Goldenlight week 2023💜💛: Day 1 New Beginnings/Intertwined Fates

"Your souls are tied together. Odd but not unheard of. It's seems you two knew each other in a past life," replied the fortune teller in the booth as she turns over the first tarot card. Hunter and Luz stare, simliar brown golden eyes widen at this announcement. Behind them, the rest of their friends look on in confusion.

Second times the charm. The gang was hoping this year's Gravesfield Halloween Festival would be different from the last. No horrific surprises. Taking a break from rebuilding the boiling isles, Luz and friends decided to go again this year. All dressed in costumes, everything was going well till the lady in the fortune teller booth demands to give Luz and Hunter a free tarot card reading(and only them). "It's just something about you two. Your fates are intertwined, and I would certainly fail as a Wiccan if I don't sniff out the reason why."

Humoring the lady, they both sat down at her request, and together picked three cards. "Three, always three. For the past, the present, and the future."

To hear that in the past they knew each other, brought a chill down Luz's spine. It makes her think of things she did not wish to think of. Mindscapes, dark trees, and golden masks hiding a horrible truth. Sensing this Hunter brings his scarred hand to hold hers in comfort. Feeling this she smiles at him. He smiles back, fragile but no less meaningful.

Continuing the fortune teller turns over the second card. The present. "Right now you two are dealing with the aftermath of great trauma, caused by a man who caused you both pain many times. The shadow had a hold on you. But now with some time and healing you're both are trying to move on. Fair warning two you two. Trauma brought on by shadows, creates a bond if it's shared by two people with fates intertwined . It will be very difficult for you to be able have a connection with anyone else."

Amity at this scoffs, but Willow and Gus shush her. They both wish to hear more as well. Hunter and Luz don't look at each other. But they can feel the tension. This was turning stranger and stranger. Hunter squeezes Luz's hand. She grips back hard.

Finally with a mischievous smile the fortune tell her turns over the last tarot card. The future. This card had a couple in each others embrace in a dark forest. The only light was a golden heart above them.

Hunter and Luz both blush at this card. They let go of each other's hands in embarrassment. The fortune teller smiles softly, as if she's finally figured out something about Luz and Hunter.

"The Lovers card. In the future position it has several different meanings, but this Major Arcana card usually predicts that a new relationship is about to head your way, or that you will have to make a difficult but rewarding decision." At that the women eyes Luz. Than the women with her long dark nails points to the golden heart on the card above the lovers. "The golden heart, a heart of light. Indicates a strong lovers bond. It has been building for a long long time. It is a safe haven this love, and will protect from future troubles. In simple terms you two will be each others family, no matter what." With that the fortune teller smile turns back to being wicked and mischievous smile. As if her last words had a hidden meaning. As if shes poking fun at some other higher power. She grabs the three cards and brings the back to the deck to reshuffle them. "Thank you for indulging me my dears. Doing a reading for you two has been very entertaining." Hunter says nothing, his face a pretty dark red blush. Awkwardly tries to avoid their friends looks, he runs his fingers through his blonde hair. Luz is blushing too, but tries to be polite, giggles to ease the tension, "No problem, Miss a? We didn't catch your name?"

"DarkCrow. Madame DarkCrow. Princess of darkness and all things wicked." The women gets up winking at them. " Hope you two are very happy together. New beginings always are. Especially on Halloween"

Goldenlight week 2023💜💛: Day 2 Wolves/Forgotten Fairy Tale

*part of my lunter and boshamity twilight au*

"Why is the moon so lonely?" Willow says in a loud and clear voice as she surrounds both werewolves and vampires(and one human girl named Amity) around the bonfire on Gravesfield beach. The moon is full and bright and for once vampires and werewolves are not fighting with each other.

Luz who is sitting on her Husband Hunter's lap claps in excitement. She yells out the question Williw wants to hear, "Why?"

"Because," Willow continues in a dark mysterious voice, "She use to have a lover, and for a long time they lived in the spirt world together." Willow smiles with mischief, "They would spend nights wandering the spirt world, worshipping each other. Their feelings so great, that when they made love it caused the sky to erupt in meator showers."

Everyone wolf whistles or howls at this part. Luz cuddles deep into Hunter's arms. He playfully nips at her ears. Like a cat, his fangs tickle.

"Unfortunately one of the other spirts was jealous of their love. He was the younger brother to the moons lover. A very old and cruel spirit. He saw his big brother spirt as his. Belonging to no one else but him."

