Had my heart massively broken and also a lot of old trauma dug up by seeing this post today
#like#yep. I too have been constantly reminded throughout my life of my relative value compared to my brothers and the cis men in my life#I was last blatantly rejected from a ‘boys only’ thing I really wanted to participate in when I was 24#had tons of other times where I was shown I wasn’t wanted or didn’t matter because I wasn’t a cis guy and I’d never fit in#still struggle to feel like I’m ever wanted or belong anywhere with anyone#also my mother makes it beyond obvious that she prefers my brothers and my dad hates that I’m not the daughter he wanted
