my world used to be brighter
allegedly it was even brighter before that
#skitcherins#yay more sludgegirl!#doodling on a sketchpad before i clock in at work#i remember back when i was a kid#we would swim in Tellico lake all the time. until one day my mother scooped something into a bucket and called us outa the water#it was a tilapia so gorged with parasites that it had died and floated to shore#we didnt go swimming there again after that#sometimes ill drive past it (i dont live in the area anymore) and see the oil slicks hundreds of feet wide from the boats docked there#i read somewhere that its one of the cleanest lakes in Tennessee and still barely rates as “fair” on the EPAs index as of a few years ago
