okay. serious topic today.

so, i was in my art class,but I found out that I forgot the drawing I had to continue in class, so my professor told me that I could do everything but I had to stay quiet anyway. so I started to draw with my tablet. as soon as she saw me, she started to tell the class 'if you draw with that weird thing, don't make me see those drawings. I don't wanna see them.' and I was like 'okay????'

then, during the two hours, she kept saying these kind of things, 'digital art isn't valid, the real art are the classics'. then I really got mad. I started to yell at her (I know I shouldn't, but I couldn't hold my self) telling her that this is art. punk music was hated years ago, now is a cult. they couldn't understand picasso at the beginning of his career, now they love his art. she told me that I'm too young to talk, because she's painted for 36 years now and she can judge, but I can't.

she said that real painters don't draw with that thing, only designers. I really wanted to yell at her and tell her that she's just al old lady who doesn't want to understand the new generation. two days ago she took the class to an art gallery about modern art. I can't understand this kind of art, i dont like it, but I don't think its not valid, she should think about digital art like this. I cant believe I'm smarter than a 50 years old lady. now she wants to convince me to stop drawing digitally.

I tried to tell her that this is just a different technique, it's not wrost than any other art technique, but she didn't want to listen to me.

now I'm so angry and upset and just sad, I felt so invalid.

I'm sorry I lost my temper but I've felt so invalid about my art for many years now and I don't want to listen to a moron right now.
