Erik Kondo has made a website, Open Source Innovations, that details plans for DIY wheelchairs. These wheelchairs can be made from common materials like wood, plastic, and pvc. They are lightweight and can be custom fit to the user allowing from the same degree of movement you would get from a custom chair. And they are durable and easily repairable. (he has been stress testing his latest design by dropping it down stairs, dropping it out of a car, launching it across a driveway, and throwing it off a deck). Its 12lbs and I think he said its was in the $200 ish range for parts.

He also is working on cheap, open source, accessible designs for beach chairs, off road chairs, motorized attachments (think smart drive), and so on. Plus he skateboards in his wheelchair. Cool dude, helpful info, pass it on.

Hua Cheng wakes up in the arms of an angel. Sunlight streams in and illuminates the face of his savior, his prince, his god. He smiles down at Hua Cheng as he opens his eye.

‘Oh god, your devoted believer would do anything to protect this sight if only he is allowed to see it every day,’ Hua Cheng prays.

Out loud, he says, “Good morning, Dianxia,” and relishes in the indulgent, sleepy smile he gets in return. Still half asleep, wanting to indulge in the warmth of his bed next to his god for just a little bit longer, he leans forward to kiss his beloved. 

His lips meet cold stone.

The illusion fades away as the cold shocks his system. The face of his beloved is one that he carved himself, the morning sunlight merely the remnants of the fire he built last night to keep himself warm. Whether or not it actually is morning is impossible to tell in the caves of Mount Tonglu, but it’s nice sometimes to indulge in a fantasy.

‘Someday, Dianxia, this servant will make sure you wake up every morning warm and happy,’ he promises. He gives the statue one last tender kiss, then leaves it behind as he prepares to fight another day.

I'm translating the entire TGCF audio drama!!

🌸 Hello everyone! ~ ♡

I'm pretty new to the community but completely fell into the TGCF hole. This is gonna be a pretty big ongoing project for me: 1) To share the wonderful work and story that is TGCF 2) To improve my Chinese along the way, so my TLs will have Chinese subs, as well as English 3) Contribute a lil something to the community 🦋

I've previously asked on Reddit to see if this would even be something people wanted, as it's been a while since the first EP uploaded, but I still can't find any comprehensive catalogue that has all the episodes available. And now that the production team has finished S2, I will have plenty of time to work on the EPs before S3 comes :>
