Ghuhhh Alcryst brainrotter here again ur bio says nsfw on the blog but ur pinned post didn't specify anything so uhhhuhhhh can I get uhhhh Alcryst nsfw headcanons IF NOT THAT'S OKAY SORRY FOR BEING AWKWARD LMAO *disintegrates*
Its okay! Alcryst is so fire. I am happy to write for him. This is post-war obviously so he is an adult.
NSFW Warning
-Alcryst is constantly surprised that you would want him sexually. He feels inadequate, inexperienced, and idiotic whenever he tries to initiate anything. It doesn't help that when he wants you, he gets extreamly bashful.
-Whenever you are focused on pleasuring him, he begs you to switch places.
"It should be m-me, helping you, my love. You shouldn't waste so much of your energy on me."
-As a Brodian prince, he has a decent amount of stamina for multiple rounds. However, he doesn't really have the experience to keep himself from coming as soon as he gets close.
-He'd be apologizing profusely as soon as he cums on your hand after only a few good pumps or on your chest if you are fucking/pegging him.
-If he is inside you, he is able to hold himself back a bit better due to his feelings of inadequacy ruling his brain. He tells himself, 'who would ever want his cum inside of him.' Him edging himself unknowingly means that he gets very in the zone. That's when you can hear him moan the most unabashedly.
-He would rather be degraded than praised even in bed. Praise makes him feel worse and takes him out of the mood for the most part. In fact, it would feel better to him if you just ordered him around the whole time like he was just meant for your pleasure. It keeps him out of his head if you're the one thinking for him.
-As he becomes more experienced, he is more open to expressing his boundaries. He might think that he is okay with everything as long as you want it, but that obviously isn't true. For example, he likes to be tied up, but he doesn't like seeing you that way.
-His dirtiest desire would be for you to roleplay being Diamant's lover that he is stealing away. He would NEVER admit it to anyone and would deny it if you ever brough it up. However, if you came up with the idea yourself then maybe it might happen~

I mean I cried bc poor Time has been through so much and had so little choice about his role in any of it, and then on top of that he feels like he doesn't deserve companionship :') (plus he's gonna be through MORE WHY did he have to get his eye mutilated HASNT HE BEEN THRU ENOUGH *shakes fist at the sky*) but I did smile when Wind half-teased him abt acting tough and held out his hand to help him up and the four reunited! So I do think it was comforting :D just also sad, and not likely to last bc they have their own individual journeys to get to in the end (though I really hope they'll keep contact!)
But I've also seen some really bitter takes about Time, in the "your past was awful and your future will be filled with its regrets and you can't do anything about any of it, you won't get a happy ending" kind of way, and yours strikes a lot sweeter :) like... "you might be hurt, and lonely, and not certain if you can make this happiness last, but as long as you're with them you can breathe easier, and the memory will carry you through the hard times." If that makes sense? In general you just set the atmosphere and emotions really well! I felt like I was right there with the Links, deeply worried with no way to show it and nothing but dark thoughts for company as Wind waits for Time to wake up, or sitting by the fire and watching it crackle, listening to Time and Wind's quiet conversation, the silence of the night creating the illusion of being the only ones awake in a sleeping world...
You've single-handedly made me love Wind and this possible relationship of his with Time so I dare say you're utilizing him very well!! And yeah you really get that feeling across, that he's very worried about Time but doesn't want to overstep because he gets that Time is more than capable and doesn't want him to think he's implying otherwise... like all the help he offers is strictly of the practical kind and only just hints about feelings, to make sure Time knows he can reach out any time he wants :D That multi-layered "let me help"... It's really sweet. And ooh I really love those headcanons! The elegy of emptiness and Link being the last one who needs to heal is so lovely and so in line with his character :D
This got overlong again so hopefully you weren't joking about the asks XD and a blog about your thoughts on the kid quartet would be awesome! Yeah comics take so long and so much work to make, but honestly I'd just love to hear about how you write their characters in whatever way is easiest for you :) though the way you have of showing-not-telling with the comics is truly breathtaking! Also it's rlly funny to imagine them growing up into LU and Wind suddenly going from eldest to youngest lol, I keep getting the mental image of him still trying to big-brother them while being like half their size XD
Welcome back…..!!!!!!!! [Reply under read more]
Ah, that makes more sense… yes the hero of time indeed is a really tragic character. It's an aspect i really like drawing about him!!!!!!!! I guess it's one reason all my stand-alone pieces of him are mostly somber…..
