I feel like Pierre's gf would be bffs with Esteban's gf and it woulf be them going on double dates and the guys going: i will pinch u if my gf doesn't notice it but she will and deprive me of fun stuff grrr
And then both of them have a heart attack when skysports show a video of snakey!gf cuddling with flying squirrel!gf
- 🐺
yessss most definitely! they absolutely refuse to be in a 2 meter radius of each other, but of course they ultimately begrudgingly give in each of their girlfriends' request to have a double date. (but not without complaining about it hours beforehand)
a lil blurb below (i altered your thought a little bit though):
Tumblr media
you just had about enough of your boyfriend's whining and groaning about spending time with esteban. whenever you mentioned having a double date with esteban's girlfriend, it was always, "yes, sure, mon amour! whatever you'd like!" and "sounds good to me, baby!" but when it hit the hour mark before the scheduled date, it turned to "how about we go somewhere else, just us?" and "do we really have to go?" it was exasperating, really.
when complaining didn't work, he tried to persuade you by buying you the latest designer jewelry.
"look!" he exclaims, gesturing excitedly towards his phone. "there's this brand, van cleef, that sells pretty nice bracelets! there's like a green ones and a blue ones that you can match your outfits with." pierre glances up to find you with your arms crossed, one eyebrow raised. "or i can get both?" he offers desperately.
"pierre gasly," you say, enunciating each syllable. "we are going, no matter how many van cleef bracelets you try to buy me."
Tumblr media
"OH MY GOD REALLY???" you gasp, clutching your chest. "no way he did that!"
"exactly!" esteban's girlfriend says, giggling. "i was shocked too!" she then takes a bite out of her bouillabaisse, and daintily taps her mouth with a pressed white napkin.
the restaurant that you had chosen was more on the fancier side, where even the water was poured out of chilled glass bottles. ornate chandeliers hung from the ceiling, and beautiful arrangements of flowers adorned all the tables. both of you girls were dressed to the nines in fancy clothing and jewelry.
pierre and esteban sat face to face next to you both, looking out of place in more casual-type wear. they obviously looked like they didn't want to be there.
your boyfriend shoves an escargot into his mouth, all the while glaring at esteban.
you and esteban's girlfriend purposely ignore them both, continuing your conversation and sharing the latest tea.
mid-conversation, you see esteban softly start to tip his water glass in the direction of pierre. without missing a beat, his girlfriend snatches the water glass before it tips.
"esteban!" she chastises, softly placing the still-full glass away from her boyfriend. "i know you did that on purpose! if you do that again, i am returning those marvel funko pops i got you."
he huffs, crossing his arms, but stops trying to tip anymore glasses over. your boyfriend smugly smiles at his teammate.
the waiter comes by, offering some dessert options, including crème brûlée and profiteroles.
while enjoying some of the cream puffs, you see pierre reach out his hand out of the corner of your eye. it inches towards esteban's knee, ready to pinch him. you softly slap pierre's hand before it reaches its target. he jerks back, probably surprised you caught him when he was trying to be so secretive.
it is like talking to a child who doesn't listen. "keep your hands to yourself, pierre," you snap, shaking your head.
your boyfriend points at esteban, eyebrows furrowed. "he started it! he literally flicked me first- you just didn't see it!"
esteban furiously shakes his head. "i did not! he's lying!" he nudges his girlfriend, who looks annoyed at the scene playing out in front of her. "tell your bestie that pierre is lying!" he exclaims.
you and esteban's girlfriend exchange looks of pure exhaustion.
Tumblr media
several days later, you find yourself in esteban's girlfriend's company again. you both are snuggled on the couch with a movie playing. a bowl of fresh popped popcorn sits between you both, its scent filling your apartment.
suddenly, your phone explodes with texts. the girl next to you glances over, concerned.