Luz starts to frown at this. Already can tell where this story is going.

" So the old jealous spirt devises a plan to hurt his big brother and punish the moon. Tricking his brother, he told him the moon wanted flowers from the human world. That she wanted him to pick her wild roses."

"Unfortunately the moons lover didn't know that when you leave the spirt world you can never come back. The spirt was trapped in the human world with roses in his hand. Unable to go back with his love. All he can do is gaze up at her every night and howl her name. But he can never touch her again."

Willow stops for a minute and let's the sad surprise filter through the group. Than she continues, "Can you guess what the spirts name was?" All the werewolves as one said, "Wolf!" Than they all got up and howled to the full moon. Their necks arched as they let a little bit of that werewolf side of them come out to make their howls more animal like. It echos across the waves of the beach. Till eventually the sound fades away. A forgotten whisper lost on the sea.

"What a tragic romantic story," Amity sighs wistfully. "Doomed to never be with the one you love. Just only allowed to see them from a distance." Boscha cuddles Amity close when she sees her depressed look.

A scoff, loud and mocking comes from Hunter. "It's a stupid story, is what it is." (As Hunter says this he brings Luz close to him. Possessively holding her. As if afriad to loose her.)

Amity frowns at Hunter, "I wouldn't expect you to understand romance or heartbreak."

"It's not about that," Hunter says, " It's a stupid story because the Moon could have easily joined her lover if she wanted to. She chose to stay in the spirt world and not be with him. Says a lot about their great love."

Luz turns to Hunter curious, and wanting to stop a fight between Hunter and Amity before it can start. "What do you mean Hunter?"

Hunter at that gives her a soft look, eyes darkening into deep pools of wine. Love and possessiveness shine in those dark eyes. He moves a loose curl of her hair behind her ear. "If it was me, I'd give up the spirt world, immortality, all of it and follow you to the human world." He cups her cheek, she leans into his hand.

"If it was me I'd do anything to be together with you again. I wouldn't just leave you alone." Hunter says that like it's a solemn vow. One to never be broken.

Luz smiles wide at his words, tears in her eyes glistening in the firelight .

"Human, Vampire, Wolf or Immortal, doesn't matter. As long as we're together," Luz declares. And she seals her promise with a kiss. Hunter kisses back. In that kiss it's as if they're all alone. They can't hear the wolf whistles, or Amity's annoyed scoffing. Like the Wolf and the Moon, they are lost in their own world.

i notice a lot of lunter, amity x male shippers and people who draw lewds and pinups of the owl house kids tend to be hispanic. and thats not to sound racist just that in the dozen unfortunate times I have found them, a good many mainly speak spanish

Every race can be racist to other races, even their OWN race. That's why you see so many Latinos be racist towards Afro Latinos but praise white Latinos. So many Latinos wanna be white so bad and worship white people.

(I've seen people joke that Latinos look like an in between of white people and black people. But like some Latinos GENUINELY think like that. They compensate by hating on black/darker skin people to prove they're BASICALLY actually white.)

It's no different than the pick me girls who are sexist to other women to seek male validation.

Bit of a vent but I'm tired of seeing people call Lunter a proship when it really isn't :( I'm not a Lunter shipper myself, I hate Lunter personally. I see Luz & Hunter as siblings which is a valid & popular headcanon! (yes, HEADCANON) But I can't stand it when people literally attack Lunter shippers for having a different headcanon. I have noticed that a proshipper is always a Lunter shipper, but a Lunter shipper isn't always a proshipper. There's a really, really problematic reputation this ship in particular has whether it's homophobia (erasing not only Amity as a lesbian but the fact Lunter is bi4bi), sexual content of minors, etc. But not every Lunter shipper is like that - you have people who like Lavender Winter! (Willumity + Hunter) where all the girls are together and Hunter is with Willow & Luz. I guess I'm tired of seeing my friends who do ship Lunter having to deal with proshippers who happen to ship Lunter or just toxic Lumity stans in the fandom. I kid you not people have sent them DEATH THREATS or told them to k*ll themselves over a SHIP. It makes me angry to see it. Lunter while it has a bad reputation and there are bad people who use that ship for bad things, not all of them are like that. I'm trying to say this in THE NICEST WAY possible, toxic shippers have the stupidest reasons for not shipping Huntlow

Heya! Now before I go into this please know I AM NOT a toxic/force shipper, I am not forcing you to ship Huntlow, simply just telling you why your reasons don't make sense and contradict to the canon versions of the characters of the show, and with that let's go