Wind probably called him out on it directly as i feel like he's probably tried to pull the "strong guy" persona at least once during his adventures, so he gets to be cheeky about it hahaha I like the idea that they keep contact, but i really doubt it…. though they won't mind much! Even if they're apart they know they're all going to take care of themselves, and have fond memories to keep them company, like you said! (Ignoring that i hc that two of these links die early in their lives….. but that's not really relevant at the moment, ha ha…..)
I'm glad you like my specific interpretation of time! I always want to follow zelda's wacky horror, where in the games there's both tragedy and happiness, so i hoped the same went for all of these characters (even if i also understand some of the more bitter interpretations of Time, I get seeing him be vengeful... but maybe that's because I felt the need to be bitter about it in his stead lololol)- im quite happy you felt so immersed! and the more wind fans the merrier, he deserves them and i really dont mind people sending asks like these, i love talking and hearing about this topic, i have a lot to say….!!!! and i really agree with what you say here, it makes me super happy ♪
I'll probably make a blog soon-ish so i can talk about my ideas and some extra stuff without interrupting this blog, i have some stuff to take care of first before i can continue drawing these four,,, In any case, your last sentence reminded me of this doodle i did a while back, so i thought to send it here lol

Ok this hasn’t been asked abt BUT
I got OrangeJuiceVerse Stan on the brain (again)
Specifically in terms of his protectiveness.
In the last OJV ask I got I mentioned that he and Kyle have the most parental tendencies of the Star Seven, and boy oh boy do I have some thoughts on Stan’s knight in shining armor complex!
I won’t get into the Kyle part of that bc 1) I have talked wayyyy too much abt that on ao3 and here, and 2) that’s a whole separate long ass post and I would probably combust.
But!!! First focusing on the M5:
So growing up together they were all generally referred to as “Stan’s Gang”, which he was like wait why are they my gang but then he grew to love that bc they were his people. He loves them with all of his soul (ojverse Stan is a lover for sure) and he is EXTREMELY protective of everyone and kind of (smh this man) sees himself as the dad of the crew. Done with everyone’s bs, the “fun” parent. A lot of that comes from his resentment of Randy, his desire to keep everyone out of true danger and not be flaky despite his own problems. This is especially poignant with Kenny.
So Stan and Kyle VERY much see Kenny as “their egg” (yes I’m borrowing from the “Stan is a protective father” note of that episode) and they really look out for him growing up bc of his shitty home life. Really all of the M5 have a soft spot for Ken, but Stan and Kenny understand each other on a spiritual level. Though Stan doesn’t consciously know abt Kenny’s immortality and IS his Ride Or Die Disaster Bi in all things reckless, the second something goes wrong he’s there, swooping in and reminding him that “yeah you can be a crazy bastard, but don’t you dare die”. He’s less overbearing than Ky gets when Kenny gets hurt, but he’s there to be like “hey man you’re good, you gotta be careful tho”. He was the first to INSIST that he pay kenny in full for his art and commissions stuff regularly through their entire lives.
With Marj, it’s really, really complex. I mentioned before in my OJV Stan hcs (thank you to the wife for that ask btw) that he was the first person she went to when she realized she was a girl! Bc he’s always been pretty emotionally honest and accepting of everything, and she was dealing with her crush on Kenny too and Stan notoriously THINKS he’s slick in being a massive simp so two birds one stone lmao. He was pretty clueless at first but that protective instinct kicked in and he was like GIRL WE GONNA FIND YOU SOME RESOURCES! Also, I’ll do a post abt how NO ONE in the OJV Star Seven is neurotypical soon, but i briefly mentioned in The Wacky Adventures of Craig And Kyle that Marjorine has the ‘tism as well, and Stan is NOT the person to go to when you’re having a meltdown, but rest assured he WILL get you to someone who is. Like she can tell him “Stan I’m feelin a little…” and he will IMMEDIATELY find her Kenny or Kyle. Kyle’s obviously his go to when things are out of his emotional scope, and that extends to Craig later down the line.