"umm... is everything okay?" she asks, pausing the movie.
you flip over your phone, only to find 15 messages and 3 missed calls from pierre. clicking through your phone, you select the contact labeled "pierre 💋"
your boyfriend's voice echos out of the speakers rapidly. "whatareyoudoingwhydidyoupostthatpictureonline???"
"huh?" you say, amused. "what did you say?"
esteban's girlfriend covers her giggles with a hand in front of her mouth.
"i said, why did you post that picture online?? my girlfriend cannot be seen fraternizing with the enemy's girlfriend!"
"ohhh!!!" you exclaim, realization dawning. you and esteban's girlfriend had a little photoshoot before starting the movie, with you posing in your snake form curled protectively around your bestie's flying squirrel shapeshift form. "baby, she is not an enemy!! if you guys would just get over your feud, you would probably see that esteban is a nice person like he was back when you were kids!"
a pause comes from the other side of the phone. pierre lets out a long exhale, thinking about it.
"no!" he finally decides.

You're my Forever.
Tumblr media
➡ Receiver: Kenma
➡ Letter type:Angst
➡Note from messenger: I couldn't find an angst for Kenma that had something like this, though that's probably been done and written by the time I eventually post this so oop.
➡ Fake lovers to real lovers, proposal, drunk confessions, car accident, major character death, depression, mentions of drinking before driving, anxiety, break downs, profanities, accusations of infidelity, arguments, insecurities, jealousy stressing both parties for different reasons. Hints of Kenma going into a coma.
Kenma swore to himself, he'd never hurt you and that he'd protect you.
That was the promise he made when he proposed to you, it was so perfect. The night was beautiful, the water sparkling as it reflected the moonlight and illuminated his kneeling silhouette. The cheers from yours and his friends as you said yes with tears in your eyes and mascara starting to run down your soft cheeks.
Remembered how tight he hugged you as he chanted 'I love you' s to you on repeat as he felt himself finally shaking, coming down from the adrenaline; secretly afraid that you'd reject him beforehand and relieved that you were willing to spend eternity and have someone like him to be your partner, a potential father perhaps be one a grandparent with you by his side. Being so sickinigly sweet that the kids would gag at how loving you two were—grow old and die peacefully together.
You were his first for everything.
First kiss, first romantic love, first time, first anything.Truth be told, he probably would've stayed single if it wasn't for you asking for his hand in marriage jokingly in one of his reunions, and drunkly said yes to your proposal—which mind you, Kuroo had caught on camera and accidentally posted in their public account.A relationship that was once fake that turned to reality. A cliché, yes, but a miracle to him nonetheless.A miracle that unfortunately, ends too soon.
Like any relationships, problems arose. Those problems in your relationships included his job, his health and the ugly green thing growing it's head... Jealousy.
At first, it was the little "maybe later" or the "hang on, I'm busy". Then it was the "a friend asked me to record with them today, so maybe not" and "Oh yeah, I'm collabing with a friend so you can go without me"A friend?
It's happening too often, and you didn't want to be a your fiancé. How could you? You two are supposed to trust each other. So you asked occasionally. When you two sat down for food, or sat to watch a movie or played a game. Maybe it was when you two were in the car or perhaps in a restaurant out on a date.
To him, you asked too much and looked into things too much— he thought you knew he kept his job seperate. To you, you were scared—scared that he no longer loved you anymore and that the friend he played... One of them could be...
Of course, he got offended. How could he not? Are you doubting his loyalty? His feelings? His promise?
『"Do you not trust me?" He furrowed his brows, a frown settling on his lips.
"I do... It's just that I... I'm just curious. Nothing much you know?" You gave him a shaky, tense smile as you averted his eyes.』
It didn't help that when he held a 24hr stream with said friend, he had made it clear not to be disturbed leaving you to sleep and eat alone.
Lonely.
Without him by your side. So he bud you goodnight and collected his food and drinks for the stream.
