Wild to me that Fanon!Macaque is like… always portrayed as on his knees, begging and crying and screaming for his Sworn Brothers to not go through with their siege, only to be essentially collared, leashed and dragged to a battle that he fought to waylay and abate, totally innocent and unwillingly forced to risk his life, praisingly marked as the “one brain cell/sober friend”.

When Canon!Macaque is literally just: “I dunno bro a six-man violent coup might not end well.”

Wukong: “Nah bro it’ll be fine.”