So TWEEK!!! Oh god Tweek and Stan’s relationship in the OrangeJuiceVerse is so important to me. They’re the first encounter of the Broken Bottles Quartet, and that moment when Kyle figures out about Tweek’s problem, Stan was full man-with-the-plan mode about how to help him! Before he takes Tweek to AA, he’s at ye ol’ meetin’ hall talking to the old geezers in the local group and it’s like:
“Hey, Stanny Boy, good to see you back, how you healin up (smh I did break his ribs for good reason I promise) got anything to share?” “Actually yeah, I’m gonna bring someone with me in a few days, but you guys HAVE to give him space he gets really nervous.” And the longtime AA peeps who are prone to being overly friendly back off and let Tweek just listen that first time, and Stan is consistently checking in and with Stan’s support Tweek slowly gets more comfortable, and Stan is SO fucking proud of him and he’s his sponsor for a LONG ASS TIME before he officially is.
As for Cartman, once he moves away, Stan will call him up pretty frequently to check in, like “hey fatass how’s the wedding planning company coming?” “Fuck off, hippie did you get the-“ “YES I got the beef jerky club membership quit sending me that shit” “heh, sweet.” “Asshole, but seriously are you doing okay?” “Yes you photosynthesizing dildo. The Jew looks tired in his last facebook post check on him” “I got him, Cartman” “you guys are assholes” “we love you too” “gross” smh theyre so unserious.
But yeah that’s this episode of me not shutting tf up abt OrangeJuiceVerse

The Weight of the Crown
Tumblr media
I’m participating in @emceesynonymroll  wacky drabbles.
This week is prompt  #39: I opened my eyes and had no idea where I was and will appear in bold.
HC where Alexis and Drake decide to leave the Duchy after two years of being miserable.
This takes place when Helena is still a baby and they’re still the Duke and Duchess of Valtoria.
Warning: Fluff with a tad of angst.
Thanks to  @mskaneko    for the picture prompt! (and the BEAUTIFUL edit in the mood board)
Pairing: Drake x Alexis (Mc)
Disclaimer: All characters belong to Pixelberry
Word count: 997 words
Thanks to the beautiful  @pedudley    for beta reading as always, and to @mskaneko    for this beautiful edits in the mood board.
 I love you both!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Drake sat with a cup of coffee thinking about his daughter. Helena was nine months old, and all she did was travel. His little girl spent her life going from one ball to another being paraded like cattle.
The previous night she was at a gala wearing a shiny red dress, that looked too uncomfortable for a baby. Hana had even pretended to dress him in a ridiculous red jacket. He had obviously refused and wore his black suit instead, but he was getting tired of all that circus. His only consolation was that Helena was a happy child, she had giggled all night in his or Alexis’s arms, blissfully ignorant of the threat over her head.
He heard her crying and went to get her; Alexis was so exhausted that she had slept all the way back to Valtoria the previous night.
When he got to her crib, Helena was bawling. Drake took his daughter out of her bed and cradled her in his arms, instantly calming her.
“Hi, squirt!” He smiled down at her. “What woke you up?” She giggled and he felt his heart bursting with love at the sound. “What are you laughing about, eh?” She waved her arms at him. He let her grip his finger with her chubby hand. After playing a few minutes with her, he held her against his chest and took her to the kitchen for her morning bottle.
He heated the water as he bounced her, and she chortled. “You’re really are a funny one, aren’t you squirt?” He kissed the top of her head before pulling the bottle off the bowl filled with warm water. “Let’s see if the milk is not too hot, Lena, your mom would kill me if I burn you, and I’d like to see you grow up.” He winked at her, then he put some drops on his wrist, before giving it to her. She was hungry; her chubby hands gripped the bottle as she drank avidly.
It made Drake chuckle. “I think you have your mom’s appetite; soon you will be devouring tacos with her.” He watched her eat, happy to share a moment with her. A feeling that was fast replaced with his deep concern for her. He didn’t seem to be able to enjoy any more moments with his daughter without feeling anxious for her future.