Reason 1: it's not possible for Hunter to trust Willow after Below possed him and in general

Oh. My. Fucking. Titan...Im just going to automatically assume you've never watched Any Sports In The Storm, that one part in Reaching out, Labyrinth Runners, Clouds On The Horizon, Kings Tide or the entirety of s3, I'M LITERALLY TRYING TO BE NICE BUT YOU ARE ACTUALLY FUCKING STUPID, Hunter trusts AND CARES Willow by first, in reaching out, giving her his penstegram account to chat, saving her from getting hurt in clouds on the horizon, yes, it's wasn't actually Luz, it was an illusion, and in the same episode Willow tried to save Hunter (or so she thought it does matter if it's actually Luz it just proves she cares about Hunter) and when Luz got captured by Kiki she was very anxious and hurrying everyone to get to Kiki to save Luz, yet again, don't come at me with just because it was illusion doesn't mean she dosent care about Hunter, she thought it was him, she cares about him a lot cause she was in a hurry to save him (or so she though it was him)! Hunter was comfortable and trusted her to cut his hair in thanks to them, in the same episode he wasn't uncomfortable with Willow holding him after the possession, in for the future HE LITERALLY SAYS HE CARES ABOUT WILLOW, NOT JUST GUS, WILLOW TOO, he comforted her after her breakdown and saved her and Gus, Willow trusts and cares about Hunter in ending of for the future by holding his hand (pinky promis?? Idk what to call it lol) and literally said "Thanks Hunter, you mean a lot to me to" which Hunter replied "yeah...sure, no problem"

Reason 2: they head canon either Hunter, Willow, or both of them as aroace, asexual, or on the spectrum

Titan, did you like know aroace/asexual people can like STILL DATE??? you completely misunderstand the meaning, just because they don't experience ALL ATTRACTION dosent mean THEY WON'T EXPERIENCE ANY, you know what "little to none attraction" means, it fucking means someone who has a bit, A BIT, NOT ZERO, THERE'S STILL A PIECE OF ATTRACTION THEY CAN HAVE FOR SOMEONE, I'm literally trying not to be as toxic as possible but people have the most fucking stupidest reasons

Reason 3: you ship Lunter/huntric/huntmira/boschlow/ect

Well that's fine, but those ships don't make sense in my eyes but I won't write an entire paragraph on why it doesn't make sense (I'm doing it after this post lol 💀💀) and also boschlow is literally toxic pookie it's not the enemies to lovers you want Boscha literally bullied her, if you think that's chemistry you're fucking stupid and never seen the entirety of s1

Reason 4: they're bland, don't go well together, rushed, and have no chemistry

NO YOU CAN'T DUMB FUCK, it was rushed because it WAS FUCKING CANCELLED, SORRY POOKIE DANA CAN'T DO NO SHIT ABOUT IT, it's not like you can get rid of all the episodes and make it hunlow themed, sorry, we can't get all the things we want in life, and by saying that it wouldn't work by the first impression in ASIAS is stupid, sure Willow made a bad first impression but Hunter seemed mildly phased by this other than just being a bit spooked out and startled, and NO, HE DIDN'T JUST DEVELOP A CRUSH ON HER ON SPOT, sure, he could think Willows pretty, but that doesn't mean HE HAS A FUCKING CRUSH ON HER, and people saying that it's not a "half a with Hunter" because Hunters a grimwalker dosent make any sense, may I remind you this was made before hollow mind, he's still convinced he's a powerless witch by Belos lying about it to him, he thinks he's a half a witch while yes looking like a witch on the outside despite having no bile sack, and he doesn't seem to think as himself as weak like Willow does on the other hand, eh, I wouldn't mind if they took out the half a witch, and btw it's not supposed to be a romantical aspect it's supposed to be a similarity, people have also said she's only there to comfort him, even though that's apart of Willows personality, SHE'S THE RELIABLE ONE, LITERALLY SAYING IT IN FTF, she's supposed to comfort people, supposed to be the person everyone rely on, but thats not just her whole personality, based around her reliability, she's so much more than it! People say they think they're both better off as friends in their opinion, it's totally fine! I don't give a shit really, but if you're going to state a reason why you dont think a ship is realistic, then at least watch all the episodes they're in and use some common sense at least! It's the bare minimum!

I really hate toxic Lunter and huntric shippers, or shippers in general, they just make up excuses instead of saying that huntlow isn't their type of ship or they ship something else, but if you're a multishipper you're totally cool!
