Lost and Found Part 2
words: 2344
warnings: drugging, arguing, kidnapping, lmk if I missed any!
~~~
It was a while before the strange headaches and lethargic feeling left. You still didn't know what had caused it, but you had to assume that it was whatever that woman had given you.
The reminder of what had happened made you on edge, and you remembered how you needed to get out. The doors were a start.
You tried to pry them open, but they seemed to be almost soldered shut. You couldn't move it, even just a little. You had given up on trying after the 3rd time, and instead looked around for other possible escape routes.
The window was thick. Too thick, actually, to even break it. You could see where the glass ended, and it had to be at least a few inches thick. So, you had to give up on that route too.
There were some vents in the room, but since the room was so tall in height, and there was almost nothing on the walls to latch onto, it would be a challenge to get up to them.
After a while, and looking at the same spots every 5 seconds, you decided to take a small break and just sit down for a minute.
There was a big, cushy chair that sat in front of an extravagant desk. The chair itself was huge, taller than you, and you had to hop into it rather than sit in it. However, it was the softest chair you had ever sat in. It almost felt like a cloud.
The desk, just like the chair, was also huge. You could barely prop your elbows on it, and you felt like a little kid at a dinner table. There were a few drawers that held some papers, pens, office things that you absentmindedly noted.
However, there was nothing really of interest. You did note that there were a few large gaps in some of the drawers, like something was taken out of them. There weren't many indicators to what, however, so you dropped that case too.
For a while, you just sat in the chair, and would sometimes turn around to look at the window. Outside, it almost looked like a large snowy canyon, with some trees at the bottom. It was huge. The canyon itself was wide and open, and you could tell you were somewhere in the mountains, as peaks popped up behind the rock formations, all of them different and probably extremely tall.
The trees at the bottom were mainly on the edges, but there were some spots that had been completely overrun by them, and you couldn't even see the snow from there. You had figured out that you were at least at the edge or end of something, probably the canyon itself.
Even though you were internally panicking and anxious, you couldn't help but forget about your worries when you looked outside to the pretty landscape in front of you.
"Are you enjoying the view?"
You jumped back, seeing that that woman was there. You almost sunk into the chair a little, before you hopped down from it, and started to back away.
Her head tilted, "I see the... medicine is wearing off. That's good. I was hoping that you would feel better enough to-"
Her eyes were trailing around the room, and she finally saw the untouched food that the man had left for you. She sighed, "-to eat something."
She walked over to the tray, picking up the bowl, and grabbed the spoon. She held at an angle, letting the soup fall back into the bowl before looking back at you. "It's cold." She said it bluntly, like she knew you had let it get that way.
She started walking back to the door, and turned to face you again. "Father will be back soon- I'll let him know to ask for another bowl. Or were you hungry for something else?"
You didn't know what to say. This woman had kidnapped you, was keeping you hostage, and now she was just acting like it was no big deal?
"Who are you?" You asked again, and this time (thank god) she awnsered.
"My name is Cassandra Savage. I'm your- well, Father will explain that to you." You tried to ask what she was, but she shut the door before you could even say anything.
---
After Cassandra left, you were alone for half an hour before someone else came in. You didn't really know what to do, since you had already searched the room for something to help you and had found nothing, so you instead decided to try and get some sleep.
However, you found it impossible knowing that either of them, or maybe someone new might enter without you knowing. You would close your eyes, only for them to snap back open, looking at the door, just to see that the room was still empty.
You realized after a while that it would be useless to sleep, and instead, you sat in the bed, and looked out the window, watching the snow fall. It was still beautiful, even if it was unwarranted.
You were so distracted by the window, that when you heard the door open, you spun around, the noise scaring the hell out of you. Standing in the doorway was that man. The one who had given you the food earlier, and who had to leave due to... something.
The silence that followed was loud. You both stared at each other for a good minute or two, before he finally made a move towards you. You didn't bother moving away, you realized that it was a useless effort, and you believed that if you were more compliant, there might be more opportunities for escape in the future.