He couldn’t deny that not everything about the royal life had been horrible. Liam, Leo and he had lived more than one adventure together. Thanks to Regina’s meddling, he had had access to a good education which had allowed him to get his scholarship for his veterinary degree. He had traveled with them all over the world. However, he was aware that the negative aspects of the nobility highly overcame the positive ones.
The world of the royal court was ruthless and greedy. To get what they wanted: more power, more money, more titles; the nobles were capable of almost anything. Drake never knew who was being honest and who was lying, who approached him only to get close to the future king.
People talked a lot about the “weight of the crown” but they didn’t even begin to imagine how heavy it was. There was no real freedom. Liam traveled, yes, but he didn’t get to see the things he really wanted. He ate in the best restaurants, but he was never allowed to taste the real cuisine in the streets. He could choose his wife, but only if she was exactly as the council wanted her. He ruled a country, but the people would never appreciate the extent of his sacrifice. As much as he had suffered as a kid being the outsider, he had always pitied his best friend, especially now that he was the king.
His blood boiled every time, anyone called her ‘little princess’. He hated the responsibility hidden behind those words. Helena would never be able to decide if she wanted to be an astronaut or a teacher. Her whole life was planned out for her. He thought about Alexis’s free spirit, something that he loved so much, if her daughter was the same, she was going to be miserable.
Helena had finished eating so he held her against his shoulder and gently tapped her back, waiting for her to burp. “That’s squirt let it all out,” he told her playfully.
After a few minutes, he sat Helena on the kitchen table, steadying her with his hands. She giggled and raised her little hands trying to touch his face. He laughed with her and didn’t see his wife, watching them from the doorframe, smiling.
Alexis couldn’t believe how much she loved both of them. She hated her royal role, but it was all worth it when she saw her husband playing with Lena and making her laugh.
She walked to the table and sat next to Drake. “Good morning”
He leaned to kiss his wife. “Hi, baby. Did you sleep well?”
She nodded, “I had forgotten that we came back from the capital last night. So, this morning I opened my eyes and had no idea where I was. I was exhausted. Yesterday Liam and I spent the day preparing a counterproposal for Bradshaw.”
He ignored the pang of his chest at the mention of ‘Liam and I’. “You’re working too hard, Lexie. You have to slow down a little.” He said worriedly.
She snapped, “I can’t. I have to find a way out. Helena is not going to marry one of those hideous twins. She just can’t. We have to get her out of it, Drake.” As much as he understood why Drake had accepted the agreement, she couldn’t avoid being angry at him.
“I know, baby, come here.” He held Lena with one hand and circled Alexis’s waist with the other, as she laid her head on his shoulder. He knew that they had to get Helena out of the betrothal, but he just couldn’t see how.

Top 5 Things I Liked About RWBY Volume 3
Those of you who have been following this little series of posts are probably going ‘wait a sec Callie, don’t you do the dislikes post first?” Which, yes I do, but there’s a reason why I’m doing Likes. It’s because, well... there’s not going to be a Dislikes post. I tried to think of things that I genuinely disliked about V3. I tried to think of nitpicks that I had about V3. I tried to see if there were things that I disliked back when it aired.
And I got nothing.
Yeah, I disliked nothing about V3. I had to stretch on Dislikes in V2, but here? I got nothing. I mean sure certain character deaths sucked because... well, death. But these scenes were actually done well, so I don’t dislike them. There’s a couple of little animation errors, but I can’t make a list out of that nor do those bother me since the animation is overall very good. This was my favorite volume up until V6 (and even with that I was able to come up with dislikes for it) and needless to say, this volume out of all fo them is not one that you mess around with. So instead of forcing myself to make a list I’ve got no material for, we’re skipping to Likes. Cause I’ve got plenty of those.
#5. Maiden Twist
Tumblr media
I remember when this twist got revealed, and I was in shock... well that and because the same chapter ended in Yang being defamed and they decided to choose then to go on holiday hiatus. That was still mean RT! Okay, yeah the twist. I... really liked it! It made sense, added to the lore of the series, and really ramped upt he tension. Sure we weren’t 100% sure how the Maidens would tie into the overall plot, but V5 fixed that so any issues that I had with it are long since resolved.
