the reputation of this fic is horrible due to the rampant misinformation that people spread about it

I joined after the au's peak so like at least half the art for this fucker is basically lost media now

None of my friends will sit down and read anything longer than like a couple thousand words. This is a LONG fic series.

Like one person still cares about it online at this point.

My parents are a little concerned about my mental health now. Seriously tho, its a FIC that makes you notice my mental health issues???

People who weren't in the Omori fandom from 2021-2022 completely missed how insane YBM/Pursuit AU was and the chokehold it had on the fandom. It was an actual point of discussion for a lot of big fans of the game because of how well-known the series was and I'm dead serious. When the final chapters of Pursuit were about to release there was a countdown on twitter, and when it came out it released alongside an ACTUAL ART PRINT OF THE CHARACTERS (I own one!). There was a tag specifically for spoilers so people had time to read and a place to ramble without spoiling anyone on the insane events that transpired in the endings. I'm not fucking kidding when I say there was a whole ass discord server dedicated to this shit

PURSUITSWAP/OMARI PURSUIT AU

uh so like this is gonna be incoherent. but. Pursuit au but it's the Omari timeline? If that even makes sense?

So Mari takes the place of Hero (Insidious bastard role)

Hero takes Kel's role (Looking for the one that's been taken)

Kel is in Sunny's role (Little sibling that gets kidnapped)

And Sunny is in Mari's role (Dead. Womp Womp.)

Basil and Aubrey can swap, cuz that's what happens in Omari usually.

Keith gets gender swapped, cuz theres no characters to swap with him lol (he's Mari's friend instead of Hero's this time).

Obviously the character relationships and motives will be different this time around. Maybe Omori swap with the hallucination Mari from the og? But like. Mari hallucinating with the motive I have for her seems kinda. Off? IDK the idea just popped into my head, I'm probably not gonna elaborate.

Day 109: Hey I know this is an ISAT blog but I need to be annoying about an Omori AU fic I like and this is where I'm talking about it because if there is a podium I've constructed then I must speak. The author of YBM/Pursuit AU was so real for making a series that not only built off of the game's original themes while also understanding the characters even under the circumstances of the AU but also took the cast and story in such a fun and unique direction that I genuinely think nobody else could hope to replicate. And they didn't even plan out the first fic's overall plot they just knew what they wanted to happen. I wish I was that powerful I'm so for real rn

IMPORTANT NOTE: I honestly have not read the fic in a while. Some of the things I'll say might not be completely accurate, but he's mentally unstable. It'll be in character if he lies.

This variant of Pursuit Hero is 1 year post-good ending where he has been arrested, then placed into a mental institution. He is a little ... Fucked in the head, and he definitely got worse overtime.
