wonwoo thinks he's in love with the way you are. his greatest pleasure in life is knowing how much of a book lover you are, a twin flame to him. whether its the twinkle in your eyes when you're particularly engrossed or the long rants you go on after a particularly rough read, he thinks he's going to fall in love with you all over again if stay this passionate throughout life.
but his favorite thing is being a step ahead of you. he pushes novels into your hands sometimes, just to see your reactions to story beats he already knows are coming. this time, it's a crime novel. and this time, you're deeply invested in it, nearing the end.
the two of you are like cats, if he's honest. while you have your date nights out as any couple, he loves the nights the two of you spend together. he sits, curled up at one end of the couch. you're at the dinner table (you have this odd habit where you move about the apartment as you read, settling into different places so often. you told him once it's because you get restless if you stay in one spot for too long), having left the other end of the couch maybe half an hour ago when you paused to get water. the empty glass is set next to you, and wonwoo keeps stealing little looks to see when you'll hit the part.
and when you do, he hears the way you audibly gasp. you're a quiet reader most of the time, only ever gasping at twists when they really hit you or giggling at the silliest little things in other books. usually, all he needs to read you is your expressions as you read. but that gasp? it's magical. it causes him to smile, looking up from his own book to watch you lovingly for a few moments. you'll talk about the book when you're finished with it (no doubt it'll be tonight). he just needs to savor this moment as he falls in love with you all over again.