I think what really makes me appreciate it is for those unaware, this twist? This was the final thing conceived by Monty before his passing in February 2015 when V3 would have been in pre-production. This was not a part of the original plan for RWBY, but Miles and Kerry decided to keep it and work with it anyone since it was Monty’s final idea. IDK what the original plan was, and we’ll probably never know, but I think that they fit it in very well. It explains why CInder has so much power. Part of why the Ozluminati is so secretive. It makes the world more interesting and as I said, adds to the lore. And the tale itself was very well done and felt like a genuine fairy tale, especially the version in World of Remnant.
The execution wasn’t 100% perfect. Like I said, the importance of the Maidens int he story wasn't made clear until V5. But considering that they had to figure out how to fit it in with the overall planned story, I say that they did very well. The rule also makes plenty of sense, and that I appreciate. I really like to applaud writers who make changes like this work, and nowadays I can't imagine RWBY without the Maidens. Would the original plan have been better? I don’t know. But I’m happy with where they took things, and I’d say that Monty’s final contribution is one that’s impact isn't fading out anytime soon.
#4. Yang Development
Tumblr media
Okay IDK if development is the right word, but this was a good volume for Yang! Well okay for her it probably sucked. A lot. But for us watching, it... was painful. But it was good for her character arc!
Up to this point, Yang was probably the least developed of the four girls. She was a pretty girl who was really good at hitting things and was a fun, but caring friend and sister. But otherwise, she’d had little development and imo her motivation to become a Huntress was by far the weakest. But anything that she lacked she made up for in personality and even then, she was by far the fan-favorite. SHe’s... my least favorite of Team RWVY, mainly for other reasons I’ll get to when I do a later list, but I still enjoy her and she’s always been really fun.
And it made what happened in this volume all the more painful.
First, she gets framed and can’t prove her innocence. Her team gets disqualified from the Vytal Festival as a result. Then the Battle of Beacon happens! She can't do anything for her sister and therefore tries to find Blake. She finds her getting attacked by Adam, she tries to interfere, and... she loses an arm. Worst, Blake, the person she just lost a limb for runs away without so much as a goodbye. Weiss is taken away by force, and all of this along with the loss of Beacon and the multiple deaths have left Yang broken and bitter. She can’t even comfort Ruby or accept any comfort that her sister offers, and in the end just tells Ruby to go do what she wants and leave her alone. Ruby leaves sometime later, all while Yang is still sitting in bed with an empty look.
This volume was brutal for everyone, but Yang by far is one of the ones who had it the roughest. It hurts since, in the first half of the volume, she’s her usual happy, bright self and is easily winning all of her fights. She did nothing wrong but had to go through Hell all because of the villains who she did nothing to. It provides a lot of good later, which again I’ll touch on in a later list. But God it hurt to watch this when it aired. Nevertheless, it was very well executed and you just feel so bad for this girl and utterly mortified when she loses her arm just because she tried to save her teammate. A teammate who abandons her, re-awakening her abandonment issues in the process. It was hard to watch, but it was very well done and Yang’s character only goes up from this point.
#3. Weiss Development
Tumblr media
While Weiss’ part in the volume isn't too major, her development in the first half of the volume is freakin’ great. While we had heard enough to know that Weiss's father probably sucked, this one made that much more clear and V4 hammered that in even more. We see pretty classic abuse tactics here. Jaques tries to call Weiss, and it seems like this has been going on for a while. My HC is that he receptionist lady that Weiss talked to in V2 likely told him that Weiss called but didn’t want to talk, and that caused Jaques to increase how frequently he called her. Weiss continues to ignore it, so Jaques strips her of her income so that she can't so much as buy lunch for herself. A clear warning to Weiss that even when in another continent, she’s still under her father’s lock and key.
