loudly as she placed the card down, getting momentarily flash of Alice's sacrifice in saving Agatha from the vengeful spirit of her evil mother.

Billy, the taller of the group and also the one with those huge black horns on his head; was the first who had to bend and try to avoid his impalement.

"We're running out of time." He exclaimed.

Lilia pulled the next card. "The Path Ahead...High Priestess. Immense spiritual power, unable or unwilling to use it." As she placed the card at its respective place on the spread, she got flames of her first meeting with Jen; the background of a banner the same as her card.

"Don't stop, Lilia!" Jen, the main subject of this momentarily memory, encouraged the older witch; with whom she had surprisingly bonded during their little time in the tunnels.

"Obstacles..." Lilia pulled the next card, but as she did, an extra card left the deck and slowly levitated towards the floor. She noticed, but her mind quickly focused on the card in her hands. "Three of Swords. Heartbreak, sorrow, grief." She remembered the moment Teen almost died; a devastated Agatha holding his head; three branches behind her crossing her the same way they crossed the card.

"Agatha!" You called and pulled her lower, forcing her to bend since, for a moment, had forgotten she had thay ridiculous pointy hat on top of her head.

Lilia heard the cries of worry but remained focused, close in finishing the spread. "The Windfall...Tower reversed. Disaster, destruction, sudden upheaval, but reversed, it means miraculous transformation." A quick flash of the Barmichva of Willliam and the shot of the tower reversed in her glass sphere. And with shaky hands, she pulled the last card. "And finally, the Destination..."

The sight of the card, so familiar and yet so haunting, made her gasp. She remembered the tunnels, the Ouija Board spelling a certain word... she remembered the summoning, she remembered the day she found her own maestro's body... and the figure standing behind it.

And she remembered the ways a certain Green Witch looked at you... the familiarity that seemed to exist... and the polarity represented.

"....death..." Lilia exclaimed and managed to place the card down, stopping the sword inches from harming her and her coven.

With the spread done, the ceiling started to go up again, and you could not help but chuckle faintly in relief; your hand holding Agatha's tightly for a moment longer.

"Lilia, you did it. You saved us." Jen exclaimed, almost feeling the need to hide the coocky old witch with troublesome powers.

However, it was you who had noticed that look on her face; one of shock and slight fear.

"What happened?" You asked, feeling she saw something that startled her enough and most likely concerned all of you as a group.

"Rio... she's Death." Lilia explained, still trying to process everything.

"She's what?" Jen questioned, ensuring she had heard right the first time.

"The original Green Witch."

You pressed your lips to form a thin line as the cat got out of the bag. Though in your and Rio's defence, no one ever denied that Rio was not death.

Simply, no one asked or made the connection; utill now that was.

"Is it true?" Billy asked next as everyone looked at Agatha.

"What can I say? I like the bad boys." She answered them without a moment of hesitation or shame, clearly not minding that she was romantically evolved with the Grimm Reaper.

At her words, you could not help but clear your throat and even pull your hand away from hers; clearly not liking her answer.

It was your turn to feel jealous, and you did not hide it from her or anyone. You had been very patient and understanding, but you were not going to stand around and be insulted like that.

You were before Rio. You were before anyone else...

Agatha frowned at your move, clearly not liking your response. However, she saw the way you crossed your arms halfway, fingers too close and pointing at your shoulder. She saw the look you were giving her; she could not help but roll her eyes at the unnecessary drama.

Honestly, you and Rio had that so much in common. It was becoming both tiresome and slightly worrisome.

"Fine, fine," she exclaimed. "I ike the bad boys and white witches with questionable parenthood backgrounds"

You parted our lips at her answer, clearly not approving of how openly she called you out. It definitely did not help as you could feel Jen's intense gaze on you, holding more suspicion than ever before.

Was this woman ever going to at least stop suspecting you would murder her in her sleep?

Before the topic could be changed to you and what Agatha said; Billy noticed something on the floor close to the table.

"Hey, Lilia; you missed a card," he pointed out and picked it up.

Lilia was reminded how that card was pulled along with the Three of Swords but had fallen to the side. Usually, in tarot, a card falling during shuffling was chosen, but during a spread... it depended.

She took the card from him and slowly lifted it up to her gaze, obscuring you from her vision from it.

"Two of swords..." Lilia recognised the upright card. "Stalemate, divided loyalty, caught in the middle... balance, equally matched..." she lowered the card slowly.

Exactly parallel to the figurine, you stood, and that act seemed to trigger one last memory flash to divination witch.

She remembered the meeting at Agatha's House, how you had your hands folded in a similar way as the crescent moon of a tapestry was in your background.

And here you stood now, in the exact same position. Your hands crossed, your clothes purely white, and that fancy headpiece threatening to fall forward and cover your eyes.

Lilia blinked as she recalled your name not existing on the list and your peculiar connection to both Rio and Agatha.

