  How many years had passed? 3 or 4? You didn't even know anymore. The town where you hid was suspended in time, it seemed as if the 100-year war had not existed. This state was due to the lack of resources that made it unimportant both for the Fire Nation and for the Earth Kingdom. People were peaceful and welcoming to the rare visitors who ventured into their corner of the world.Although you appreciated the kindness of the townspeople, you always complained to Agni about the endless monotony. Every day you went to the market, then to the school where you worked as a teacher, then home.

            It was a new day and you had just gotten out of bed. Confused, you looked out the window and noticed that the Sun was not yet in the sky. You were sure you heard a child crying. You slowly left the house and looked at the street. Not far from your house, a small child is staring in amazement at a boy no older than 12 years old. You thought it was just Li and his younger brother Taro and that the two of them were sneaking into your house to play a prank on you. Remembering that the last time they did this you lost an eyebrow you headed towards them wanting to scare them.You threw yourself at the older boy managing to immobilize him and pull his hat off his head to pull his ears. Both you and the boys screamed. The two were scared of you and you were scared of the blue arrow that adorned the head of the young man in your arms. The Avatar! You knew Agni hates you! If he is here, it means that the Fire Nation is not far away! You quickly send the smaller boy to his house and push the avatar towards your house.

 Y/N: what are you doing here?! You're crazy?! The Fire Nation will destroy the whole city to find you!

 Aang: Um, me and my friends stopped by to get some supplies ma'am..

 Y/N: my name is Y/N, I'm one of the teachers in this town. I will help you stock up, but as soon as you do, you and your friends will leave. We have a deal?

       The boy approves energetically and then bows respectfully. Y/N helps him cover his arrow and then they leave together for the market. There they meet two panicked teenagers dressed in Watertribe clothes. Y/N sighs, no wonder the Fire Nation always finds these kids. They don't even bother to change their clothes to blend in better with the crowd. The teenagers run towards the avatar looking suspiciously at the y/h/c woman. Y/N quickly explained the plan to them. She quickly buys them a good amount of food and other goods that could be useful to them on their journey. Then the woman offers them a bag with a reasonable amount of silver coins. The children hug her gratefully but she tells them that she is just trying to do her part in winning the war and advises them to run away quickly. You agreed to help them carry the supplies to their bison to make sure they would actually leave. There you met a small girl dressed in the clothes of the Earth Kingdom who seemed on the edge between panic and anger. The girl comes towards you and taps her foot accusingly. 

Toph: what took you so long?! we have to leave quickly! The crazy princess and her even crazier friends are close. i feel the komodo rhinos approaching.

 Y/N: Azula?! Run away from here immediately! 

        In a few minutes, the bison rises to the sky, and the noise of an angry Komodo rhino pierces the silence of the forest. The y/h/c woman tried to run away but it was too late as a circle of blue fire surrounded her. 

Azula: what else do we have here? who are you peasant?

 Y/N giggled bitterly. She takes a deep breath in her chest and turns to the princess. 

Y/N: let's just say I'm not exactly a peasant my dear

 The princess's face falls to the ground. All of a sudden, more expressions appear on her face than she has in years: insecurity, amazement, sadness, anger, happiness. The older woman looks at her with a broken smile and opens her arms in anticipation. The young woman throws herself into her arms and gives her a tight hug. Y/N sighs and returns the hug.Ty Lee and Mai also arrive and look at the scene in front of them confused. Then they analyze you and finally recognize you. Ty Lee quickly runs towards you and tries to join the hug but Azula angrily pushes her away then hugs you again. Y/N gives the girls an apologetic look and orders them to set up camp. After a few minutes, Azula moves away from you and begins to interrogate you. You sigh, feeling like you're talking to the old Ozai, this girl doesn't know how much she really resembles her father. But you hope that she will not go down the same path of destruction that her father decided to go down. You stop her talking with a wave of your hand. She blushes slightly and then regains the dangerous calm that is so characteristic of Fire Nation nobles. 

Y/N: let's just say I needed a break from all the stress of the Palace. I have no excuse for my actions, and my only regret is that I felt like I left you alone. I know Zuko had Iroh, and your father deserved to spend some time and rethink his actions. But, I'm afraid that Ozai applied the tactic of blaming any other people besides himself.

 Azula: You're saying my father was the reason you left? But why? He did nothing wrong!

 Y/N: let's say that the two of us had some adult arguments. You are too young to understand, believe me.