But then Winter arrives. While she’s stern and kinda cold, Winter is clearly a good influence in Weiss’ life and a caring older sister. She not only tries to help Weiss learn her Summoning glyph, but she reveals that Jaques used the exact same method of cutting her off that he did on Weiss. Why? Because Winter joined the military and refused to remain under her father’s grip any longer. She managed to break away, and she encourages Weiss to do so as well. She’s on the right path via attending Beacon and fighting for her right to go there, and now she has the freedom to keep exploring the world and learning about herself. This gets Weiss to once more hang up on her father, determined to cut away from him for good and continue on her own path.
It’s a powerful moment and really the sign that Weiss has truly broken free of her previous hateful midset. She’s a much kinder person than she was in V3, shown when she rejects the idea that Yang attacked Mercury unprovoked. In the Battle for Beacon, she defends Velvet, a Faunus and that allowed her to awaken her Summoning glyph. Sadly, as we all know, the Fall fo Beacon happened and Jaques took advantage of it to force Weiss to come back home. It is utterly tragic because Weiss finally got her freedom, and in an instant, it was yanked away from her. But because of these events, Weiss wasn’t going to remain a prisoner for long, and Jaques could control her no longer.
#2. Everything From PvP to The End of the Beginning
Tumblr media
Yeah, I couldn't narrow it down to just one aspect. These final four episodes of V3 (PvP, Battle of Beacon, Heroes and Monsters, and The End of the Beginning) were just... freakin’ fantastic. It might be the four best consecutive episodes in the series as a whole. These mark the end of the Beacon Era. From this point on, the series changes big time. Things get darker. Characters are forced to mature. The stakes go up and have yet to go back down. The days of wacky school antics end here, and our heroes’ lives change to the point of no return.
IDK what to truly say tbh. All of the fights were freakin’ fantastic. Penny’s death, while heartbreaking, was appropriately dreadful as well as Cinder’s speech. The Grimm attack felt horrifying, but all the students rising up to fight back and act as true Huntsmen and Huntresses were freakin’ amazing. This was Roman’s last hurrah, and he was as fun as ever. Him dying sucked, but he brought it onto himself and Ruby interfering with him one last time, taking out Neo, and destroying the ship and taking out the Queen’s Virus was epic. But of course, Cinder gets the Maiden powers, the Wyvern attacks, and in the end, Beacon falls. But Cinder doesn't get to enjoy it, as it ends with Ruby awakening her Silver Eyes, and Cinder’s victory ends in her being brought down. Brutally. She got her power, but she was still defeated by and made to feel powerless. Which she hates more than anything else. All because of one little girl.
The end of the volume is super depressing. Beacon is overrun by Grimm. Vale has been damaged. Weiss is forced back home. Blake runs away. Yang is depressed and demoralized. JNR lost a teammate. The villains all escaped. Ozpin is missing. Everything looks bleak. But there is still hope. Despite how she herself feels, Ruby decides that she still needs to fight on and go after the villains' trail to prevent this from happening again. She leaves home with JNR, determined to get to Mistral and make sure that no one else suffers like she and everyone at Beacon did. Dark times are ahead, but our heroes will recover, and they will forge on. But, of course, it ends with us finally meeting Salem for the first time, and we know that things are about to get much, much crazier from that point on.
This was a great series of episodes. It was dark and depressing but also shows how much the human spirit will persist and that there will always be heroes who rise up. It appropriately brought the show into its next stage, and it’s just as great of a watch as it was in 2016. But, of course, there is one thing that I glossed over while going over this. So... let's go ahead and talk about that.
#1. Pyrrha Nikos
Tumblr media
This was, sadly, the final volume for Pyrrha. And they made sure to make this her story as much as possible. Pyrrha is recruited to be the Fall Maiden due to her world-class fighting abilities. She is understandably uncomfortable but willing to do it in order to protect people. But then she finds out that it may cost her who she is, and she is understandably terrified. We see how uncertain she is after, and who can blame her? Once again, her famous status has overcome anything else about her. But this time, she not only learned of some kind of mass world conspiracy but if she agreed to go through with the Aura Transfer, she may not be the same person ever again. She felt that being a Huntress and fighting to protect people was her destiny, but now with it standing before her, can she take it when she’s being asked to give up so much? When everything that she thought that she new has been turned onto its head within mere hours?
