I actually think ppl need to get over the narrative that horikoshi hates katsuki, wanted to punish him and has always loved and done justice towards that other ship -like nah, ppl are just being consumed by the idea dudebros pushed since the very beginning.

#grrr talking #lets ignore the whole death of the author thing -I think its clear he likes him???#if he wanted to make us hate him it was quite easy #ppl compare him to what the author of goku felt towards vegeta but thats not fair from my perspective #katsuki is shown to be caring deep inside and to always worry for izuku how tf are we supposed to hate him like that #yeah he is used as comedy relief shoto is too and mirio and deku and #its tricky to show his character when the whole manga team has to keep in mind his haters will not want to see him much #and still he is not shown as someone like endeavor for example but a character that just wants the best for izuku #out of genuine care
