concept drawings also sebastian in the sketch portion because in my mind they’re in cahoots and if you pay my oc in data (he prefers a snack) sebastian puts like a 25% tax on everything because it’s funny. lore under the cut.

in my mind he was a leading scientist at urbanshade. his research more or less paved the way for urbanshade’s ability to make monstrosities such as sebastian. his research was not ready for human testing and he’d been putting it off for years, urbanshade goes over his head and does it anyway. he contacts the authorities on grounds of abuse and unethical practice. urbanshade just pays off the authorities and as bro’s “punishment” they use his own research against him. they keep him for a while up top to study on, but he quickly realises his scientific knowledge is still a card he can play if he wants better living conditions, food, etc, while being this mutant thing they turned him into. so he ends up progressing the evil research while also being a victim of it (bootlicking core) for common human comforts. urbanshade get’s fed up of this and ships him off to the blacksite. down there he stays in dark underwater areas and offers to guide expendables through the blacksite with his bioluminescence for a meal, or an exorbitant amount of data (sebastian tax with this option..) if you refuse his services he gets angry and will lowk try and eat you 😓 lalalala i live in a fake world of my own making.
