4: movie of the year?

i ah... i dont watch many movies... i know ive been shown some good ones this year though. i think i watched the house that jack built this year? that might have been last year though... i also saw silence of the lambs i think? well. regardless i know i watched the utena movie for the 2nd time so that can be a solid answer at least LOL

13: how was your birthday this year?

it was good... we went to the arcade :] out of the friends i invited only one showed up and she is a very awkward person esp if shes not in a Familiar Group Setting so. It was a little weird. but thankfully arcade is good together and solitary and i just wanted to play pinball, jubeat, chunithm, groovecoaster, and popn music, plus they got a rhythm heaven machine :D however. i didnt have any of my Non Gamer entourage of girlies around so i had no one to hype me up when i sauce on the rhythm games :(

19: what are you excited about for the next year?

DUNMESH SEASON 2!!!!!!!!!!! also gta 6. I love gta. and summer. and doing more school (unironically). aaaandddd.. student loan money... planning on moving out alone with my husband or at least getting a different roommate (hes chill or whatever But so malignantly depressed that a. you have to ask him to clean. His own apartment. and b. when you do ask him he gets huffy and does it poorly. like bro i get you werent made to clean as a kid and no one around you did but i also wasnt made to clean and i am at least tryingggggggg fuckkkkkk)... also new music :) aaaaandddd getting to make more drawings....

Arisu isn't much of a movie person but they enjoy sitting down and discussing things with Tatsumi nonetheless, so he's the one picking what to watch for movie nights. I'd imagine both of them are hopelessly out of the loop regarding most must-watch classic films, so they'd be catching up on that!

For chap 4 its what it says on the tin but ill give you a lil snippet

Everything was silent, and that unnerved him immensely. Junior wasn’t that quiet, and from the bathroom came no chirps or trills from the mer. Grimm waited for a sound, anything really to alert him that the house did in fact have living beings in it. The silence was beginning to press on his head, the sound of it deafening his hearing until he could bear it no longer.

For Soledad Shit its basically any blurb that doesn’t yet fit into a chapter or will be inspo for a future chapter, and it’s mostly filled with Grimm and Hornet family bonding.

“What are you doing?” Hornet said as a deadpan expression morphed her usual hard set mouth to a frown.

“I!” Grimm started before he cursed under his breath as the fishing line tangled again, “Am fishing.”

Well, fishing was probably a generous statement. He hadn’t caught anything yet, nor had he successfully cast out the line further than a few feet away from the dock but he was trying.

He was trying and slowly getting more irritated at the fact that he was horrible at fishing.

As for the Chantilly wip! I actually forgor whats in there but sjfjks

3. favorite music artist/group you started listening to this year?

i'm a little embarrassed to admit this in front of Thirsty, but Grim Salvo (that spotify-only album band from back in summer). they first came to mind when i was making an oc playlist and i ended up jamming to the one song i picked for it for a couple months before going through the whole record, now it's in my very large (/s) roster of full albums to listen to when i need to focus 😅

8. game of the year?

do Lethal company and Hades 2 count even tho the former didn't come out in 2024 and the latter is still in early access? :D hopefully, because i haven't played anything else anyway. but these two are both bangers. with H2 i routinely forget i'm playing early access, it's kinda insane how vast, polished and balanced it already is. Lethal Company is just a ton of fun. From what i understand it went through some rebalancing recently which does seem to make it more fair, and i've never felt this invested in playing a game "properly" or i guess optimally before.

19. what are you excited about for next year?

i don't really have any plans because of the whole [vaguely gesturing at my dire financial situation]. more witcher 4 news i guess? more strays discord memes, let's go with that. lov u all.

you know i made her for the irl witcher ttrpg game Thirsty was running, because no one ever picks Coram as a patron for their priests, and the memes gotta live on. but Hedwig Not Actually From Ivalo grew on me very fast.

she's obviously raised in a cult and i wanted that to really impact her, her entire world view and what she knows and believes in has been entirely shaped by her surrogate father figure and the cult, and then she is sent out to the world to find a cure (for an uncurable disease) and sees for herself that what she's been taught is often wrong. [it totally has nothing to do with me and my parents and how i moved to berlin, nah...]

all the while Coram is in her dms trying to convince her she is in fact the specialest little bug that should definitely take over the cult and she's starting to doubt that mf's good intentions just a little bit.

i'm honestly not sure how i would have intergrated any of this into actual roleplay beside it just being in my head, but Hedwig exploring the dungeons of Rissberg was. very funny to me. "my people!" and then "oh. they are all absolute weirdos. great."

oh and! i named her after the church in the village where i went to elementary school, as it's dedicated to St. Hedvika.
