author note: no one asked for this but after stanning zb1 i decided to watch boys planet for the lore and now I need to get my thoughts off my chest. I'm also too lazy to talk about them all so ill only do the ones that stood out to me.

starting off strong with this banger

i was SEATED from beginning to end

genuinely one of my favorite performances out of all of them just because of how powerful and visually clean this group was on stage

the beat had me hooked from the start

phanbin's facial expressions left me in shock

this man's stage presence is so strong

didn't really notice him before this but now he has all my attention

i also think that his rapping has improved a lot since the start

and don't get me started on na kamden

honestly one of the only reasons why this isn't my all time favorite stage is just because of how much they focused on the dance aspect

like with people like yujin and zihao on the team, i can see why that might have been a conscious decision

but making everything so dance focused when it was a dance AND rap stage made it seem like something was lacking

my man kamden still slayed tho

the deep voice, the slight rasp, the flow control

puberty hit him hard and fast

genuinely thought he had the killing part for a hot second because that little leg kicky thing that he did?!?!? absolute gold.

he also ate up his little part of the dance break choreo

the way he was so proud when back koo-young praised his dance made my heart heal a little

on the other hand, the way mnet didn't post anything about wang zihao making the second part of the dance break!?!?!

like they gave him no screentime at all

but i also love how everyone was hyping him up in the comments and informing everyone that he choreographed some of the song

cause that man's krumping is not a joke

hes so talented and i hope more people listen to his solo works

i left yedam for last because he didn't really stand out to me in this performance :( even with the killing part

defo loved his raspy voice in the intro though i think i really tied everything together

as yunseo said i could feel the madness in his eyes and it was really impressive to say the least

i think he had the least impression just because of how strong his other teammates were

plus the cohesiveness of the whole performance made it hard to pick him out from the crowd

but as a whole it was a really amazing stage that felt super professional and it slowly became one of my favorites out of all boys planet performances.

before this performance he was one of my bias wreakers

now i have a feeling he's becoming my ult

he OWNED this stage hands down and I'm so glad that people agree with me

everyone's saying that this is the moment where his debut was secured and i honestly agree

i mean look into his sparkly passionate eyes and tell me that you don't absolutely adore him and think he's the most amazing, cute, talented, person ever

youngjoon saying he loved taerae's smile is my roman empire because SAME BESTIE, SAME

overall this performance didn't really speak to me when i first watched it because i've heard the original and that put my expectations SKY high (listen to infinite people)

but as i rewatched it and started really getting into it to it i got the hype

it also produced the iconic line

but moving on from my man

dongyeol really surprised me with his vocals

i feel like he really deserved more credit with how well he was supporting and the amount of emotion in his voice

his high note with taerae also made me feel something

mingyu being loud also made me laugh a little

i was also pleasantly surprised with his vocals considering how he sounded in that viral video of him practicing loudly

i think his improvement should be studied fr cause i think he added a sense of humor and amusement to the stage which i genuinely don't hate

woojin was the one who stood out the least to me which i predicted from the start

as sub vocalist 3 but main rapper i thought the rap would let him have his time to shine but personally mingyu stole the show

mnet also gave him like 3 whole seconds of exposure throughout the whole performance which may have been another reason why i felt he was the weakest of the 4

genuinely feel like that was a more broadcasting issue than a him issue though which makes me sad :(

overall a really sweet and cute stage that i would defo rewatch whenever i have the time

ya'll they're called aces for a reason because this performance ate the house DOWN

literally the second i saw hanbin, zhang hao, gunwook, and hui on the same team i knew it was over

also the way i didn't know hoe-taek was hui from pentagon was shameful (don't come for me pls)

i literally figured it out after i saw a tiktok saying that when he was singing tomboy he was singing his ex-girlfriends, ex-group's song(he dated soojin for the ppl that don't know)

the way i went into shock for a hot minute

anyways back to the performance

love love loved zhang hao's prechorus

i feel like it felt really rushed and emotional but in the best way possible

even with the sub vocalist 1 and sub rapper 1 positions (plus the fact that he didn't get the killing part) i think that he really got the most out of his lines and made the performance his own

the way they changed "why are you cranky boy" to "why are you cranky girl" kind of threw me off though

like let them embrace their inner twink mnet

censoring the chorus of the song also kind of disappointed me cause i felt that it made the song feel less powerful

but i already knew it was coming as bp is meant to be a "family friendly" broadcast (I'm say this in the most sarcastic way possible)

gunwooks rap tho...

the way it was stuck in my head for a solid week is probably really unhealthy but i don't care

TOO MANY PEOPLE, AND TOO MANY PROBLEMS, TOO MANY PROUDLY, AND TOO MANY cute~

on a side note can we appreciate their outfits because i was stunned from the second i saw them

it was giving alt rock fashion in the best way possible

will never get over that pink shirt on gunwook and hanbin's almost natural hair look

give those stylists a raise

the duet that hanbin and hui had while holding each other and making eye contact gave me the absolute chills

they were creating such a powerful atmosphere while also serving killer vocals

and hui's high note after all that left me shook bcs you're telling me this man sang all of that and still had the breath to go into a long, stable highnote!?!?