 Azula: I'm sure you'll sort everything out when we get to the palace. 

Y/N: that's all I could wish for.

            The journey to the palace was fast and tiring. Azula was getting more and more impatient with each passing day. If at first Y/N thought about a possible escape, an idea she gave up because she didn't want to hurt the three girls, then she reconciled with the idea that she would at least have a chance to roast Ozai a little for the Agni Kai with Zuko. Someone has to take the place of Ozai's heart until she returns from vacation, that is if she didn't die with Lu Ten. Y/N was starting to think that the second option was the most plausible of the two.

          Arriving at the palace, Ty Lee and Mai went to their rooms and Azula hid Y/N in her rooms. Y/N tried to rest but that was almost impossible with all of Azula's talk. Y/N had already noticed from the trip that no one had paid attention to Azula, only to the wonder princess. The good part was that now Y/N knew everything that had happened in her absence. The bad part was that the only way Azula knew how to show her affection was to report all the useful information and do anything else despicable to get recognition. Okay, maybe there was another bad part. Azula had become worryingly paranoid, Y/N had noticed how Azula tentatively smelled and tasted her food before letting her eat, how she eyed the guards suspiciously, how she seemed to check on her every few minutes to make sure she hadn't disappeared.

          After a few days in which Y/N ​​tried with all her might to make Azula a little more relaxed, the day of truth arrived. Now she was outside the Fire Lord's chambers waiting for Azula to leave so she could enter. Azula had insisted on breaking the news to Ozai but Y/N didn't want to risk that psychopath venting his anger on Azula because of her actions. Azula left the room and told Y/N she could come in. Y/N stopped thinking and entered. Ozai was sitting at his desk reading a scroll. He didn't even bother to look up and said boredly: 

Ozai: I hope you have a very good reason to bother me, Minister of Agriculture 

Y/N: I look like an old man struggling to walk without a cane, Ozai?

           Ozai gets up from the desk and for a few moments looks at the woman as if he saw Agni before him. The woman rolls her eyes but bites a sharp remark from her tongue. There are more important things than her pride at stake. She knows Ozai and knows that he is not extremely difficult to handle if you know what strings to pull. Ozai approaches her like a predator who doesn't want to lose his prey. She looks at him the way the old dragon tamers looked at a wild dragon. Yes, if she has to die, she will die fighting because she is a firebending master and is no longer afraid of burning herself.If the price to protect Azula and the rest of the world from this monster is her life, then she will pay it with a smile.

Dark Platonic! Fire Nation Royal Family x Non-bender Reader

With Ozai:

At first he didn't accept the fact that you, his youngest child, is a non-bender, and ignored your existence.

That was until he noticed how his older brother, Iroh, spends time with you, Ozai got extremely jealous.

And decided to spend time with you, only to realize that you are his favorite child, and felt like an actual father.

Yes, you can't firebend nor do you even have the ability to protect yourself.

But why would you need to protect yourself when your father is going to be the Phoenix king of the fire nation?

Ozai will burn down the world for you.

"You, my sweet child, will grow up in the presence of a very powerful father"

With Ursa:

When Ursa found out that you couldn't bend, she became overprotective of you to the point of paranoia.

Since childhood, she refused to allow you to play with anyone except Zuko.

One time, one of her handmaidens scolded you harshly for playing outside without your mother's permission which resulted in you bursting into tears.

The next day, that handmaiden was fired and Ursa made sure that she gets no other jobs.

While thinking of escaping, she thought to take you with her.

However, Ozai has forbidden that from happening.

"When you find out the truth, promise to come find me"

With Azulon

While still alive, he made sure you had the best education and guards.

Azulon also made sure to have you believe that the fire nation is without mistakes or faults.

He tried manipulating you into believing that just your loyalty to your people is enough duty.

However, you are kind, too kind.

Yet, he Azulon didn't hate you for it even if he considered a weak trait to have in the royal family.

He also still has the flower crown you made him stored away safely so it doesn't rot.

It is rumored that the last word he muttered was your name.

With Iroh

Uncle Iroh isn't really as possessive as the other characters, but he focuses on advising you from time to time.

You enjoy drinking tea with him and gossiping about everything.

Even though, Ozai has forbidden him from speaking with you, you would sneak behind your father's back to drink tea with him.

After the loss of his son in the war, Lu Ten, Iroh felt depressed.

Yet you managed to comfort him with your cheerfulness and playful attitude.