"Does this mean something? Flying off?" Billy asked.

Lilia kept staring at you in a way that made you feel as if she was looking through you; unfolding all of your locked secrets.

"It's a card that does and does not belong in the spread," she explained, finally adverting her gaze towards the boy. "It does and does not belong in the Obstacles, an unstable presence that can or can not affect the passage of the traveller"

"Helpful," Jen commented.

Suddenly, the grimm and spooky talk was interested by the familiar hissing sound that only Salem Seven could produce.

"We have to go, now!" You exclaimed, earning nods and huma from the others.

"Into the Iron Maiden, quickly!" Lilia instructed, only now making you realize that there were steps and a secret passage behind the now open iron Maiden.

One by one, Lilia ensured her coven went through.

First, if was Billy, and she gave him his little spellbook; which she had found in the tunnels.

Then it was Agatha, who seemed to understand why Lilia was waiting for them to enter. Yet despite everything, Lilia had one last piece of advice left; one that confused Agatha at that moment but would soon be the one thing saving her life.

You were third, Jen even pushing you to go ahead of her; something that surprised you. Jen had always been the first to leave, putting herself first and above all the others.

As you were about to enter, Lilia grabbed your hand; fingers wrapping tightly around the wrist with the moon brithmark.

"Stop holding back." she looked you dead in the eyes. "Face your fear."

Last was Jen, who got some wise words from Lilia as well; making her feel hopeful that her ending in this road would be better than her past the last 100 years.

Just like that, just like the Good Witch in the Wizard of Oz; Lilia played her part.

She gave the scarecrow the brains. She gave Dorothy advice to help finish. To the Lion, she reminded it of the bravery it always looked for... and for the tinman; she restored the missing heart.

A soft smile played on her lips, hands holding the two doors of the Iron Maiden. She looked at her coven, eyes getting misty with tears. "I loved being a witch."

And with those words, she closed the doors and locked them; leaving herself into the room, ready to face the Salem Seven and end them.

Ready to truly save her coven this time. Even at the cost of her own life. She was ready.

Sacrifice

Many wonders how the renowned Maellus Draconia could love such a simple human. Many faes and humans would frown upon seeing them together.

"I know love is a wonderful thing," Lilia stated. "But do not forget your responsibilities, Malleus. Inside this campus, I'll permit it. But don't throw away your people's future. You almost did, once."

The prince was fighting the urge to throw a tantrum. He went through so much lecture and punishment from his overblot he wouldn't dare to cross Lilia again.

"No perhaps, no buts," Lilia added. "You already know that."

He sighed. "I understand."

"Understand what, Tsunotarou?" Y/N question.

Malleus blinked once. Then twice. Ah, yes. How could he zone out when he's having his nightly walk with the prefect?

"Are you alright?" Y/N asked again.

"Yes," he replied, pulling her hands to give a soft kiss. "Just a bit... tired from today."

"Yeah, Lilia is a bit hard on you lately," she replied. "But considering what you did, you kinda deserve it, crazy Tsunotarou."

This earned a chuckle from the prince. "You call others foolish, yet you are the one calling me such a name?" Y/N smiled. "If Sebek were to hear that, I would not save you."

"Oh," the prefect faked a hurt expression. "You would not save me? Even though I traveled through endless dreams to reach you?" She faked a sniffle. "My heart..."

"Have you been loitering around Octavinelle lately?" Malleus joked. "Even so, I kid. Holding off Sebek's stern lecture is not the only thing I'd do for you."

"I know," she smiled. "I think we've all seen how much everyone is dear to you. I may not known you all my life, but I would treasure you for the rest of it."

Malleus felt the familiar raising of his heart once again. Holding her hand slightly tighter, he planted a kiss on her finger. "Would asking you again might change your mind?"

Silence fell on the two people.

"Even if it did..." she trailed off. The prefect was staring at Malleus' eyes. Despite everything, he's still hopeful. Both knew that he would stop at nothing for her. "We can't," she ended.

"Just say it, and I'll do anything for you, my love," he whispered. What happened to the child of man that he always used to call her? Y/N thought.

She was not royalty. She has no magic. No matter how much she tries, she'll never live up to the basic requirements of being Malleus' wife. Yes, she wouldn't...

"Would you sacrifice the throne for me?" Y/N whispered. Her eyes widened moments after. "I--no, I didn't mean that--"

"Even if my kind would detest me for it, I would give up everything for you."

If you don’t mind, which yandere twst boys do you see being most likely to exploit a mentally exhausted prefect to kidnap them?

To clarify, I think it can be argued that the prefect would be absolutely done with NRC after six life-or-death situations due to the overblots on top of being forced to adapt to education system of another world and putting up with the quality of students at NRC. You can’t tell me that a school full of villains would treat the only magicless student well. That just screams prime opportunity to manipulate the prefect into leaving NRC to go somewhere “safer” with one of the boys.

