but he doesn’t believe that so he’s just going to keep being sarcastic to cover up for the fact that he doesnt think any of this had almost anything to do with him and everthing to do with peter

bc he has no concept of his own self-worth and yet to contrast that he directly inflates it and is so used to ppl disregarding it and accusing him of having an ego that even in this moment when he does something really amazing he makes it about his fake-ass ego and doesn’t let anyone actually give him credit for anything bc he is too busy giving himself fake-credit that he uses as an excuse in every other scene to call himself a piece of shit,,, that other ppl use to call him that bc ppl cant see through it bc he doesnt actually WANT anyone looking too closely, and yet, in this scene, he seems to be using it to exempt peter from actually acknowledging what he did was good bc hahaha im a self-congratulatory egomaniac

Spoilers! SPOILERS EVERYWHERE!!!

SO! Here we are. Day five of the Post Infinity War era! And I still can't think of anything else! 

WHAT A RIDE! What an epic masterpiece! I'm still reeling here and I cannot wait to see it again! THE MUSIC WAS INSANELY GOOD!!! It took my breath away, and didn't give it back for those 149 minutes!!!

There will be SPOILERS galore in here so proceed with caution if you haven’t seen!  IF you have and want to read my ramble along... Go ahead!!! 

Yes, you have to know the previous films, and it def required that you've seen them all multiple times (yet you still get a tad confused for a second every now and then). You probably won't enjoy it as much if you don't have previous knowledge. (Sis liked it but yeah, was confused more often than not so...)

But bashing it because of that: YOUR OWN FREAKING PROBLEM! This film was made with exactly that goal - it's a continuous universe. We don't have to establish things again, we KNOW everything we need to know! Those who complain about that just haven't understand that (Sorry bout the rant: I've seen too many folk complaining about exactly that!)

Let's move on. I loved it. Loved every single second of this film. And will defend it (and the next one) to the end of times!!! (My teeny tiny irks were Starlord and his humour, it felt off a bit here and there but I have the feeling he'll redeem himself in the next one. Some lines felt a bit thrown together and out of place but they can be overlooked.) 

That's another thing: you can't really judge this film on its own, not with being part of something so much bigger (apparently that IS possible what with Avengers 4 aiming for exactly that, I'm sure).

Besides that, the humour was EXCELLENT (mostly Tony/Strange/Spidey cause FUCK YEAH, gimme these three at all times!) and I LOVE how they put quite a bit into the beginning to help through the ending!) (And is it just me or was RDJ in TOP FORM for this one!? I mean, he’s great at any given time but it feels like he’s putting so  much more into it!) 

What else? There was soo much going on at any time, those 149 minutes felt like 5!!! I was actually surprised when it ended. And as much as it pains me to admit this: I did NOT realize what was happening after 'The Snap' for at least 2 minutes! *hangs head* I was soo caught up in everything happening, I didn't understand. (It didn't help to see it a second and third time; actually it made it even more painful cause you know what will happen. And it HURTS!)

Every single one of them was painful to watch but for ME personally Spidey was the worst - and that was probably intended, what with him being how he is, the youngest, the cutest, yet pretty much knowing what he’s doing, and then FEELING what was happening (saw so many theories out there already, and they’re all too fucking painful to even think about!)  They ripped my heart out with that scene,  rolled it in glass and put it back until next year!  His face, his clinging to Tony, his plea (whoever is the Who fan who put THAT reference in there is a mad, sadistic genius!) - I will NEVER EVER recover from that!! And Tony's reaction after - UGH! I cannot think about that without tearing up!!! That was beautifully played and so fucking intense - I wished they'd give awards to films like this, those two deserve them all!!! (And now reading that Tom actually fucking IMPROVISED that scene?? MINDBLOWN!! That kid is such a great actor at such a young age! GUH!)

Groot was the one the cinema took the hardest - everyone gasped in shock! Also: Bucky's 'Steve?' was very painful to hear!!! *shakes fist at the Russos* You're going to get a lot of therapy bills!) Loki was hard, as was Heimdall (although that one I was expeceting in the last 'Thor' already so that wasn't a surprise), especially this early into the film! What got to me the most: tears in the eyes of the God of Mischief! He does love his brother, don't tell me otherwise (and he's the only one left who can be considered family so... GUH!)