It reminded him of his son.

"The best quality in a princess is her kindness, something which your sister clearly lacks"

With Zuko

Zuko thought you would be like Azula but you have proven him wrong.

You are kind, gentle, and nurturing just like your and his mother.

That's why Zuko always found himself by your side, being your playmate...being your protecter.

His mother told him that it's his duty to protect you from danger considering that he is your older brother.

Even though Azula has never hurt you, but Zuko was always wary of her, especially after his mother disappeared.

When Ozai challenged him to an Agni Kai, you were the first to cry out and plead with him to let Zuko off, but Ozai felt jealous of your relationship with Zuko and was determined to teach his son a lesson.

However when your brother got banished, Zuko took you with him in secret not wanting you to be left with Azula.

"I know the journey will take long but once I restore my honor we can return home together"

With Azula

Azula was extremely jealous when you were born, thinking that you will take all the attention from her.

But she realized that you deserve all the attention.

You didn't treat her like a monster, you weren't scared of her.

Instead you showed her love and called her 'big sister'

You would cling to her as a toddler, whenever there was lightning, you would secretly sneak to her room and sleep beside her.

"How can you be scared of lightning, we control it, silly"

Mai and Ty Lee saw how Azula softens whenever you are around.

And when Azula discovered that you have left with Zuko, she destroyed everything in her way and burned a few servants.

"She's mine, and only MINE"

Dating Yandere Fire Lord Ozai Would Include:

His most prominent trait would be a lack of impulse control, which can manifest in many different ways. For example, being possessive and jealous, wanting to monopolize his beloved's attention, and becoming confrontational when faced with potential rivals for your affection. He may also act impulsively towards his beloved, expressing his obsession more intensely than usual and being overly eager to please you, even if it means crossing moral or legal boundaries.

Extremely affectionate and loving (Lovebombing), at least at the beginning, but incredibly possessive and envious when anyone else attempts to claim your affection. He will do anything for you. He'd kill everyone around you and then himself for you to be his.

If you tried to leave, rejected his love, or even implied that you were interested in someone else, he would be overcome with jealous rage. This can sometimes escalate to violence, as he may become physical in his attempts to prevent you from leaving or to punish you for being unfaithful. And if anyone were to ever hurt or threaten you, he would become so furious and vindictive that he would stop at nothing to make them pay.

He can even become more violent when he feels that he is losing you, showing that he has no problem harming the same person that he is supposed to care about.

He'd make you to be his everything. He'd demand that you spend every waking moment with him. He'd never want you to leave his side. He would be very jealous and possessive of you and would get angry at anyone who tried to take your attention away from him. In other words, he'd always want to be your number one priority.

If you somehow did manage to get away from him or you ended things, he would become violent and manipulative in order to get you back. He would resort to blackmail, bribery, and physical force if necessary.

He would also become emotionally manipulative, using guilt and shame to get you into doing what he wants. He would do anything to make you rely on him so that he could manipulate you into staying with him. He could turn your friends and family against you by spreading lies and rumors about you, or even threatening them if they ever tried to help you. Anything they love and anything they care about could be used against them in order to make you stay so that they will never have you for themselves.

He would also be prone to extreme mood swings from hot to cold, from lovey-dovey and affectionate, to violent and manipulative, depending on how much you have given in to his demands. He would constantly question you about your feelings towards him and be extremely jealous of any time spent with others. He would become obsessed with you and the image of you together, often becoming delusional and ignoring any warning signs that you may be planning to escape from his clutches.

He would reward you for compliance. Your well-being and safety would be an important factor in his decision making and if you behaved according to his wishes, you could expect gifts and praise.

He would punish you harshly if you acted out of line, he felt an intense rage that can only be satisfied through harsh punishment. The severity of the punishment depends on the severity of the offense. Some common forms of punishment he might inflict include spankings, binding and gagging, being made to endure humiliating acts, or being dressed up in embarrassing outfits.

If someone else were to try and take you away from him before you had fully fallen into his clutches, he would do his best to manipulate you and get you to return to his side. He would tell you that he is the only one who truly loves and understands you and that any other person would be a bad influence on you. He would do everything he could to make sure that you stayed with him and dealt with whoever was attempting to break you up.

Azula and Zuko, both reacted very differently to his behavior. Azula became very similar to him, and shared his cruel and manipulative personality over you, becoming his most trusted confidant and gets to watch over you for him. Zuko, however, was horrified by his behavior, and he could not understand why he would treat you in such a way. And tried to confront him on many occasions, but Ozai refused to listen to him.

