#yellow teamers and i who i've met since like to joke that playing yellow team is playing on hard mode

old post but i still want to share one of my favorite Instinct experiences:

it was probably back in 2018 and maybe one of my first chances to do a legendary raid battle, a battle which needs several accounts to succeed. fortunately, i was at a community center for Pokemon Go Community Day, and a raid spawned right at the end of the Community Day

i joined the legendary raid lobby, and it filled to 20 almost immediately. i hear a shout: "HEY! WHO'S THE ONE YELLOW TEAM PERSON?!"

i shout back, "THAT'S ME!"

a guy with maybe a dozen people in between us joyfully raises a fist and yells, "I NEVER SEE ANYONE ELSE ON YELLOW TEAM!! YELLOW TEEAAAAAM!"

Playing instinct in pokemon go years after its release is like being the one yellow island in a sea of blue. Seriously the only other players I've met are these trio of valor sisters. Havent seen another instinct in 6 months. Sometimes its just feels like me, my team (gigawatt the jolteon, inferna the flareon, riptide the vapereon, Lily the Venasaur, Copper the Steelix, and Inigo Montoya the Mew) and my companion sneasel vs the world. Is it a similiar expierence for you?

i got a lot of valor lads in my area (I live very near/work in a central business district so there’s a lot of players here) so i cant relate rip