Once again, I’m just curious about your thoughts so don’t feel pressured to respond!

yes, riddle was the first overblot (technically) and after his overblot, he felt awful about how he behaved. he was supposed to look after Heartslaybu but he ended up becoming his mother. he hated himself for that.

So now, not only is he taking better care of his dorm, with the help of his dorm. but whenever he sees you, he tries his best to check up on you.

How are you? Do you need help with any school assignments? etc.

they all had sweet intents at first but over time, you started to look drain.. like the life was sucked right out of you. when he asked ace and deuce, they confirmed that you were just tired of all the overblots and being crowley's lap dog. if only he knew how to help you...

at first he asked, trey and cater about how he should help you. they were mature enough to know, right?

cater, being cater, teased him on "having a crush on the perfect" or how he phrased it "oooohhh you are down bad!! lol" whatever that means...

Trey said that maybe ask the perfect if they do need help. but Riddle knows the perfect, they'll say they're fine even when they're not..

so later that day, he requested you to join him in his room, he need to talk to you. you agreed cause why would you be cautious with someone you trust, plus you were too tired to worry about how strange the request was. he gave you tea and asked if you were okay.. you said yes, just stressed with some classes and drank you tea. it tasted... off.

you looked at riddle and he was just smiling at you! he picked you up and placed you into a tea pot.

Whether you noticed him or not, Leona watches you run back and forth, from hallway to hallway. Kinda like a mouse running around for food but also staying hidden. Sometimes your running around helps him sleep or just ease him to a zen.

He'd normally wouldn't bat an eye because you're just a lap dog for that crow. But after time has past. He watched as you get slower, more exhausted. like you're pushing to prove something. It ercked him more than he would like. It hit too close to home for him.

When he finally was able to approach you on the matter, you looked like your soul was taken from you. Something within just snapped. He had enough of this. He made the call and suddenly, savanaclaw students came to your side and dragged you to leona's room. If you try to resist, Leona lucky told them to not hurt you too badly. But accidents happens. With their rough handling, you blacked out.

You wake up with a pretty collar around your neck and a chain attach to it? You look around and this is not your ramshackle room. You tried to sit up for a better look and get quick pulled down by the chain collar. It nearly broke your neck! But Leona would say you're being dramatic.

"Quick moving, im trying to sleep.."

You looked and saw Leona. He was laying on your chest and his legs were holding your legs down. He was like a strange weighted blanket. He wasn't in his school uniform but looks like he's in home attire?

"Where are we, leona..?"

You said, scared cause your literally in the hands of a lion that could kill you really quick..

He ears twitched and he looked up at you, bored. But he let out a smirk.

"Were home~"

It took you a minute to process what he said... home? Apparently your confused was evident on your face and leona let out a long sigh. He moved or above you, pining you down.

"Were at Sunset Savanna palace and WE are both gonna be staying here until I can trust you'll be a good obedient herbivore and stay by my side."

You were lost for words and unconsciously started to struggle under leona. Trying to push him off, kicking your legs, he got really annoyed when you accidentally pinched his tail with the bed and your foot.

His retaliation was to slam you down, knocking the wind out of your lungs. As you were gasping for air, he bit you really hard on your throat. You let out a silent scream. You thought you were going to die. This was your last moment of life.

Leona eventually let's go but quickly replacing his fangs with his hand.

"You WILL be obedient... do I make myself clear.."

That wasn't a question.. it was a demand.

Jamil hardly noticed you.. PERIOD.

He's busy not only taking care of scarabia but also their housewarden. While his housewarden takes the credit.. he hated it. And the fact his housewarden is so happy go lucky to him too. Makes his blood boil!!

Jamil truly believed that no one would feel his pain, his struggles.. because everyone sees Kalim "success" before anything!

You and Jamil were in the housewarden meeting, well on the outside of the office during the meeting. Jamil had to be there because Kalim and you were there for Crowley...

You both had a quick moment until you asked him hows he been? He lends his head back against the wall and sighs. You laugh at his actions.

"I get that, hehe"

His eye twitched.

"Do you now..?"

"Heh.. I really do. I'm here for Crowley, even tho he's the Headmage. He's like a spoiled brat with responsibility... and HE knowing more about this world, and the work he does for it, more than I do. But nooo... he still gives it to me!"

Jamil stares at you as you vent about your stress and struggles in NRC. He honestly thought that your life is harder than his! How on the seven do you-?

The doors to the office opens and you and jamil both stand up. The other housewardens walked off and kalim ran to jamil, like a parent picking up their kid in kindergarten.

Jamil sighs, seeing kalim's face makes him exhausting... he quickly looks at you, not turning his head to not make it obvious. You were walking into Crowley's office as he hands you a big stack of papers. He practically saw the light in your eyes fade... he HAS to do something.. but what?

