valentina would just laugh it off tbh, she doesn’t really have any sense of propriety. she might make a flirty little comment, though!

margaret would definitely be a bit flustered, though she would try to hide it with a joke. though she likes to think otherwise, she’s easily embarrassed and would think about the incident for longer than she’d like to admit.

It was during one of their dates

They were walking the field of primroses that his family had owned for years now

They were commenting on Cicero's text that he had given her and they started to laugh

He looked at her fondly and decided to kiss her cheek and looked at her

She then decided to kiss him for the first time

The moment their lips connected, he knew he was in love with her

As you told me, they first talk alone on the gardens during the ball

They keep correspondence during many months as Vincent takes many responsibilities from his aging mother

Margaret is not an INCREDIBLE dancer but Vincent is as talented as his mother, so he teaches her some tricks

One of their dates is horseback riding and then a picnic

He definitely escorts her to the fair of Winbournshire, the village of Winbourne

His sisters interrogate her and he apologises for it

She also meets his aunts

The one that is more reluctant on Vincent remarrying is Primrose, but she ends up liking Margaret well enough to approve the match

They spend two months on Manosque, a small town in France during their honeymoon

After six months, she's pregnant of their first son, Lawrence

Every time she's with period cramps or pregnancy ones, he massages her with a special oil from India and pampers her

Luckily Vincent's a great teacher and soon teaches her all the duties as Viscountess

But most of their lifestyle is simple and away from the ostentatiousty of the court

Margaret is introduced as Viscountess Yaxley to the queen.

On their later years, the grow tomatoes and cherry blossoms, especially when their children are all grown up