Not even Jaune could have help her overcome this. In any other scenario, his words of accepting destiny would be the right thing. But for Pyrrha, it just made her an emotional wreck. The poor boy did everything right, but now he thinks that he did everything wrong. Then to make things worst. Pyrrha ended up killing Penny and it broke her. Fortunately Ruby and Jaune broke her out of it, but she ultimately accepted the Maiden deal. After all, with everything in chaos and lives on the line, what else can she do? But of course, it failed cause of Cinder, and despite Oz telling her and Jaune to leave and get help... Pyrrha made her choice then and there. She kissed Jaune, knowing that it’ll be the only chance that she got to revealing her feelings, before pushing him the locker. he looked at the boy that she loves one more time as he begs her to not go back. She launched him to safety, knowing that she will never see him again.
Pyrrha knew that if she went back into the tower, she wasn’t going to come back out alive. She knew that she was going to die. But she was a Huntress. She signed up for that life because she wanted to do good. She wanted to help people. he felt as if that was her destiny. Even though she knew that she couldn’t beat Cinder, it was her duty to fight. Whatever good that she could do, she decided to do. She went back in, and she gave it her all. And she gave Cinder one Hell of a fight. But of course, Cinder ultimately won. Pyrrha remained defiant to the end, accepting her fate. Cinder shoots Pyrrha with an arrow, and the girl that everyone thought was unbeatable, was reduced to ashes.
Pyrrha was a fantastic character. She was kind, caring, strong, and above all selfless. She aided and trained Jaune despite everyone else dismissing him as a buffoon. She encouraged Jaune in his pursuit fo Weiss, despite her own feelings towards him. Despite all the fear and doubt that she felt and Ozpin offering her an out at the very end, Pyrrha accepted the Maiden powers and whatever the end result would have been because it was the right thing to do. And despite knowing that doing so would end in her own death, Pyrrha still faced Cinder, willing to do whatever she could do to stop Cinder. While she died, it wasn't in vain as Ruby’s arrival ensured that Cinder’s victory would cost her. A true pyrrhic victory.
In the end, Pyrrha embodied what a true Huntress should be. Selfless, dedicated, and willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect the people. Even now, the impact of her death can be felt. Jaune, of course, was broken by it and it wasn't until V6 that he began to find closure and move on. Ruby still feels guilty over how she failed to save her and has PTSD from it and V5 and demonstrated. Team JNPR will never truly feel whole again after the loss. But even so, they all have pushed forward and have decided to keep living. For Pyrrha. Even in death, she’ll still always be there with them, and they can continue to honor her memory. Pyrrha may be gone, but her spirit will always live on.
Okay! That’s that! So... on to Volume 4! Which there will be a Dislikes post for that one, but also a Likes post! So be on the lookout for those~!

Ughhh I love this! And I totally agree with all of them!!! Especially love the airplane noises one.
Here is my headcanon about what happened after Red rescued Dembe from Nairobi.
Since Red is a criminal, he knows it’s not safe to settle down, but he also knows he can’t just leave the child somewhere. That boy is now his to protect, and by God, he would protect this boy if it was the last thing he did. He decides to contact Kate, for he knows that she holds a Master’s in Child Development and helped raise seven different children. Therefore, she can tell him what he needs to do in regards to raising an uneducated boy of his age.
Kate begins by physically coming to wherever they are at the moment and giving the young African boy an assessment of his abilities. The results end up reflecting the child’s unusually high intelligence even though he is unable to read or write. She tells Raymond that she recommends he educate the boy himself, adding that she’ll draw up the curriculum to mail at a later date. Kate explains that sending the boy to a boarding school or any other school would be a terrible idea due to how old he is.
Red readily agrees to this plan, feeling a spark of excitement at the prospect of being able to keep a close eye on the child in case anything happened.
Red is forthright with the boy in regards to who he is and what he does, because no matter how dishonest he can be with others, he pledges himself to be as honest with this boy as he can. He also asks for the boy’s name, which said boy reveals to be Dembe Zuma.
Smiling at the fact he can now call the child by his name, Red ruffles the top of Dembe’s head before leaving him to make a business call.