He walked up to the side of the bed you were on, and put down the bowl on the nightstand. Looking at it, it looked like chicken alfredo. The glass of water he had given you earlier was sitting right next to it, untouched.
He walked to the desk, and moved behind it to the chair. He grabbed the headrest and started to drag it over to your bedside. Surprisingly, it made no noise when being pulled.
He moved it right next to you, just enough space in between that his legs could fit, before he sat down.
You didn't move from your position when he reached for the bowl again, picking it up and holding it out to you. While you wanted to just ignore him, you reluctantly took the bowl from him, and held it down in your lap.
He didn't say anything at first, and neither did you. It felt awkward, but really what the hell were you supposed to say?
"I apologize for leaving you earlier. There was a... business matter that couldn't wait."
"Who are you?"
While you were just trying to figure out why you were here, his face seemed to sadden. "You truly don't remember who I am?"
He reached up to touch your face, just like he did when you first saw him. But this time, you blocked his hand with your own.
He took back his hand, and sighed. "Did Cassandra not tell you why you are here?"
You shook your head, "She said you would explain it to me."
He put his hands in his lap, and leaned back. "I would ask that you let me explain everything before you say anything. Can you do that?"
"Yes."
"My name is Vandal Savage, and you are my daughter." Your confusion apparently showed, as he gave you a look, please don't.
"When you were 5, you were taken from me and your family. I still do not know by whom, but I do know that they gave you to your... 'parents'."
His jaw clenched as he spoke, and you could tell he was angry just thinking about it.
"However, I had believed you had been killed. They had hidden you so well, I paid hunters and assassins to find you, to bring you back. None of them were successful."
"I admit, I had overcome my grief after a while. While you were my baby, I realized that if you were dead then that meant that no one could harm you again. Even if I didn't know where you were buried, or where you were, there wasn't any doubt in my mind that you were dead."
He turned to you, again trying to cup your cheek. This time, you let him. "When Cassandra brought me the file, I thought it was another trick. But it was you."
There were so many emotions going through you. Was he lying? What if he's telling the truth? You had some belief that you were adopted by your... parents, but there was never any evidence to show that you were right.
Was he actually telling the truth?
"You were alive. You are alive. I couldn't believe it. My baby, who was kidnapped and hidden from me for so many years, is alive."
He held your face in his hands, looking down at you with adoration and tenderness. "I'm so sorry for not finding you: I'm sorry for leaving you."
He pulled you in, embracing you awkwardly since you hadn't moved from your position in the bed.
"_____, you will never leave me again."
His words made you stiffen. He pulled back, still holding your face. "Thank you for listening to me." He held a small smile for a moment, before it dropped.
"Now," he gestured to the bowl you held in your lap, "I need you to eat at least something."
You were about to reach for the fork, when he beat you to it. He picked at a piece of chicken, before going for a piece of pasta. He raised to your mouth, still holding the bowl.
You grabbed the fork from his hand, and tried to take it, but he wouldn't let go.
"What are you doing?" He pulled his hand away, and again tried to feed you himself.
"I can feed myself." You tried again, but he took the bowl and placed it on the table, along with the fork.
"Then why didn't you eat what I gave you earlier?" He didn't seem angry, more that he was confused.
"I-I didn't know who you were." You turned your head towards the window again, realizing how stupid you looked. Why couldn't he just let you eat by yourself?
"Did you think there was something in it? Do you think I would drug you?"
"Yes." You instantly regretted saying that, realizing that that might've just pissed him off. However, he stayed silent, waiting for you to continue.
"I mean, you did drug me to bring me here."
His eyes narrowed, "That was to bring you here. You don't have any idea on how to function in the world, how to survive. It's a miracle that you weren't hurt before I found you."
"Besides, it was to keep you safe. I didn't want you to hurt yourself when you were being taken here."
"I'm not incapable of living! I've been doing it for years, I'm not some fragile kid!"