The queensized bed no longer feeling comfortable to sleep in, the room freezing up his side of the bed whilst you were forced to hid under the covers while you bit your lips and cried. Insecurities plaguing your mind as you shivered and curled up into a ball. The light in his gaming room didn't help with your struggle as you heard him occasionally laugh and chuckle—something you noticed he hadn't been able to do with you.
Whimpering to yourself, you opened your phone before squinting at the uv light attacking your eyes. Your fingers finding their way to Shoyo, a friend you met Kenma through and someone who played a big role in how you two got together.
You messaged him, not expecting a response on the middle of the night—ding!—nevermind. Shoyo, being the remarkable sunshine that he was, never failed to put a smile on your face and erase the rearing head of the ugly thing in your heart as you chuckled to yourself lightly at a ridiculous hermit meme he sent alongside bloodshot eyes of a drunk Hinata playing (more like failing) volleyball whilst a drunk Kageyama served a ball to his face. Something about how it had been awhile so the two were catching up...
You never ended up sleeping enough so you groggily made your way to the kitchen only to start having an attack as you sobbed on the floor.
Kenma, being the attentive partner that he was, immediately dropped his things to bolt to your sunken form. The feeling of his smooth hands wiping your tears and shushing you as he pressed your body against his in worry.
He was a softhearted partner, willing to do all the work if it meant you were home safe and sound.
Imagine to your surprise that when you asked him the questions again, both a little tipsy, that he told you how you were getting on his nerves and how you overthink too much. Eventually leading to the both of you screaming and shouting at each other—furiously.
『"Oh for heavens sake, not this again. Didn't I tell you that were just coworkers? How many times do I need to repeat myself. Fuck, stop bringing that up! "
"Kenma relax, I'm just asking. You know how I feel about them."
"Please for the love of God, can we NOT talk about it here? I'm tired. I just want to sleep."
"You're always tired, busy. You never spend anytime with me anymore. You don't even sleep on the bed, it's always on your desk. I'm just worried!"
"Well I don't need you to be. Just worry about yourself—" 』
You failed to notice the motorbike speeding past the green light as Kenma tried to scream before the car slams into a pole and your head hits the wheel—Kenma's into the window. His last memory of you was the blood dripping down your head before blacking out.
『... Beep... 』
Next thing Kenma knew, he hears his heart monitor beeping. A few sounds of movement hidden behind his closed lashes. Sounds of his name slowly entering his somewhat disfunctional hearing—could that be you?
His eyes struggle to open themselves, hissing at the bright light as he was desperate to know of your condition.
Kuroo, his best friend since childhood and Hinata, best friend since high school.
Both had tired, exhausted faces; Uncharacteristically of them. Red eyes, tear stained cheeks, dark eye bags and messy outfits. Kuroo looked like he ran out of an important meeting and Hinata looked like he ran out after a game.
『"... name...? His hoarse voice managed to squeak. Eyes struggling to stay open. 』
Hinata let out a broken sob at the mention of your name, he bit his lip as he started crying again. He apologises over and over again. Kuroo had shushed Hinata as his eyes scanned Kenma's shaking lips.
『"K-kenma, kenma, oh god. I-I'm so sorry. I'm so so so sorry—"』
It seemed like he knew.
His gold eyes, eyes that you had complimented so many times, glossed over as a tear slips out before he shuts his eyes again.
Falling into a deep slumber.
Now there's no forever.

| 3am Calls |
Alex Quackity x Reader, Oneshot!
Word Count: 1700
Warnings: None! Just some fluff.
Summary: Unable to fall asleep, you reach out to a friend in order to help ease you into peaceful slumber.