A few days past and he just watched you get more exhausted. The more he watches you the more his feelings for you grows. And the more he watched you get degraded the more he wants to set the world on fire for you..

You couldn't hold a conversation as long as you use to now! What is Crowley making you do?

His hand balled into fist. Then he get an idea.. he's always wanted to do this but never thought about it, there will be come changes to the plan with you in it but it could work!

It was in the evening and he stopped by the Ramshackle dorm. With shaking hands he knocked. He can't believe he's gonna do it.

You answer and he quick took out a cloth from his pocket and covered your mouth. Your struggles were pointless with his strength and your muffled screams wasn't going to be heard by anyone since you practically lived in the middle of nowhere. You went limp and he smile grew.

You woke up, chained, gaged, and blindfolded. You didn't know where you were you were so scared.. but you hear foot steps...

"Good morning, my little desert flower~ im sorry I had to contain you like this, I can't risk anymore seeing you. But once we leave the Isle of Sages, ill let you see."

Lilia has been watching you since that first day you came here. How much chaos your presence cause, not including Grims presence, was amazing.

He'd be lying if he said he didn't feel something for you after that first day.

Whenever you're doing anything, he watches. And if hes busy, he has his bats watch you instead. They'll report any and everything about you. Including the dark circles appear under your eyes.

To say he was a little pissed... was an understandment. How dare the Crow hurt someone he cared for..

Lilia had half a mind to just get rid of Crowley with a big display of his remand.. but his kids will be scar so probably not.

He'd would think about if for a bit and told himself, why not just take you to live in Briar Valley? You could live there and he'd support you and care for you. You have a caring personal type with how much you take care of those first years.

You'll make a perfect parent...

Lilia stopped by Ramshackle dorm for a "surprised visit". You thought his strange behavior was just lilia being a strange guy? Meanwhile lilia felt like he was young again when he's with you. He felt shy and anxious. He was all fidgety and not making 100% eye contact with you.

Oh by the seven, you stir something within him and its not unwelcomed.

"Lilia? I don't mean to be rude but.. umm... why are you here..? You kinda came at a bad time.. Crowley has some paper work he wants me to fill out for him.."

Lilia fidgeting stop and if you had his super hear, you'd hear him grit his teeth for a moment.

He flips around suddenly and gets a unsettling smile.

"I came because I just remembered a old story and I wanted to tell someone before it slips my mind!"

You stared at Lilia but nodded for him to continue.

"Do you remember when I told you about the story of the Thorn Fairy? And how she put a curse on this cute little human~?"

With every word he spoke, he got closer to you.. you tried to make some distance but it quickly was put to a halt when lilia grabbed your arm.

"L-ilia.. You're hurting me.."

You tried to pull away but nothing can compete with Lilia's strength.

"Did I also tell you that with skill and focus, a powerful mage, can change the effect of such a powerful spell~?"

You're particularly trembling at this point. He got up really close to you and he shows you a small sewing needle.

"I promise, it won't be too long. Just long enough for everyone to stop looking for you~"

Blair and Rio... They don't necessarily hate each other but they definitely not fond of one another.

The main reason they don't get along is because Blair does her best to create Life (and that's pretty hard) and beautiful things (let's not talk about illnesses, girl has her moments) while Rio doesn't hold back to take her hard work away.

Blair pretty much doesn't want to interact with Rio. It's kind of one-sided hate. Rio pretty much doesn't care.

Blair saved her life more times than once, which only added fuel to her hate towards Rio. She never knew why but she just felt like she had to protect her and her life.

Eventually she revealed herself and they pretty much became close friends and soon enough lovers too. They have been together for around ~100 years.

Despite Blair being pretty much alive since the dawn of time, she's still kind of the younger one since she's physically stuck at the age of 21.

Blair is a switch but pretty much lets Lilia dominate.

𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞

They are literally best friends. No questions asked.

Blair always does her best to protect her. She felt bad when she learned about the family curse and swore to protect Alice from it.

Blair always, always helps Alice finds new jobs and she somehow finds them faster than Alice does.

They're pretty much neutral about each other. Blair finds her quite mean but they get along.(that's all since they don't really interact)

Blair knew from the start who he was, what was his deal and how everything happened. She felt very shitty for hiding all of it but she couldn't blow her cover.

He views Blair kind of like an older sister and she sees him as her little brother. They're very fond of each other.

She helps him understand and control his powers since Agatha's not exactly the most patient person.

She was the only one who actually drank the wine and was not affected. Everyone saw her drink, which made almost everyone suspicious. (Lilia was obviously not surprised and Agatha had a suspicion about who might Blair be.)

She played it off with "Oh, I'm immune to poison. A family thing." (which was not necessarily a lie)

Post trial: She was fuming when Rio appeared as the Green Witch. (they still summoned her because they realised Sharon is not a witch). They lost Sharon out of eyesight and all of a sudden she was not there anymore. Privately, Blair and Rio had a civilised talk and sent Sharon off the Road, back to Westview and played it as if she stepped off the Road again and died.

𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥

Blair is actually a pretty good singer so she sang alongside Agatha.

The only one not affected by the curse.

Post trial: She didn't doubt Jen but she did use her magic to make sure Teen stayed alive. Also, Rio only stopped Agatha from kissing her. Blair broke the news that Teen is not Nicholas.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥

This is probably the only moment Blair and Rio get along and work together on the Road.

Alice still tried to save Agatha but Blair interfered the last second, pushing Alice away and saving her while also saving Agatha. Teen still shouted Nicholas' name and that's the moment Blair let go of Agatha.

Post trial: Teen still lashes out at Agatha for almost killing Alice while she kept insisting that it was accidental. And he still sends Lilia and Jen off the road. While Rio leaves the Road, Blair willingly gets off the Road to go after Lilia and Jen, afraid to leave them alone.

𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥

Pre trial: Blair got up pretty fast, right after Lilia. While Lilia discovered Rio is Death, Blair attacked Rio with magic, making her back off. She has a small monologue about how they had this discussion before and that Rio will not lay a single hand on Lilia ever. And that's practically the reveal that Blair is Life and that Rio and Blair are sisters.

When they get to the trial and Lilia finally does the reading for herself, Blair is the only one without a card. But Lilia accidentally drops a card on the floor, the card being "The Lovers" and she looks up at Blair, a silent confirmation that they are lovers and that that would be Blair's card.

When Lilia shoves everyone in the iron maiden, Blair stays behind. After Lilia shoved Jen, Blair placed The Tower, ran, took Lilia's hand and pulled both of them in the iron maiden, changing Lilia's fate. (as always when Lilia's in danger)

𝐅𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥

𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝟖

Blair manages to make everyone stay close to one another and casts a shield around all of them before fighting with Rio. Blair says no one is going to die, not on her watch, and that she didn't protect everyone on the Road just for it to all be in vain.

We find out that oh my gosh, Agatha has her powers back!! So she breaks through Blair's shield and she still kisses Rio. After that, Rio leaves and the shield breaks. Everyone (obviously) feels bad.

Blair gave Lilia one look. A "Please let me save her" look and Lilia nodded. Blair managed to rebuild Agatha's body (her corpse), crouched down and kissed it. You see, since Rio can take life by kissing, Blair can give life by kissing.

Agatha wakes up, as if she only fainted and immediately hugged Blair and thanked her. Blair said it was no problem but it was clear that she was not feeling well. The whole "kiss-of-Life" thing is very draining for her and Blair ends up passing out. Lilia calms everyone down by telling them this and that Blair will be fine and will wake up eventually.

Billy still leaves but everyone else stays, doing their best to help Blair.

𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝟗

We finally get to see more of Blair and Agatha's backstory.

After Rio leaves, Blair comes around to help Agatha with Nicholas.

The viewers are shown that Blair always helped Agatha and did her best to keep Nicky as healthy as possible.

We're shown that before Rio took Nicholas, she and Blair had a big fight. Rio said she needed to take Nicholas away and that she already let him live for too long. Blair on the other hand said that it was unfair and that it took her a lot of effort to create him since he lacked a father. Sadly, Blair lost the fight. She couldn't stay around Agatha anymore since she felt guilty for Nicholas' death.

After the backstory is shown, the focus of the episode shifts to Agatha's house. Basically everyone is worried because Blair is still passed out.

Eventually Blair wakes up and everyone calms down. Jen and Alice leave. Lilia stayed with Blair.

Billy came back a few hours later, asking Agatha for help to find Tommy. She agrees but says they kind of need one more person and she guides him to the living room, where the camera shifts to Blair and then the episode ends, alluding to the fact that they need Blair's help.

Would you say Silver has the fairy gifts Aurora was given in Sleeping Beauty?

YES

Quite literally virtually the same gifts in more ways than one, with the first gift of beauty being more obvious and the second gift of song being a bit more subtle, and third gift being kinda identical to Aurora's situation.

As of right now we don't know if Silver is particularly good at singing, we've never heard him sing in game and it's never stated anywhere that he's good at it BUT the lyrics and scene from Sleeping Beauty 1958 would imply that it's more of a sort of melodious vibe one carries with them, which matches him perfectly

The gift of beauty is self-explanatory, I'm including the visuals because the birds shown here are also shown in Silver's signature spell.

Silver (and his biological father Dawn Knight) were given golden hair from day fairies blessing them. This is a trait that Aurora was blessed with too, specifically 'gold of sunshine' which Lilia describes Silver as having when he was a baby.

Silver is also referenced multiple times in canon as handsome and/or beautiful, Dawn Knight is also referred to as handsome and receiving 'the gift of beauty,' Silver was obviously gifted this as well.

