one thing that seems to prevalent in almost any lestappen fanfic is that ferrari doesn't care about charles, and that fred especially is made to be this villain, and its just... maybe people just don't know because they weren't around in 2022, or maybe they just forgot, but things were bad in ferrari in 2022 to the point where charles threatened to leave because of the bad management--and ferrari scrambled to keep him. they fired binotto (the tp) and a bunch of the staff (like head strategist) because of charles, they got fred because he and charles were on good terms, the team is literally being build around charles.

i don't immediately dislike the fanfic if ferrari is the antagonist of the story (but some reason rbr isn't lmao), i just think it's strange that ferrari is always the big bad guy

#on the gourgeist post‚ when i clicked Add to queue‚ tumblr just Hung for a solid two minutes until i refreshed the page #and then i checked the queue and it was already queued up anyway. but the page reloaded all weird and looked like for a split second #some posts from my dash had entered the queue. so in lieu of this Being A Website‚ i'm gonna leave that post where it is and hope the queue #has not been contaminated #anyway i thought this thing was gen 8 because that was the first place i saw it. which is weird because i'm the big gen 6 proponent #but i guess i just never saw this one when i played pokémon X as a kid #inb4 someone is like. yeah it's pokémon Y exclusive. like what happened with spritzee #naw bulbapedia says it's not. i was just bad at video games i guess. or it's a rare spawn or something. or i just got unlucky #bergmite #however the pokédex entries seem to suggest it has gotten two (2) degrees warmer since generation 8 #from gen 6 to gen 8 the dex entries stated it used air of -150ºF #but now in gen 9 the dex entry states it's only -148ºF #climate change is affecting even the bergmite. what has this world come to

heard it's "make a terrible comic" day

Finally hit 10,000 hours this month after starting making comics full time 2.5 years ago

decided to play paper mario instead of making more comics today (I beat it)

#technically I do think that these hours are counted as long as photoshop is open #so really it's how long I've been at my computer. cause photoshop is always open #but...#well not actually always. Pepper passed away this morning. last night jose called me over while tending them; she was dehydrated, lethargic, wheezing, I'd played with her normally the day before. she's been slowing down with age, but this was a crash. we gave her water and heat support, i was planning to bring her in to work first thing this morning, but when we woke up she was gone in the same cozy position we left her in. i believe she just faded peacefully.

we're pretty devastated. she was 14, our first animal, we've had her almost half our lives. she was very much jose's baby. it really hit me when i carried her to my clinic and prepped her for cremation; that's a task i do frequently after euthanasia and it's become a kind of ritual, but carrying your own animal is just so different. I'm really sad.

#the timing is good and bad #we're leaving the country in a week and I'm so grateful she passed while we were still here #but it means Sophie is gonna be alone for a whole month..#we've brought up getting her a companion but she was bonded to pepper literally her whole life so it would be a long and-#-careful process. certainly not something we could arrange in a week.#I'm just gonna hang with her as much as possible #I've thought about losing one of them in the abstract and how weird it would be because they're such a fixture of our family #and yeah it fucking sucks #Sophie is asleep right now ofc but i wish i could hang with her #m2a #animal death #my pets #pepper was the most docile creature imaginable. I've never met a nicer chin. man