The seconds are passing quickly, 1am turns to 2am, and it doesn't take long for 3am to hit. Stirring around in bed doesn't make the restlessness stop, the little sheeps jumping around your head fall and get back up, attempting once again to lure you to sleep, but it doesn't work. You find yourself staring up at your ceiling, hands resting on your stomach. There is a stinging in your eyes that lets you know you are indeed tired, yet when your eyes finally close, they can't seem to stay that way. These restless nights had been going on for a while, yet you didn't want to be a bother and reach out to any of your friends. Who knew if they were either sleeping or had better things to do. You wouldn't be finding out any time soon. But.. perhaps tonight it wouldn't hurt to reach out. You felt lonely just staring up at your ceiling, and your own thoughts were eating up at you, making the restlessness feel even worse.
You reach out for your phone, turning it on and immediately being blinded by the bright light. Once your eyes became accustomed to the light, you opened messages and took a glance at all the people you had sent some to. A certain someone definitely caught your eye, but you really weren't sure if he'd be up, considering some days he'd wake up super early. He was a busy man, and fitting into his schedule could be a bit difficult. After some thought and the skin of your bottom lip slowly being bitten off, there was a single message sent.
y/n
hi
It was too late to consider his possible sleeping state or the embarrassment that might overtake you in the morning when you get a text with something along the lines of "i was asleep. sorry". You run a hand down your face, deciding to accept your fate and that your luck ran out. Perhaps you'd go back to counting sheep.
alex ((:
hi
The notification casted a bright light on your face, but this time it was welcome. Your finger quickly clicked on it, taking you to the message app.
y/n
did i wake you up by any chance?
alex ((:
i was editing a video, dw
why are you up?
"i don't know." you said out loud as you read the message. "i really don't know.." a small frown appeared on your lips as you texted back:
y/n
can't sleep
alex ((: ahh, is that where i come in?
y/n perhaps.. if you don't mind ofc
alex ((: call me
The message caught you by surprise. Of course you had talked to him on the phone before, but never this late. Never without it being planned beforehand. Never this sudden. Not because you couldn't sleep. Millions of thoughts rushed through your head as you stared at the message. call me. How could one possibly say no to that?
You cleared your throat before pressing on his contact and clicking on the call button. Soon enough, the sound of ringing could be heard, and you held your breath. Of course, he would answer, but you couldn't help the nervous feeling of talking to him this late, and just.. randomly.
"hello?"
Your breath hitched slightly at the sudden halt of the ringing, and the smooth sound of his voice. It didn't sound like it usually did. His voice wasn't full of energy, like it is when he's screaming at his screen or joking around with friends. It was calm, and sounded like he was a bit tired. Who could blame him? He was up editing at 3 in the morning. And here you were, making him talk on the phone rather than encouraging he get some sleep.
"Hi.." you said as a small smile formed on your lips at the thought of how hardworking this man was. "How's the editing going?"
"Mm.. it's going pretty well. I'll probably upload it by tomorrow. I'm planning on just working on it for a bit more before heading to bed." He stated, to which you let out a small hum, "That's good. It's important that you get your rest."
Now it was his turn to let out a small hum of approval. "What's keeping you up?" He asked. You closed your eyes, letting his voice ring and echo inside your head, letting the calmness his voice carried take over you, making you feel calm as well. "To be honest, I don't know. Whenever I close my eyes I just can't seem to doze off."
"Well, do you wanna keep me company while I finish editing? We can talk about random stuff until I bore you enough for you to knock out."
His words made you let out a small chuckle, shaking your head before realizing he couldn't see you. "You could never bore me." You admitted, thinking about his previous words for a few seconds. "That sounds good, actually. If you don't mind.."
"I offered it, didn't I?"
You hum in response. "True.. its settled then."
He let out a small chuckle in response, and the sound alone made you smile. You took a moment to really think about what was happening. You'd keep each other company until either he finished or his soft voice lulled you to sleep, and you'd talk about random stuff. It was a sweet deal.
As you lay in bed, you could hear the clicking sounds his keyboard made when he typed or when he'd move his mouse around while editing the clips. During small moments of peaceful silence, you could hear his steady breathing or light humming.