Now here's where things get a little subjective,

I'd argue that this is how his friendship with animals came about, the 'sweet serenade' he's given could very well be the animals that come to help him in his time of need (that and Aurora is pictured conversing or at least befriending a bird in the visual)

His friendship with animals is so noticeable that other characters notice it and find it strange (sometimes endearing) animals are willing to gift him things he wants/needs (like in Silver's lab vignette) or literally defend him from danger (Book 7 Chapter 73 Westward Breakthrough - Part 1)

Silver also describes his childhood as him living alone deep in the woods with his father (in virtually the same cottage of fairy cottage), and that he was never lonely because he had many animal friends to keep him company (which mirrors the live Aurora lived until she was 16)

Merryweather's gift to break Maleficent's curse is pretty much the final 'blessing' that Silver had been given (that I think transformed into something more of a curse unless the story proves otherwise)

Dawn's three fairies gifted Silver all of these things, and their final gift for him was to protect him in magic sleep so that he wouldn't die in the conflict that killed his bio parents and instead wake up in a world without war.

It was a spell meant to save his life just as Aurora's did and true love is meant to break it just like Aurora's so I'd say it counts, except he spent more time in spelled sleep than she did in both the 1958 movie and the original Sleeping Beauty fairytale 😭

So to sum it up, Silver basically received all of Aurora's gifts with their own little spin on it. Anyways, highly recommend watching Sleeping Beauty for yourself, I've loved this movie long before twst even existed so seeing such a genuine homage to the story of Sleeping Beauty and Aurora as a character makes me so happy.

So. Thoughts.

Nicky created the ballad of the Road, Billy created the Road itself. For Agatha, the Road is inherently connected to her son and walking it…

At the beginning of the 8th episode, Agatha already knows Lilia is dead and she is in a really difficult state of mind. She did not want her dead and after realising what Lilia was able to do for Billy, it must be hard to face Rio.

While mourning her friend (or kindred spirit), her mind is in overdrive on how to save THIS kid who is NOT HERS but still reminds her so much of him. And they even have a past, they have affection for each other and Agatha can't help but merge the two boys in her heart.

And Rio does not like what Billy is, that she can't take him but she - unlike Agatha - can't lie (what is it with me and autism coded characters) so she taunts her with truths.

"This WALK with Another Woman's son?"

Coming from Rio it reeeaaally feels like jealousy. There is the implication that Billy is Wanda's, yes, but Agatha is still a mother figure for Billy whatever else happens. And Rio is not part of that, this is not 'their' son, so she feels cheated in more ways then one.

I'm not sure what happened between Salem and the birth of Nicky, but at first, I really don't think Agatha wanted to kill that much. She was surprised she took the powers of the Salem Seven and went on her merry way alone, with Rio. And then she gave birth to a son who got Time from Death but not a Life. Agatha needed to kill for him to live so she slowly gave up parts of her soul, and her only dedication was for Nicky and when the Time came, Rio took the last piece of her soul and Agatha was left with nothing. Special treatment, huh? So she went on a killing spree, took a lot of power, aquired the Darkhold, hid form Rio and learnt everything there is about chaos and creation. If there is no soul left to corrupt, it doesn't matter anymore, does it? Maybe this is why she wasn't truly corrupted because Agatha was a feeling human person still.

And then she met Wanda and in some ways they were more alike than she'd want to admit. She felt for Wanda, her grief touched her and she hated her for that. She wanted the power - maybe to bring back Nicky, maybe something else - but NOT the feelings. And after Wanda's death, only the feelings remain, without the power.

Now, back to the 8th episode, after all this, Rio WANTS to take The Kid, and Agatha sighs, yeah, that's what you do, you take, go, do that. But then she realises, that Rio CAN'T and that's when the con starts. And the inner battle. Agatha is SO PISSED at the audacity that Rio wants her help to take the kid she has (conflicted) feelings for, so she lashes out, she hurts Rio. She wants her soul back! The kid can belong to her without belonging to Rio! And she does not want to be reminded of what and why she has done, and Rio as herself is the embodiment for that.

In the end she realises she also needs to let go. And so she listens to her coven and she listens to the one person who sees the good in her, and surrenders. And so she gets a bit of her soul back, even if she ends up not exactly corporeal for the time being. (Oh she's gonna come back I'm sure of that and Rio will let her this time.)

They lost…

Briar Country, once heralded as a Land dominated by the Fae, is now a remnant of what it once was…

Their Princess…slain by the humans who demonized them for their existence. All because of the greed of one egotistical man.

All that was left of her was her son. Still only an egg, but also a star of hope for the people of Briar Valley.

And yet he, too, was taken away from his arms. Not by death, but by those who viewed the broken-hearted war general, who could do nothing but weep for the death of his beloved Meleanor, a failure.

