Like, he created an environment where Jimmy can take advantage of and abuse Anya. He continues to associate with and make accuses for Jimmy, despite the implication that it's likely this isn't the first time Jimmy has been in this scenario. Up until the very point of the crash, Curly is still taking the full brunt of blame, all for Jimmy.

However, the biggest difference between Jimmy and Curly is that Curly is willing to.. heh.. take responsibility for his actions. It's clear to me that he regrets and wants to atone for his misgivings as a leader. No matter how grave the punishment. Obviously, Jimmy can't fathom a world where he'd have to live with the consequences of his actions. And that's a HUGE reason why Jimmy sees Curly as this monolith of perfection.

And don't get me STARTED on the fucked up way Jimmy sees Anya..