You'd asked how his day was and listened as he talked about how busy he'd been lately, some of the stuff he had planned for the upcoming month, and how his hard work would let him relax for a few days.. soon. Just hearing how hard he was working and how genuinely excited he sounded about everything he talked about made a warm feeling appear on your chest.
You gave small comments here and there, asking if he could expand on certain projects that caught your attention, as well as asking how he was keeping up with school work. He gladly answered all your questions, but always made sure to ask, "What about you?"
You hadn't noticed that it was mostly him talking, besides your occasional comment. You were just happy to listen to him speak so passionately about everything he did, and to be completely honest, the calm tone in his voice was also making you feel sleepy.
But you'd never deny that it made you feel so.. included. Yes, this was a 1 on 1 call but he always managed to make you feel like your inputs mattered just as much as everyone else's. It was one of his qualities that you adored wholeheartedly.
It could be during a stream, a group call, or even group chat. He always made sure that everybody felt included. He was just that sweet.
So even if you were now half asleep, you always made sure to respond and also tell him how your day went and what you had been up to. It was nice just being able to talk about simple things like that with him so late.
"I think I'm gonna stop editing for tonight. Just have a few things left but fuck, my eyes are killing me." He finally stated after a questionable discussion.
"As you should. You work too hard.. give your eyes a well deserved rest." You said, slightly rubbing at your eyes. The faint sound of shuffling and a few clicks could be heard, presumably him turning off his PC and heading to his bed.
A few more shuffling sounds could be heard before he spoke again. "I know. Thank you, Y/N. You always remind me how important it is that I take care of myself." The smile was evident in his voice, and he sounded way closer than before.
"Of course.. that's what I'm here for."
"I'll remind you too. Don't worry."
"Thank you, Alex." Small pause. "Are you gonna head to bed now?" You looked at how long the call had been going for and realized it had been well over an hour, making your eyes widen slightly.
"I could. Orrrr I could keep talking to you."
"You could.. but you should also head to bed and-"
"I'm already in bed. Got my blankets covering me and everything. Tucked in."
"Did you tuck yourself in? I should do it for you next time." You joked, before realizing you might have overstepped some boundaries. You froze as the call remained silent for a bit.
"Maybe you should– But you're not really down."
Your body relaxed as you realized his response had the same joking tone as yours did, and that it was okay to joke around about this stuff. You let out a small scoff.
"I'm not down? I will gladly go tuck you in. Just send your location and I'll be there in 5 minutes."
His voice had gotten raspy, quieter, and even more soothing if even possible. Each of his responses seemed to calm you more and more with each passing second.
"Well I'm already tucked in so you missed out on that opportunity." He boldly stated.
"We could tuck each other in next time." You said with a smile on your lips, and that earned a small chuckle from him. "Maybe." He hummed in response.
You felt so elated at that moment. You'd had a wonderful conversation with Alex, and he'd managed to make you feel more relaxed. At that moment, you found your eyelids fluttering shut, and at last they didn't force themselves open again.
Alex had been trying to get comfy himself while you were falling asleep. When he realized the silence had gone on for too long, he listened closely for any sound coming from you, and was only met with steady breaths.
"Y/N..?" He asked, quietly this time. Nothing. He let out a small hum, a small smile on his lips at the realization that you had fallen asleep. "Goodnight, Y/N."

Collins had found the picture almost instantly, the brunette hair standing out against glimpses of her own red. Her chest ached as she stared at it, too numb to see when it was taken. The fear that it had not been very long ago at all froze her. She was unable to open it, lest her fears be confirmed.
When the door opened, Collins barely heard it. It was probably James, and she probably had enough time to drop his phone and act innocent. But the longer she stared at the phone, the more anger roiled in her stomach. Every tiny discrepancy in James' stories, his explanations, his answers to all her questions in the past few days rose to the surface. Sneaking through her window dressed up after being out all night, the brunette at the fair knowing him by name. Him not getting jealous around Al.
James was a liar.