He didn't seem to care about the anger in your voice, "Just because your kidnappers disregarded your safety does not mean that I will."
"I'm not gonna be kept locked up just because you think I'm some stupid-"
"Don't."
He had grabbed your chin, making you face him. It didn't hurt, but it was enough that you couldn't move it.
"Don't you dare act like you know anything. You were taken away from me, from your family. While they might've had a different life, this one is not easy. You can't fight, you don't know what we do."
He had started to lean towards you, his voice growing louder every word. Even when he was sitting down, he still towered over you.
"_____... I know that the change might be hard to get used to. But you don't understand how anything works here."
He picked up the bowl, and handed it to you. "However, if you believe that you can finish it, then go ahead."
You took the bowl, and set it down in your lap again. You glared down at it, trying to hide your anger. You already pissed him off enough, _____, don't do it again.
You ate the food quickly, and you had to admit, it was good food. Maybe it was just the fact that you hadn't eaten anything for almost a day, but the food made you want to eat more.
When you were done, he gently took the bowl from you, and handed you the glass of water. You drank half of it, before he took it from you, hearing a small chuckle. "I'm glad that you're finally hungry."
He slowly got up from the chair, and picked up the chair, bringing it back to the window and desk.
He walked back to your bedside, and leaned down. He kissed your forehead and held you for a moment, before he let you go. "If you need anything, Cassandra will be here shortly, she will lead you to your permanent quarters."
he looked down sadly, "I wish I could stay with you longer, but the League continues to intervene with us."
League? You wanted to ask him what he meant, but he was already walking to the door. He turned around, and gave you one last lingering look before he walked out, shutting the door.
There was the little click of the lock, and you were left alone. You sat up for a few minutes before you drank the rest of the water, and decided to finally get some sleep.
You didn't want to process anything. Not yet. That would come for later, along with figuring out what the hell was going on. Why did he just find you now? What League is he talking about? Who's your mom?
While you ignored the questions, you felt yourself being pulled to sleep again, and finally you felt yourself fall asleep.
He was devastated. You were his baby, his precious, even when you were born, he knew you would be different. All throughout your years, he would teach you, care for you, he would show you all around the world, to tell you that this is what you would rule over. That this was your domain, that you would one day be ruling over the people around you.
Unfortunately, that vision he had given you had never come to fruition. He still remembered the day you were taken, when you were little. He left you with your siblings, thinking that you would be safe, that you wouldn't be in any danger.
He goes over that day every night, about the what if's and what could've changed. What he could've done differently. If he had just taken you with him, if he had just assigned more guards. After a few years, he had assumed the worst had happened. He knew that he would never make this mistake again, he swore to himself, but it didn't help the hurt and pain he felt every time he thought of you.
He thought he would never see you again. By the time you would have been an adult, he had come to terms with what happened. He would still think of you, but he knew that he would have to get over it, that nothing would bring you back. No matter how much he tried, you were gone, probably dead.
And so when he received a file from one of his children showing that you were alive, that you were on the other side of the world, fine and unharmed, he let himself hope again that you were there. That it wasn't a trap, that you were actually alive.
Savage realized what would happen if it was a lie. That it would restart his pain, his hurt. But he let himself believe that maybe, you were still alive.
He hoped he was right.
--
You were having a terrible day.
Your mother had called you, telling you that she wanted you to move back in with them for some reason or another, even though you just rented your first apartment, something you were very prideful about, and she didn't even tell you why. This caused an argument where she yelled at you for 5 minutes before hanging up.
Then, on the way to work, you were stopped by a cop, which made you late, which then caused your boss to yell at you in front of your coworkers. Later in the day, some lady was mad because you got her order wrong, and made a huge deal about it to your boss.
After she left, he told you that your raise you were going to get, albeit small, was going to be postponed until he saw "better results". You had tried to argue, but he had shut you down, telling you to do better.
The rest of the day was a blur, besides the few angry people who would come up to you telling you something was wrong, or to go work on this, or work on that.