okay i promise this is the last thing im gonna talk about but the "its neither man nor woman" part left me REELING

the adlibs, the high note, the layering of vocals was all chefs kiss

that was the cherry on top to this whole performance and the second i heard that i knew they would win

every second of this stage was charged with passion and emotion and im living for it

in most of the personal rankings i've seen online this stage has come first

and honestly i get it

its such a refreshing change from all the other performances and it truly feels fun and enjoyable

like i love how every single person got to shine in their own way

the way park hyun been ate UP though

like when i first watched the performance i was so surprised because since when has he been this good at rapping!?!? maybe that's just me tho

him, haruto, and keita definitely carried the rapping for me

I love him sm he's actually such a cutie with his little hat

in fact unpopular opinion but i actually liked the stage aesthetics in general including the outfits

idk what it was but the neon green was hitting real hard (its the inner neo in me)

And the RAPPING oml i had to take a breather after he finished his rap because i was in SHOCK

one of the best self-made raps ive heard, and the flow is just so controled

i'm also in love with his rapping voice in general??? idk what it is but it makes me feel some type of way

defo one of the main stars for me, but i think you all saw that coming because look at him

ollie coming in with his little rap made me so happy cause he's genuinely such a cute

not as strong as the other rappers (and as sub rapper 3 i expected that) but he still made an impact in the performance which i love

now i've saved the best one for last

she's got a point, she's an icon, she's a legend, and she IS the moment

i can't even say his name properly anymore bcs of this

defo the highlight of this performance and one of the main reasons i love it

also the the way that no one was talking about wumuti's vocals?!?!?

his high note when he sang "lights camera action baby" should go into the history books fr

if i had to pick one trainee that owned this song i wouldn't be able to because of how well rounded everyone on this performance was

their teamwork and their overall fun natures just made this stage x10000 better

when i tell you i was SAT for the entirety of this performance you better believe it

the way this performance had so many iconic moments

but then i also remembered how cute he was when he was begging for the killing part and showing off his english to mathew in the behind scenes

like give his man a high five because he ate that up

iconic moment no.2 isn't even part of the performance but i can't leave this out because it's a cannon moment

best believe that my man gyuvin ate that up fr

he spoke the truth and only the truth

also his stage presence throughout the whole song was crazyyyyyyy

literally had to rewatch it again just to focus on him and his facial expressions

and the way that mathew and seo won carried the vocals made me so proud

it wasn't really a vocally powerful song and i feel like it had the same issue as law but instead of not enough emphasis on the rap it was the vocals

but they still tried their best and i think that they did stand out in some ways

now the OUTFITS i have to talk about

these stylists need a raise fr cause the way that the red suits fit the stage so well

but the way that they covered seo won and gyuvin's chest made me giggle a little

overall i would say that its defo not as polished as some of the other performances, but the overall concept and vibe suited all the trainees so much that the execution was bound to be amazing

these are just a few noteworthy moments from the performances i didn't talk about

i need to get this off my chest

cha woongki carried the feel special team on his back

they better have thanked all the gods above that gunwook kicked him out of his first pic otherwise that performance would have been so screwed

the way it felt like a whole solo song just for him because no one else wanted to sing :(

another thing i wanted to talk about was the limousine performance

the way i was shocked by how good it was

they trashed mnet, they ate, and then they left (literally)

i was gonna talk about it but i didn't have the time, so just know that it has a very special place in my heart

special mention number 3 goes to jongwoo

as a rapper being put in a VERY vocally difficult song like home, im so glad that he overcame the difficulties and placed 1st cause he deserves it

his facial expressions never fail to get me every time

i also think he's such an amazing leader and deserves credit for that

might be a little biased though cause he's one of my favorite boys planet trainees

! ranking songs from TREASURE’s 2nd full album ‘REBOOT’ because its almost 1 am where i live and im bored asf !

‘THE WAY TO (vocal unit)’ - honestly, 10/10. jaehyuk said in the comeback live that the song talked about the complications and stress of growing up and the vocals are HEAVENLY.

‘RUN’ - again, 10/10. song is calming, gives me a sense of freedom and peace yet kind of rebellious(??). absolutely LOVE Junghwan’s high note and honestly loved the song.

‘STUPID’ - like always, 10/10. yoshi is in his producer era and i am HERE for it. song is perfect and calming and again, TREASURE absolutely SLAYED this comeback.

‘I WANT YOUR LOVE’ - atp, this entire album is filled with 10/10 songs (my opinion).Doyoung’s part in the beginning is ICONIC. Love how Junkyu got to really shine a lot throughout the song.

‘MOVE (T5)’ - yk the drill, 10/10. Junkyu really worked hard producing this song and it paid off. The five members worked really hard for their fans and they deserve everything.