TONY! God, my sweet darlin’ man, coming sooo far (I still think Tony had the BEST and MOST growth in character of any character in the MCU. But I'm also biased, I've been an Iron Man girl from day one!) There's a shitload of essays one could write about Tony's state of mind but I'll leave that to others - I just love the man, and I firmly believe he's the best of them all. Calling Pepper ‘honey’ - my heart just about burst! He KNEW what he was doing to her, we’ve been there before, and his face and his voice say he KNOWS he’s not coming back. So yeah... 

Speaking of Iron Man - him and Strange are heaven!!! The banter, the sass, the goatees! It was just as perfect as I had hoped ever since I knew they'd be in the same film(s) together!!! I love these two!!! Also: Casual Strange had me squeaking with delight!! (SO HOT!) Benedict was INCREDIBLE (as usual), very happy to see that Strange played such a big role in all this, I did NOT expect that! 

And: NANOTECHSUIT-PORN!!! HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!! Iron Man's new suit?!?! I might have drooled a tiny (a LOT) bit!!! That was plain and simple PORN!!! SOO fucking sexy!! (and I do NOT mean RDJ/Tony, I do mean the SUIT!!)  Same goes for Spidey's new suit - that thing is GORGEOUS!!!  But yeah, the new Iron Man suit... The way it wraps itself around its owner - HNGNGNGNGNGH!!! I could watch THAT scene over and over and it’ll never be boring!! 

Oh, I didn't catch it in the first screening but Strange WINKS at Tony after whatever he did to quiet down the spaceship. (I’ve seen a shitload of gifs of that already and I WILL REBLOG ALL OF THEM!!)  And Tony can't help but smirk!! GUH! Those two, I swear! (AO3, you better stock up on servers, I’ll be there with bells and whistles! HGNGHG) 

What else, what else?!? OH! Speaking of my fav man, did Tony actually kept Cap’s phone charged for who knows how many years? He kept it on himself at all times? And every now and then he went and charged the damn thing?  Cause he had to, given that Bruce was able to call Cap!  So do not ever tell me again, Tony doesn’t care. The poor soul cares WAY TOO MUCH FOR EVERYONE and even more so about those he LOVES! 

Edit: I just found Audience Reaction Vids/audios and I’m in HEAVEN!!! I wanna watch the next one with people like that!!! SOO COOL!!  Although, I have to admit, the first and third viewing were my best; the first one was great, the second not so much, people kept talking (HOW DARE YOU!) and the third had at least a few enthusiastic folks!  But hey, I WILL take off days next year to exclusively watch it! Midnight screening, first screening in the evening and another the next day or so - I simply cannot go to work while something as EPIC as that one is going to happen!!! (And Germany FINALLY sees the potential in OV screenings right at the start - there were many this time around, and I’m sure there will be next year as well!) 

BATMAN!! Ah yes! At last  night’s screening, after the end credit scene, someone said (quite loudly) ‘Batman’ (probably (jokingly) as to WHO Fury is sending that message to) and I just broke! My friend and I couldn’t stop laughing for at least five minutes and everyone else around us was either staring and wondering whether we went mad, or were cackling along with us! It was hilarious (and a well needed tension release!) 

I'm terribly excited for Ant-Man and Captain Marvel now! (Also curious to see if they're going to put some small references into Agents Of SHIELD - they sometimes do, and something on such an epic scale shouldn't be ignored! And with half of humanity just vanished, they will notice that something went seriously wrong (but then again, the timelines are all over the place and messed up, so...))

I really hope they're going to give us something really satisfying for Avengers 4 cause I will not accept anything less than this epic first one - anything lazy or easy will not be acceptable! Give me something just as complex and interesting, as shocking and exciting as this one, then I’ll be happy to let some of my favs go (cause we all know it WILL happen - I’ve internally said my goodbyes to Tony, I can deal.. I think. I’m not sure because I’m pretty fucking sure it’ll be horribly painful but yeah... I can do this! He had quite the run, and as much as I love love love the man, I want him to go out with a fucking BANG (cause if anyone deserves it, it’s him!) And then I want him to retire to a far away sunny island with Pepper, have kids and raise them without fear of them having to live in a world that’s threatened at all times. I just want him to be happy!) 

Thankfully it’s only ONE year, with TWO more films to fill the gaps, so that’s basically tomorrow! *hehe* (Eh, I’m a Sherlockian, ��m used to waiting) 

So yeah, that’s it, my ramblings, not really in order but hey, my brain’s still rattling around, and I can’t really seem to concentrate on anything else. It’s been AGES since I had that so I’ll be reveling in it as long as I can!!!