Going on dates with him could be quite a rollercoaster experience. He would start off very charming and attentive, but over the course of the date, his mood may change drastically as you do or say something that irritates him or makes him suspicious about your behavior. This could end up leading to him questioning you about your thoughts on the date and your intentions.

Affection from him would start out as affectionate and attentive, but his possessive and obsessive nature would soon take over. He would only show you affection when he was getting his own way or when he felt it was appropriate for you to receive it. He would withhold any type of touching if he felt that you had not met his demands. He would only touch you when he wanted to, whether physically or emotionally. He would be very particular about how much physical affection you receive and when it takes place.

He'd always make sure you knew how much he loved you and how much you needed him. You'd be isolated from your family and friends, and you'd never be able to escape or get too close to anyone else. He'd be the only person you could ever rely on and trust.

the only thing that stops her from breaking havoc across the nation, is her dad appointing her to capture the avatar

Platonic yandere! Uncle Iroh x reader

This is just a concept, I actually haven't thought about it much this is basically just a word vomit.

No matter how you two meet, I feel like it's no surprise that he's not overbearing.

In fact, compared to ozai, he is pretty nice and reader probably won't even notice the rise of his tendencies as a yandere.

Uncle Iroh chooses and values humility over pride so he's pretty chill. He is wise and takes great joy if he manages to get reader to laugh with one of his jokes.

If you aren't a part of the royal family, maybe you originally meet him at a tea shop you frequent or work at.

How long he knows of you will also depend if you are from the fire nation or Ba sing se

His fixation probably starts if you reminded him on anyway shape or form of his deceased son. Even as wise as he is, Uncle Iroh is not imune to grief and it's sorrowful claws, which sometimes leads to some irrational paranoia (not that reader or anyone else is aware).

With that, he wishes to be by your side no matter what, it's enough to just bask in your presence and to know reader is safe and sound at all times.

I see him carrying something you own with him 24/7, so if your favourite necklace is suddenly missing don't worry to much about it. Oh? You're sad about it? He'll buy you another one so you'll always have with you something to remind you of him

He's actually really sweet period

Even though he's just an old man, don't let looks deceive you, he is pretty powerful, a general and brother of the Fire Lord Ozai, when it comes to you and your safety, if it's necessary he won't hesitate to use any of his titles, although he prefers peace over battle.

As we all know, he is great at giving advice when you come to him with your problems, he loves listening to you. If reader has any activities they enjoy he'll absolutely insist to participate.

Best emotional support and company, you'll find it easy to talk to him about anything and everything, and in the middle of your excited rambles you won't even realize the amount of personal questions you've answered and the kind man who is mentally memorising it all, drinking it like the golden liquid of the gods

He tells you stories of his time as a general, tales of the spirit world and shares his knowledge of culture from other nations.

He doesn't care if you can bend or not, you being you is enough.

His yandere side doesn't really shine through that much, he lets you have all the freedom you want but you'll come to notice that he's always near, seemingly afraid to stray too far.

Like a father, he praises you for everything not just because of his tendencies but because he's genuinely proud of you.

Even if he doesn't like it, he'll subtly manipulate you to stay with him or to not leave permanently without him for another path of life .

Of course, that's just the tip of the iceberg, once reader ceases to be oblivious of their situation some things are bound to change.

A/N: Should I start watching Hunter x Hunter? Sorry, that was random. Anyways, just wanna warn you these hcs are a lil out of order, and I’m sorry. When I wrote it, I just kept coming up with more and more ideas for the “story” so I just kept adding to it. Anyways, hope you like it!

First of all, you’re a maid in the castle. Yeah, of course he’s seen you in the halls and thought you were attractive, but he never really gave it more thought. 

Then Zuko and Azula’s mother left, and that’s when he got hooked on you. He felt lost and you, being the ever-faithful servant, stayed by his side and comforted him. 

(We are talking about adults here. You did have sex with him for “comfort.”)

Anyways, after that, you had sealed your fate. While you tried to get on with your life, Ozai wasn’t as forgetful. 

Honestly, I think this guy is one of those yanderes who initially don’t want to admit or believe they love you.

Like first, he’ll try other concubines. Women who will bow down to him and such. 

Then he’ll finally resort to keeping you near, allowing you to continue being a maid and such (because he initially planned on kicking you to the curb after your night together), but he still doesn’t like that he likes you. 