She let her hands fall when he snatched his phone back from her and watched him eye it, seeing what else she had done. If she was smart, she would have just sent herself some money and been done with it- with him. Find what you were looking for? Oh yes, Collins thought. She did. Collins thought about Taylor, then, about the high school foolishness she put up with. How many times had she let herself be ridiculed and made a fool of by James, without her even knowing?
Standing up slowly, Collins sighed. "Unfortunately, no, I didn't." She began. Even though she wanted to yell and scream, Collins knew Veronica had worked up the balls to ask Damian home from the voices in the livingroom, or she'd had the balls to say yes to him asking, and kept quiet for her friend's sake. And she wasn't ready to hear 'I told you so'. So Collins walked towards James and reached around him to lock the door, incase Damian did get curious.
" I was hoping to find an excuse to put up with your lies longer than I already have, but I only found even more. What is it? Am I just-" she paused, blinking hard against the burning in her eyes. Collins didn't want to face the truth, the truth Olly and everyone in her home town had thrown in her face. "Am I just not good enough for you? Am I just the dumbass who sticks around to feel wanted by someone, when they don't even give a shit about her?'" She finished, voice cracking. Her face remained still, mouth drawn in a thin line. At her sides, her hands clenched into tight enough fists they shook still.
-
The east coast was leaps and bounds different than the west. As she crossed the Mississippi river, her van even stopped fighting the heat and quieted it's air conditioning roar. She'd kept her windows rolled down from that point until she passed the Selcouth welcome sign, where she rolled them up so just a couple inches let in the cool breeze.
It was pleasant, especially as the suburban outskirts burst into a beautiful city skyline. The difference between it and a California outline were remarkable. She noticed the buildings seemed older, yet had an air of elegance and class her neighborhood back west couldn't have ever encapsulated. Janey found herself in love instantly and smiled, tapping her fingers on the steering wheel to the beat of her music.
Collins and Veronica had the right idea of hiding out here.
She'd received a call from the former a couple weeks beforehand, lamenting once again over her tattooed ex. Janey remembered the brute from high school well but they weren't exactly happy ones- especially when they revolved around mostly comforting Collins with Veronica. To each their own, though. Maybe he had phenomenal game in bed. That could be enough to keep a girl around despite the dramatics. Collins had not asked Janey to come straight away, not until he'd shown back up. Even then Janey decided to pack her stuff up on her own accord, cancel her few upcoming gigs and stock up on water and snacks for the drive.
It took two days to travel, including her stop to sleep overnight. She'd hopped to arrive earlier in the day than she did, but the moon was the first thing to greet her on the sleepy streets. Janey wasn't even sure where Collins and Veronica lived- she'd intended on surprising them when they were awake with a phone call. There had to be RV spots somewhere she could bed down in for the night, perhaps closer to the wooded area she saw peeking through the buildings she was headed too.
Janey flicked her blinker on and began to urge her van to climb up the winding road towards the trees. Her eyes were struggling to see any details in the dark, especially since she'd lost her glasses before the long drive. Avoiding accidents was solely up to whatever being sat up in the sky until she could find a place to get new ones.
As she kept driving, she didn't find anywhere for glasses, but she did manage to spot the sign for a psychologist. Janey let out an appreciative noise- that was something else she needed. And unless her eyes were deceiving her, she thought she saw the glimmer of lights coming through the windows of a house that sat further back. "Perfect," she murmured, turing the wheel. Janey didn't immediately notice the difference in how her van felt, because it quite often felt weird, but when the squelch of mud floated through her windows, she slammed on her breaks.
Something clattered down in the back of her van and she cursed. It sounded like it had broken. Janey unbuckled herself and pushed the curtain behind her seat to the side before she plugged in the fairy lights that lit up the back of her van. In the floor, several of her coffee mugs were shattered on the one tiny space not covered by a rug. "Oh, of course that's how you want to play this, Tilly," she groaned, shaking her head with a breath.