By the time you were clocking out, you were ready to be done with your day and cry yourself to sleep.
Walking down the road to the parking lot, you thought of everything you could do the next day to make yourself feel better. You had that TV show you wanted to watch, some snacks, and you could even get some food from your favorite restaurant-
"______?"
You paused and turned around, expecting one of your coworkers telling you you forgot your keys or something similar. You were not expecting a tall lady who looked like she could kill you with a punch to be there.
"Yes?" You fully turned to face her, worried she might try something, but she didn't move. In fact, she seemed surprised that you even answered her. You had never seen her before in your life, which made it even more suspicions.
"Do I... know you?" you asked, hesitantly. You didn't know what she wanted from you, and the fact that she knew your name was not a good sign.
She didn't answer your question. Instead, she told you, "I can't believe it. You're _______ Savage?"
Savage? What? "My name is _______, but my last name isn't Savage-"
"That's all I need to know." Confused, you were about to ask her what the hell she was talking about, when she suddenly rushed forward towards your face. You tripped yourself backwards trying to get away from her, and ended up falling flat on your ass.
This didn't deter her, though. While you were trying to figure out how the hell you were going to get away from her, she took the opportunity and lunged towards you. You covered your face, but she didn't automatically go for you. She went behind you.
Before you realized what was happening, she had you in a chokehold, holding you down while you tried to yell out for help. You saw something glint from her other arm, and you were smart enough to know what she was planning on doing.
You tried to kick your way out of her hold, but you cried out when you felt something prick your arm. Something cold, something that felt weird under your skin poured into you. You finally had the bright idea to shove your palm at her nose. She let you go and you scurried away, trying to get ahold of yourself when you started to droop.
Your arms, legs, even your face weren't moving as fast as you normally would have been able to. You tried to get up, but even then you struggled. By the time you hoisted yourself onto the nearby wall, she was already back on her feet, walking towards you.
When she grabbed you by your arm, and you fell like a rag doll, you knew you had lost. You didn't even notice her cradling you like a baby, or when she carried you to a car that you didn't even see beforehand. The last thing you remember was falling asleep to her telling someone to drive.
--
Your head felt like crap. It was almost like what a fever felt like: you could move, but your body didn't want to. It was too tiring, too slow. It was too hot, too cold. You groaned to yourself. Did you really have to get sick on your days off? Opening your eyes, you were going to see if you could convince your body to get some water, only to realize this wasn't your room.
In fact, it was the opposite of your room. In comparison to your tiny little apartment, the room you were in was huge, probably the size of your parents house. There were shelves with trinkets, statues and books. There were huge paintings on the walls, some of them seemed to be originals.
When you looked at the bed you were on, it was gigantic. It looked like one of those princess beds, with black lace curtains, sheets and pillows. The headboard was carved to show what appeared to be a battle, the detail showing even in the smallest of areas. There was two doors that probably led to some hallway or another, but what got your attention was the window.
It was to your left, and it showcased a tundra of snow and trees. It was enticing, seeing the beauty of it all right in front of you. There were mountains, covered in snow, and it almost looked like another planet.
Everything in the room, while luxurious and expensive, made you remember in your daze everything that had happened the day before, including the kidnapping.
You threw off the covers, and jumped out of the bed, which made your head hurt even more, but you didn't care. Panic and adrenaline started to set in, and even through your headache, you stumbled over to the two doors, which was a struggle just from your body being so disorganized.
When you finally reached the doors, your body was already done. You had wondered what had happened to you to deserve this treatment, when the knob suddenly turned. You stopped as it opened, your heart sinking when you saw who was on the other side.
It was the biggest man you had ever even seen in your life. You didn't recognize him, and yet he looked so familiar. He was holding a tray of food that seemed to be some kind of soup, and some flatbread to the side of the bowl. It also held a glass of water.
You tripped on your feet as he walked in the room, and gently shut the door. He walked past you, towards the bedside table, and set down the tray, along with the glass of water.
