Which is a given since you're her child.

But you two are very similar.

You're a natural born warrior, always wanting to fight and get right into the action like she did as a child.

She taught you patience and how to fight just like her aunt and mother did.

You had a strong will and a lot of courage, so it was natural for her to ask you to take on the mantle.

Before she asked you, you were already fighting along side her.

And it honestly came as a shock when she told you that she wanted you to take over forever.

To you, your mom was the strongest person you knew and invincible so you never expected for her to retire.

But she told you it was time for the world to see a new Wonder Woman or in this case Wonder Man.

It was an incredible honor to have her hand you the lasso of truth and you promised not to let her down.

She told you that there was no way you could ever let her down.

Knowing your mother was proud of you made you want to do your best.

You were asked to join the justice league but you declined you didn't want to join until you were ready.

You also wanted time to really make the mantle your own.

Instead of just being Wonder Womans replacement.

Being her son your powers were very similar, but you also had your own tricks up your sleeve.

Your style of fighting was different, while hers was more about agility, using her surroundings and weapons to her advantage you were more head on, using your strength to aid you.

You make great use of the bracelets as well as the lasso. They help serve as a reminder that your mother is watching you.

It was strange taking over for your mother after watching her fight for so long, but you both knew you were going to do a great job.

Imagine during those years Norman left his family to search the missing Rayquaza, Ruby and his mother lived in Kalos for a while and Ruby met their distant relative Diantha (of his mother’s side) aka the new Champion of the region. Ruby was inspired by Diantha and her Pokemon that he set a new goal of winning Pokemon Contests instead of participating in Pokemon battles.
