I will climb the sky and high five god personally if the Dark 5 Precure make some kind of appearance in Otona.

Besides being badass as fuck, they're heavily implied to be the inner dark sides and past selves of the Yes 5. And the Otona movie seems to be dealing with their struggle to reconcile their past selves with their current place in society.

What went WRONG with Otona Precure?

Now that it's been over for a while, what went wrong with Otona Precure? Between eight characters and mixed messaging, there's a lot to learn from this failure

Okay.

The "Yes 5 staff hates Komachi/Komanatts" is something I would say as a joke before.

Because it's ridiculous to think that an anime staff has something against a certain character (and it's not like there weren't references to Komanatts after the end of the series).

But how else am I supposed to react after what happened with Otona.

After they wasted more than half of the series reintroducing the whole cast of characters (and adding a bunch of shipping scenes, by the way).

But oh, conveniently, when it's time for the obligatory Komachi episode, they decide to focus on a random Futari wa character.

Also, Komachi and Natts have never had a decent interaction in the whole series. I'm not asking for them to get married, but come on.

I can't believe how baffling incompetent this whole situation is.

Finally watching Yes 5! Precure bc i keep hearing good gay things about Otona Precure and i want the Context. So far it's fun, I'm OBSESSED with Urara and the villains look SICK and everyone's voice acting is extremely good imo. However.

Just now i VERY BADLY misread this subtitle while looking away from the screen & ended up scrolling back very fast to make Absolutely sure Cure Mint hadn't just said "The earth tremors of a young girl's anger... Fuck off!"

That's it she's the Fuck Off cure to me forever now. I may edit this caption and use it as a reaction image. I love her we have a bond now (the bond is Quiet Green nerdpeople with disaster ponytails /pos)

Finally watching Yes 5 precure I've been liking so far. The only thing I don't like is the start of precure x adult fairy ships, what makes it worser that the fandom deny that they are adults when clearly they have jobs, like literally one is a teacher and the other to shop owner you guys really don't think that's gross and concerning that the writers put this in children's anime