He turned around, and his expressions softened. "______, are you feeling alright?"
"Who are you?" You mumbled out. Not knowing who he was and yet he somehow knew your name made your stomach turn, and it didn't help you had no idea where you were.
He didn't respond, and he only walked towards you, saying, "You look ill. You should be in bed, you know."
You couldn't even respond before he grabbed you by your neck, like a kitten, and walked back to the bed. He dropped you where you were before, and pulled the sheets and blankets over you again. While your mind was yelling and screaming, your body took comfort in the warmth from the covers.
"Who are you?" You asked again, more panicked and rushed. He grabbed the tray and placed it on your lap, since you were already sitting upright.
"You do not remember me?" He asked, almost sad that you weren't able to recognize him. You shook your head, and flinched when he reached to cradle your cheek.
"______, I am-"
There was a sudden ping from his pocket, and he angrily pulled out what appeared to be a cellphone. He answered, "What is it?"
"Father, there's trouble with one of our reserves. They have asked for an emergency meeting with the rest of the Light." The voice sounded similar to the lady who had taken you.
He growled, and you could see his fist shaking from anger. It scared you.
"Tell them to be ready by the time I get there."
He hung up without saying anything else, and turned to you again. He grabbed your hand and rubbed it, almost trying to give you comfort of some kind.
"I'll be back soon enough. Please eat at least something before I get back."
He let go of your hand, and got up from the bed. He walked over to the door, and turned around one last time, and gave you the smallest smile, before opening the door, and leaving.
You did, however, hear the doors lock, before you heard him walk away. You looked down at the food he had given you, and slowly, you ate, too hungry to even care if he had tampered with it.
You knew you had to have a plan to get out of there. But for right now, you decided to rest, and figure out why you were here.
I was gonna write this completely differently, but it came out weird so I re-wrote it. anyways, I hope you enjoyed it ヾ( ̄▽ ̄)
I loved your Darkside dad! Could you do a general Vandal Savages dad?
yess I love father figures
warnings: kidnapping, lmk if I missed any!
~~~~~
this man is the definition of "yeah I'm a terrible father/husband but I love my grandkids". of course, excluding you, who he considers his baby.
it's almost the same with darkseid: he's seen a thousand beings over his lifetime, there has to be something about you to be memorable. again, it doesn't have to be your powers or abilities, for him it's probably how you act.
whatever it is, he doesn't act immediately like darkseid does. instead, he waits, pondering over what he should do, before he actually takes any action.
when he does, he decides to first go alone. he probably sets up something, like bumping into you, and asking some questions about you. then he'll just walk off, as you're left weirded out by the interaction.
on the other hand, he would have already made the decision to take you. of course, not without making sure everything was set up for you when you arrived.
I don't even know how many kids this guy has, but he will debrief all of them on the situation for sure. maybe giving more info to some than others, but everyone gets a run down: do not fuck this up for him and stay clear.
would also send one of his kids to grab you. while it wouldn't be quick (both taking you and bringing you back), it would be easy. I mean, you are NOT beating any of them in anything, lets be real here.
depending on where you are, he might just have them take a motherbox/fatherbox with them, but maybe not because he wants to keep it a secret from others.
would tell some of his (CLOSEST) allies. not everything, of course, he would probably never tell anyone everything, but just. enough they can get the gist of the picture.
I know he at least has some properties somewhere. I know he does. he's been alive for, what, a few thousand years? he has had to have bought a house somewhere, he probably built them too.
would choose the most secure location, and one that he believes would suit you too. the mountains? maybe. some random forest? yeah. literally anywhere that is safe and secure, he will place you.
dynamic wise? again, he is the "I love my grandkids" kind of guy. it's just he doesn't consider you a grandkid, he considers you his own child.
maybe youngest sibling would make more sense. you wouldn't get in trouble (unless you're trying to leave), you could do anything you wanted, and most importantly, you could ask for anything and you would get it.
of course, you know none of this, so you are very suspicious around them whenever they are around.
will make time to just talk to you. or just to hang out with you. it is very common for you to just follow him around while he goes about his day, or in meetings, or anywhere he goes thats closed off. you won't even talk to each other, just sit in comfortable silence.
he is very paranoid about stuff, especially about your safety. while it's not something thats huge to him, it is something that he works around by sometimes ignoring the feeling, or if it's something that can actually happen, he will just have you stick by him for the rest of the day.