As the days began to pass, the people of Briar Valley hoped and prayed for the young prince to hatch. While nurtured from afar with his grandmother giving him her magic, the prince heard Lilia's vow to one day find a solution that will awaken him.

And so, he traveled the changing world of humans. Looking for the key that would save the egg.

During his journey, he would stumble upon people, asking if anyone knew how to hatch a dragon's egg. But all he got in turn was disdain and hatred by most people who only saw him as a monster.

Even with the malice of human perspective and apathy wanting to make him give up, Lilia persevered and continued his journey.

All for Malleus's sake.

While he may not have made any progress, Lilia could only offer stories to the young prince when he met him time and time again. His voice was a balm to the little one, subconsciously becoming a Hymn of Hope to young Malleus. 

The stories Lilia told were that of an ever changing world beyond Briar Valley's borders. How much humanity has changed; some still superstitious and distrusting while others were more open and compassionate. He spoke of how he hopes to show Malleus the world once he's older.

The days passed with no signs of the egg shell showing any cracks to indicate his hatching. The people of Briar Valley feared that their Prince would soon join his parents in the Stars. That they would lose their symbol of hope to death.

However, even as those around him and Queen Maleficia despaired for the worst, Lilia kept moving forward. Kept going despite the gear gnawing at his heart and mind.

“I made a promise to your mother that you will one day hatch and become a Prince she would be proud of.”

And Lilia's vow grew into determination and hope. A hope that for one day Malleus could forge a bond with the outside world. From that hope gave birth to a power that is befitting for someone him; Protector of Cradles. Such a blessing allowed him to save the young prince when he began to reject his Grandmother’s magic and cry out to his true guardian and father.

Giving it his all, from his love, his magic and life force, Lilia had given it all to Briar Valley’s Hope. To young Malleus.

Lilia Vanrouge was proud to give up everything to give his Prince that hope.

♡ malleus didn't want to admit it, but he was curious to see just what you could possibly have on that phone of yours. idia was able to fix the phone you brought from your world and now you could use it in twisted wonderland as well and you had quite a lot of interesting things to show to your friends and, of course, your boyfriend. it was hard for malleus to hide his excitement when you showed him the photos of yourself you had saved in your gallery. you look so?? beautiful?? you look even better in real life, but there's just something about these photos that makes him feel warm. like, here you are, hanging out with your friends and laughing and on this photo you're celebrating your birthday with your family.

♡ the most respectful boy!! he didn't even think much about the things you could have on your phone. it doesn't mean that he's not interested, he just thinks that if you want him to see something, you will show it to him eventually. and if you don't want to show it to him, then why should he force you to do it? but he's very happy to hear that you actually do have some photos to show him and he makes sure not to miss anything. he listens to every word you say and he looks at every photo like it was some kind of a great painting, you're just that important to him. feel free to poke his cheek whenever he accidentally starts falling asleep, he never does it on purpose, he swears that he really does want to know more about you and he's paying attention.

♡ when you accidentally show him a picture of you as a child, he does get surprised for a second, but doesn't ask any questions when he notices that you're not comfortable with him seeing it. it's fine, everyone has something they don't want others to know about, even if it's not that serious. but to be honest, a little part of you wants silver to see those photos. maybe he will find them cute or funny, you don't know, but you feel like he has the right to see them. you trust him and you know that silver will never judge you, especially for something so silly. so you take a deep breath and show him those photos while hoping that he doesn't notice how red your face is.

♡ he's totally not interested in seeing what you have on your phone. totally. he acts like it's not a big deal when he hears that idia fixed your phone, but it's obvious that he wants to know more and he's not good at hiding his interest. so you decide to tease him a bit. "oh well, it's a shame that you don't want to see those photos. i even have a picture that i took with malleus-" ah, it worked. you try so hard not to laugh, because you never took any pictures with malleus, at least not with this phone. you don't want to disappoint your sweet but a bit stupid (affectionate) boyfriend, but you will have to tell him the truth eventually.

♡ yes, he is disappointed at first, but as you show him more and more pictures, he kinda forgets about that photo with malleus. he's so focused on learning more about you and he really does listen to your stories, you can't help but smile. you end up getting distracted and you accidentally show him a photo of you as a baby and he does notice it. you try to quickly show him a different photo, even though you know it's too late. "okay, so this is a photo of my- huh? what do you mean, sebek? you.. you don't know who that child is?" OH SO HE DIDN'T EVEN RECOGNIZE YOU. you try to stay calm, but you end up laughing so hard, sebek has no idea what's going on. of course, you can understand his reaction, you changed quite a lot since that time.. but still, this guy really didn't recognize his own girlfriend!