‘G.O.A.T (rap unit)’ - you alr know, 10/10. I thought VolKno was great and then BOOM. The rap unit dropping ANOTHER banger. Love the entire song, Yoshi’s voice really suits this song and i’m SO mind-blowned over this song.

‘BONA BONA’ - yep, 10/10. SO glad that this song is the title track because honestly, i love how this song shows off how much TREASURE has grown and matured. Love it.

‘B.O.M.B’ - not surprised, 10/10. love the beat of this song and love the concept of this song.

‘WONDERLAND’ - get used to it, 10/10. not my most listened track in this album but still love it.

‘LOVESICK’ - it’s obvious atp, 10/10. my least listened to song but absolutely LOVE IT.

Overall ranking - 10/10. All of these songs are my favorite. TREASURE did NOT lie when they said ‘REBOOT’. The album shows how far they’ve grown not only as a group, but as individual people. Yes, I still can’t get over Mashiho and Yedam’s departure from the group last year, but i’m glad they’re doing good on their own. A LOT of things have changed this year for TREASURE. The logo changed, the concept changed, everything changed.

(lowkey enjoyed doing this !! should i do this for other groups?? i’m DEFINITELY doing this for XIKERS and their new album.)

hi hi I'm the aspiring teume anon from earlier 🐇 hmm honestly I've just seen them around for so long and they seem so goofy (aka my fave thing abt groups) so I can't help but wanting to know them more.

I do think I have a few songs of them saved that I sometime listen to. lemme check- oh rightt I love darari and jikjin but that's basic of me and I do have boy as well that I listen to occasionally that I also like!

and ofc the thing that help me the most to get into a group is them just catching my eyes 👀👀 but yeah im not sure yet. usually I can guess my bias pretty fast just from looking at them but I'm not sure bc they're all cute 🥺 but maybe (definitely not for sure yes actually it is) hyunsuk and yoshi caught my eye a lil more (I remember esp when watching performance vids a few times).

hhhh who knew I have sm to say abt them, I would love to hear what/who u love most and also like if u have any recommendations like ur fave songs or vids of them (not necessarily what u think I'd like but what u like, I think for me seeing someone love their ults makes me fall hard for them too)

yaaay this is so exciting 🫶🏻 jikjin and darari are so valid i rly think that comeback got a lot of people's attention bc it was so strong! hyunsuk and yoshi are such a pair, i feel like if you bias one you kind of end up biasing the other 😂 they're both really soft and sweet but yoshi is also lowkey playful / an unexpected menace haha. this will be long so i'll put my ramblings under the cut 🤩

there is sooo much i love about trejo but i think a major thing is that i actually love their entire discography, like i do not think they have a single bad song. i'm mainly a b-side enthusiast (u, volkno, come to me, darari rock remix, be with me ...) but my favorite title has always been 'i love you' which is what initially got me into them; i saw the music video and it felt like it was tailored to my tastes with the bright colors, aesthetic sets and the more refreshing concept, they just looked like they were having so much fun. after that, it was over for me lol i watched everything i could get my hands on, including all of treasure map, which i always recommend to new teumes if you have time to just watch from the beginning because you really get to know them and see how much their relationships grow over time. but if i had to recommend just a couple episodes my favorite of all time is 30-31 it is PEAK treasure silly chaos. sadly, we did lose 2 members this last year but mashiho and yedam are back on instagram and working on their own projects so we're all just waiting to see what they'll do next, and supporting the group as a 10 piece!

i love that the members who are interested in it have opportunities to be part of the writing and production; and ones who aren't ready for that at the official album level still get chances to practice on their own. y/g may give me a headache 99% of the time but it's clear that they foster their idols as artists and i really appreciate that. asahi especially does a lot w this, he's behind 'orange' and 'thank you' ; and rap line also does quite a bit of writing, i rly think volkno is some of their absolute best work and you can hear how much influence they pull from iconic artists. treasure in particular is also first and foremost a performance team - so the focus was to have a balanced lineup that can really put on a show. hands down this group is top of 4th gen performancewise, their stage presence and command is INSANE especially given that they had a pandemic debut. i highly recommend checking out any of their end of year show stages if you haven't - even their early ones - but particularly 2022 mama , & their GDA performance is of all the songs you have saved !

as for my favorite members, i think everyone knows jaehyuk has my heart but actually my first treasure ult is jihoon 💖 i could talk about them for a zillion years so i won't go on that rant in this response lol but i do love all the members and i think what i really like about large groups (and why i keep ending up stanning them lol) is that you get to see a lot of different relationship dynamics, it's i think a lot harder to fake a 'we're all best friends' narrative in a big group and i appreciate that because i don't buy that all (or even most) groups are all best friends lol it's not realistic. i'd rather see a group that works well as a team and treasure is definitely that, they see themselves that way and you can tell by how they treat each other and work together that there's a ton of love and respect and yes, a lot of real friendships there. and they ARE goofy hehe. anyways ... i think that's a good start LOL i hope it is i really just kind of went into rant mode so i hope i didn't bore you and that you might find some helpful stuff in here 🥰