I think he pulls overtime a lot, so by the end of the day, you will be falling asleep standing up, and you'd probably just want to rest. sometimes, when you're too tired to even think about walking back, he'll just carry you back. it's one of the rare moments of physical affection he gives to anyone.
he probably has a room dedicated for you in every major base he goes to. one where you can sleep, where you can store things, he probably even gives you some kind of entertainment system once you've been with him long enough.
he would absolutely just bring you random places for fun. have you ever seen a sunset from a mountain? have you seen the northern lights? anything that would've been impossible to see due to money or anything else is now gifted to you, and it can be anything you would like.
hell, you could probably tell him something you would like to see and he would find something for you.
he also likes to be your primary source for news of the outside. he loves telling you things from politics, changes in people, and his favorite topic, the justice league. he loves hearing you tell him how you view of the world, because it gives him a better understand on where you stand, and how he can adapt to how you would like someone.
there might be some things, however, that he would try to change of you. usually to do something with the heroes, like if you were a supporter of them beforehand, or if you thought they brought hope to the world.
he wants you to change your attitude so that it would fit into his new world: one where only the strong would survive. you would often think of how ironic it was that he wanted a world full of the strongest and smartest people, and yet he took care of you like you were still a baby.
another thing he doesn't let you do is actually train or fight. maybe some: not to the extent of his other children, but just some basics in case you are separated from him, which will probably never happen.
however, he doesn't tell you that he actually does this in case you decide to actually leave or decide you don't want him. he knows that the extent his children train will make the formidable enemies, and only a few others can rival. if you were to be trained to your fullest extent, there would be a huge risk of you deciding to abandon him, and leave to live by yourself, or god forbid, that you'll become a hero.
instead, he tries to expand your knowledge, but he also uses it as a way to talk to you more. having you take history classes and then almost quizzing you on what you'd learned, helping you understand a certain math equation, or even bringing you to a place for 'scientific' research even though it's really just to talk.
vandal would definitely try to extinguish any want or thought about your old family. telling you they were dead, that they gave you up, even that they were glad you were gone. but he would say it with pity in his voice, like he was so sorry for you, or like he was trying to give the news without much hurt.
it felt... comforting, sometimes. while normally, you would tell yourself that it was just him trying to make you break, but after a while, you start to wonder if he is correct. that maybe they did give you up for whatever reason.
eventually, he catches onto this, and so he makes a fake document that brings up transactions between your parents and someone, not vandal, and basically sums up to you were sold to someone else. maybe he would even take a happy video of your family where it shows how much fun they are having while your missing.
he loves making you think that he is right. that he knows everything, that if you are having issues with something you dont understand, you should ask him, and only him. for him, it makes him feel like you are working by his world view, that you are glad that someone was able to take you in, when nobody else would.
overall, he loves your obedience and you talking with him. to him, he wants you to fall towards what he thinks, and that he should be the person who you trust the most. he loves you, but he loves your devotion to him as well.

Your Yandere dd Vandal savages was amazing! Could you do another where his daughter wants a child(she's maybe around 25-26)? Would he like and allow it? Train it? Let her chose the father herself? Raise it herself? Things like that.