Dembe is naturally unfazed when he learns what Raymond does for a living due to the fact that he’s a former child soldier. However, he is surprised that the man who rescued him is actually averse to violence. This is what ultimately makes Dembe decide to try and trust the fedora-wearing criminal.
A week later, Red receives a manila envelope from Kate in the mail. It’s early morning when he gets it, so Dembe is still asleep. Quickly going back into the large house he’s rented in Switzerland, he pulls out a chair at the dining table and opens the package, turning it over and dumping the contents out. Red finds an alphabet book, some picture books, a phonics worksheet, a wacky little math workbook for first-graders, and a note from Kate. It reads:
Raymond,
I’ve enclosed some 1st grade-level books for Dembe. Yes, he’s at the age when he should be in high school, but he’s uneducated. The boy needs to start from the beginning and work his way up. Something tells me that he’ll be able to do it in no time. Like I said, the kid’s smart.
I’d wish you luck on teaching him, but you don’t need it. You’re one of the most intelligent men I know.
I hope you’re doing well. I hear Switzerland is nice this time of year.
Much love, Kate
Grinning, Red carefully puts each of the items back in the envelope before getting up to start making breakfast.
As the months go by, Dembe learns fairly quickly like Kate predicted. Red feels proud—not just of the boy, but also of the fact that it’s like he has a second chance. After his family was killed by the Cabal, Red thought that he’d never be able to repent for his sins, but now, as he sees Dembe slowly master English and mathematics, he feels like a father again, seeing his son grow into a wonderful, wonderful young man. (Despite the events of the season finale, I still HC Red as a former CIA officer whose entire family was killed by the Cabal. It makes the most sense.)
A year has passed, and Red realizes that he has no idea when Dembe’s birthday is. Seeing as this is the case, he asks the boy, whose English is quite adequate now, when his birthday is. Unfortunately, since Dembe was so young when he was kidnapped, he doesn’t remember when his birthday is. This greatly saddens Red, for he really wants to have a special day for his charge. It’s then that he decides that perhaps he can find Dembe’s birth records. After asking Dembe where he was born (because surely, the boy should remember that), the child says, “Sudan.”
Now a man with a mission, Red travels to Sudan and begins a search for Dembe’s history, leaving Dembe with Kate because he fears things could get dangerous. The criminal has people sift through thousands and thousands of certificates at different government offices while he himself goes asking around like an up-and-coming politician knocking on doors, asking people for their vote. Eventually, Red’s people turn up with nothing. However, this doesn’t upset Red, for he has gotten some information on Dembe’s history from a farmer who claimed to know Dembe’s family.
The farmer reveals that Dembe is the youngest child of Samwel Zuma, a farmer. Through said farmer, Red also learns that Dembe’s family was massacred by the Mombasa Cartel after Samwel reported some low-ranking operatives.
The feeling he gets is a bittersweet one. While he feels terrible that the boy had to suffer such a tragedy, he feels happy that he gets to keep Dembe, for he really does care about that boy.
Unfortunately, Red never manages to find the thing he traveled to Sudan for: Dembe’s birthdate. This makes him feel very sad, for he knows that the child would appreciate it if he had a day to celebrate. He returns home with the sad news, and Dembe takes it well. Unbeknownst to him, however, Dembe is sadder than he lets on, not because he doesn’t have a birthday to celebrate, but because Red had worked so hard to find it.
Dembe walks up to Raymond, saying, “I have an idea.” Raymond turns around, curiosity dancing in his eyes. Dembe says, “Do you remember when you saved me?”
Red catches onto the idea, blessing the boy’s genius as he says, “Of course. It’s burned into my memory.”
“Do you remember the date?”
“March 10th,” Red answers easily, knowing what will come next.
“That could be my birthday.”
Red smiles warmly, pulling the child—who’s almost as tall as him now—in for a hug.
“You really are a treasure, Dembe,” Red compliments in the boy’s ear. “I don’t know, now, what I’d do without you.”
Even though Dembe is still learning English, he fully understands the weight of Raymond’s words. He smiles, deepening the hug.
“Thank you, Raymond,” Dembe replies. “I think I feel the same.”
It is with that quiet but strong declaration that the Reddington-Zuma family is finally born.