♡ you explain to him that this child is you when you were younger and sebek's reaction is just "oh". he tries to hide his embarrassment and he says that you just look very differently now and you agree with him, but you find this situation too hilarious. like wow.. okay, this man didn't recognize you, that's it, you're breaking up, you're packing your bags and leaving. you make sure to tell him that you're just joking though, because he can and will take it too seriously. you show him some other childhood photos and he actually starts to see the similarities. even though you look a bit different now, you still have the same smile, the same energy, the same curiousity in your eyes. some of your poses on those photos are even similar to your recent photos! that's.. that's kind of cute, actually. he never says it out loud though. wait, so what about that picture you took with malleus?

rio is trying to decide if she's into zombie agatha, lol. it's like she's always in a different show than everybody else. or rather, she's transcending genres, she's always doing her own thing because the Road doesn't affect her. while the others see real danger, she sees painted sets she can cut through with her knife.

but look what happens next. rio suddenly turns serious, and there's even a hint of panic in her voice. it's as if she realized this is not all tricks and smoke.

and finally, she fully comprehends how dangerous billy is. like, the staggering scale of it. chaos magic creates life in an artificial way that goes against everything rio stands for. wanda did not create an illusion of Vision, she made a real, alive vision out of thin air. billy himself was created the same way. and now he has effectively brought back evanora - not a pale imitation, a ghost Evanora functionally indistinguishable from the real thing, just as full of hatred and just as capable of hurting agatha. if it wasn't personal before!

you know, I didn't like this episode as much as the others on first watch, but I was wrong. there is a lot to unpack here. like many things on AAA, it's all in the subtleties.

Episode 8 and 9 spoilers of Agatha All Along!

God tonight’s final episodes of Agatha all along were something. First we finally got the agathario kiss that Marvel promised us, which thank god. Even though it was a kiss of death literally, it was still great to see lesbians kiss. Especially since it’s still overall owned by Disney and yes they are getting a tiny bit better, but damnnn. I really like the way they shaped Agatha and Rio’s relationship in regards to Nicholas Scratch. It made it show more why she is the way she is. That the main reason she kills people is to help get bodies for Rio.

That makes a lot more sense now why she has never learned how to stop taking peoples power. Since she never had a reason to learn and therefore she truly didn’t know how to save Alice in episode 5. At first she took the power since her mother and coven literally wanted her dead (it was more of a defense mechanism at that point). Then she took it to help extend the life of her son with Rio (Lady Death). After that it was just an agreement to get Rio to not want to kill her and spare herself. Hence the whole scam of the ballad of the witches road.

Speaking of the witches road I’m surprised that song spread so fast among the witches. Considering it seems the first time people hear it is when Nicholas is singing it at that restaurant. Then all of a sudden witches hear about it and that they get what they most desire. Which in terms just let Agatha get bodies and get power for herself. Since she killed everyone else on the road by making them attack her. Which she almost did to Lilia, Jenn, Alice, and Mrs. Davis. Yet the mysterious road appeared.

Which in turn makes sense why she was so confused on when the actual road appeared. Since she knew it was always a scam. Also with Billy (William) leading everyone into it while running away from the Salem seven. All of you who theorized it was Billy’s hex were correct. He just didn’t entirely control it I don’t think since how would he know about everyone’s nightmares for the first trial and how would he have controlled the curse in the second.

My question then is, if Agatha killed all the people on the witches road. What relation did she have to Alice’s mom? We find out that Alice accidentally killed her mom due to a fire (iirc) while on tour. Also we know that Jen became unbounded thanks to Billy. When she found out it was Agatha who did it to her to make a quick buck.

Overall I just thought it was a really good show even though (spoiler: I’ve never seen wandavision, though I plan to watch it next). I ended up watching a recap video before watching this show I found on youtube.

There we go! Midterms are absolutely beating me with a stick and I am exhausted. However, I am going home this weekend to see a concert with my partner, and we're both pretty excited.

I did have a little debate with myself over whether or not I wanted to put in a public forum that the Voltron bug has wormed its way into my brain yet again, but then I remembered that this is Tumblr and the only two people on here who know I run this blog are not gonna care.

Fun fact: Voltron was originally got me into fanfic years ago. I was in the fandom when the show was still coming out , and it still holds a really special place in my heart because it got me through a really tough time in my life.

I loved how we experienced the episode the way Lilia experiences time! I especially like how we were right about the "Don't try to save Agatha" line!

The maestra was a very cool little character!

They left the door open to Wanda coming back ("Is Wanda Maximoff really dead? "Yes. No. Maybe." with that damnable smirk), which I, as a Wanda fan, am very happy about.

The Salem Seven are either dead or incapacitated, I'm honestly not sure.

We are very likely going to get a final showdown with Agatha and Rio ("When she calls you a coward, hit the deck")! I really hope that Nicholas Scratch is at its base, because Lilia did point out that the Three of Swords (sorrow, grief) was something they had to face.

While I am sad that the show is ending, I'm really happy with what we have, and I'm so excited to see how they wrap everything up!