If it's not you thing I understand and please skip it!
dude I love this idea 😭😭 (also unrelated, but PLEASE make more gifs of him I'm begging yall 🙏🙏🙏🙏)
warnings: talk of babies, pregnancy, manipulation and financial control, murder, lmk if I missed any!
ok so let's get the first thing down: talking to him about it would piss him off. not particularly at you: well, he's still mad you want a baby but he's really pissed at whoever put this idea in your head
~~~
he thinks it's someone else who wants you to have children: a secret lover? someone who wants to control you to get to savage? he goes over every situation and thought, and if it is any of those reasons, there will be hell to pay.
but let's say it's just cause you want one for yourself. he will bring up the fact that you've never been in a relashionship and that you have no idea what you want in life, only he can tell you what you want.
very discouraging. like, if you aren't 100% sure that you want a kid, he will convince you other wise. he says so much negative shit you actually start to reconsider your choice. not because you'd be a bad mom or parent, but because you are too young, you don't need a baby, you have your family in front of you. why don't you keep them happy?
he's very pissy about it. anytime you try to bring it up with him, he either changes the subject immediately or basically baby talks you, like you don't exist, and then proceeds to give you a 30 minute speech on why that would be terrible.
eventually, however, if you're REALLY persistent, he will ask you what you want from having a child. if he thinks that it's not just some very long phase, or that your just doing something rebellious, he will allow it.
he would absolutely not let you choose the father. hell no. who the hell would you choose, anyway? you don't know any men besides the ones from the light, and maybe a few guards. do you think they would even risk their lives trying to talk to you??? no. to them, talking to you, even in small talk, is a chance to get decapitated and put in the break room as a sign of what not to do.
will have a tournament for the rights of the father. best warrior to win, gets to be the father. of course, at the end of it, he just asks for "the seed in a tube", and then afterwards, he has the guy cloned and killed.
will present it as a gift. if he kills the guy in April, he freezed that shit to Christmas and gave it to you wrapped in a neat little box and told you your gift would be granted.
during the actual pregnancy, especially the first months, he would try to tell you that your making a mistake. especially when you're so tired, sick and angry all the time! all of it, just for a single baby in the end. why would you want that?
however, after a while he comes to terms with the fact that you're solid on your mind to have children and that you will not change your mind to his advice. he's not happy with it, but he can deal with it.
I'm not gonna lie, he would probably train the kid. he would be so mad that you want the kid that he would have them learn just so that you couldn't spend as much time with them, just so you could spend more time with him without having them interrupt the two of you.
even though he's mad the kid is there, he would be there 100% to make sure that they're being raised the "right" way, or basically how he would raise a kid. he also won't be directly mad at the kid for being born, in fact, after a while, he will probably grow attached as well. but at the beginning, there's always the reminder that the baby is taking away his own baby's attention, you.
as the kid gets older, he'd definitely become more happy to them, because he realizes they're just a mini you. he acts almost like a father figure to them, considering uh... the actual father had been dead for years (also, to put some salt in the wound, the clone was given to darkseid).
another thing he does is that if you need something financially, like food, clothes, even school work, it would have to go through him. he approves what you and your child have and don't have. if you want to move somewhere else, or live on your own, he will revoke rights or privileges he's given you, like electronics, communications with the outside world, and even if you get to leave your own rooms.
if he thinks that either of you are doing something wrong, he will use both of you as bargaining chips to threaten the other one to cooperate. he mainly does this to you, since your kid is usually obedient anyway.
while at the beginning of your pregnancy you'd be ecstatic that he finally let you have a child, later on down the years, you realize he loves using your child against you. he loves making you feel like hell hurt your child if they step out of line, so you make sure you're both at your best whenever he's around so he won't have something over you.
basically, he keeps you under his thumb using your kid. financially, emotionally, and physically he will do everything to make sure that you know what will happen if you don't do everything he says. after all, ho hard is it to give your father some love? and his little grandchild, he obviously wouldn't kill them or anything. he would beat the hell out of them. give them the chancla. maybe the belt, if he's really mad.
savage is originally very opposed to you having any children, and brushes it off as some kind of faze you'll outgrow. however, as the child grows and he becomes more comfortable about the situation, he would become more happy and less angry with the kid and become a good grandfather figure in their life, while simultaneously having you under his complete control.
