Working on a personal story. I need to put it on the backbunner for a bit but decided if its on here id be more liable to get back to it asap.

Here are the finishes. The first 3 pages from Ray Bradbury's The City. Id like to maybe finish the other 5 pages soon but we'll see... The inks are 98% traditional all done with brush. Fun stuff!

Here some work from my graphic novel class. Generally we only do roughs and focus on story telling and less on the art but for this assignment we got to take a page to finish. Great fun! I've been learning a ton this semester definitely one of my favorite classes.

These are from a few months back really trying to capture emotion and mood in everyday life.

I don't generally post cg wips or much cg at all but change can be good sometimes. This is a self caricature known as "The Dark Mike" or "Budget Batman."

Over the summer I created this character i called BearCop. He is this older police officer who doesn't really like being a police officer. He hates all his coworkers except for his partner (but he'd never say that) a young female chicken who is new to the force. He doesn't play by the rules and has a really bad temper. He handles all of his problems with his fist first. You're probably wondering how a guy could be so cold-hearted. Well BearCop had a difficult past, after high school he went into the Navy  where he was stationed off the coast of China. During that time he fell in love with a Panda that broke his heart ( note the  tattoo on his right arm) A broken heart can take a lifetime to mend.

  This character was used for an animation exercise here at school. I have ton more stuff lying around on the hdd. Different story scenarios boarded out tons of exploratory sketches, and a couple animation tests. Maybe ill post more later.