Part of him just feels… addicted. Like he doesn’t want to lose you. But he doesn’t like having that attachment. 

Honestly, he’ll want to blame his obsession on you, like make you feel bad for it and stuff. 

He’ll keep trying to show off with other women in the castle. 

Making out with them during breakfast and such while you’re serving them and you’re just standing around like “did you want eggs or…”

Then, at some point, he doesn’t exactly give in to his feelings, but he understands that as the leader of the world, it doesn’t matter who he’s with. 

Ozai’s not really self-concious of you ruining his image; if anything, he kinda wants to use you to flaunt how he can transform someone from rags to riches. 

At that point, he’s really fallen for you. He’s on the verge of taking over the world, his rebelling son is still banished, and he’s about to take over the last city that stands a chance against him: Ba Sing Se.

It’s a toss up of whether he wants to flaunt his world to you or to flaunt you to his world. 

You better treat everything he does like it’s amazing. Seriously, this guy is pure ego. 

If he gifts you something (which is something he does often), you must always repay him. Whether this is sexual or compassionate just depends on his moods. 

Maybe I’m wrong about this, but I really don’t think Ozai is the type of yandere to be like “you should feel blessed to be with me,” especially after he’s fallen for you. Initially? Yeah sure, he may have thought that a few times. But after he’s acknowledged the fact that he can’t let you go, I don’t think he’d rub his love in your face too much. He’d be more obsessed with showing you what he can do. 

You’re his world now, and giving you the entire world is his perfect gift. 

In the end, of course he’s captured for attempting to do this, and his third or fourth thought is “oh shit, where’s YN?”

He orders the last of all the Ozai loyalists to capture you and, I’ll be frank, he wants you to go out “together even in death” style.

The cycle had continued on but all the three avatars before them had been executed. Those three compared to them were weak. This Avatar was something so much more. The first new Airbender after they were wiped out. Their parents thought that the two could his this treasure.

"What is your name?" I ask them.

"(Name)." They say not back down.

"You will be forbidden from bending. If you do, I will have your friends executed, you are not to attempt to save them. Is this clear?" I say.

"Yes Fire Lord." They spat out.

"You will call me Ozai," I say and walk up to them pulling them into a kiss they gasped and froze.

I pull away after biting their lip.

"You will be screaming it on our wedding night."

Their eyes went wide as they realized they were to be mine. They will be mine and Mine alone forever.

(Iroh) (His Earthbender)

(Iroh's POV)

I was in the earth kingdom with my nephew Zuko. We left the fire nation about a year ago. I heard a rumor that the Avatar was here. Reborn in the Earth Kingdom. They were to help fight off the fire nation. That is when they walked into my tea shop. They were stunning. They wore water tribe clothing and walked in. I did not know if they were a water tribe or not. That is when a couple of thugs came in.

They threaten me with the money and I was about to put them in their place but then suddenly the person in water tribe clothes used air bending.

"What is the meaning of this?" They ask.

"Wh- How yo-" The two thugs stutter.

They did not say anything and suddenly locked the two thugs with earth bending. They then order their tea and sat down. I smile and drank tea with them it was a slow day after all.

We began to talk and I fell more and more in love. They were perfect and they would help bring peace to the world. I smile. I am going to support them in any way I can and maybe I can woo them over and win their heart. They will be mine.

You were enjoying your morning in a quiet café, sitting undisturbed next to the window. It was a soft spring morning, dew on the ground from the previous night.

All of a sudden, a royal carriage pulls to a stop on the cobblestone road outside.

Two royal guards jump off of the horses and rush into the café, and you can't help but be thankful that you weren't the one being captured.

You had never come in contact with any royal family members or officials. You worked for a high-earning company on the far west edge of the Capital City, and were as good of a citizen as it gets.

Since you were considered a Fire Nation noble, you wore fancier garments and earned some interesting looks on the public transports. However, you enjoyed your job, and wouldn't have it any other way.

Unfortunately, your musings came to an end when the guards approached you and grabbed your arms, dragging you out.

You begged and pleaded to be let go and for an explanation, but the guards didn't give.

When you woke up, you were in a musty cell. You sat upright, causing the new guard that was watching you go run and alert the others.

"Can someone tell me what's going on? Please, I swear I didn't do anything!" you yelled, with no response.

The guards unlocked your cell and dragged you down a hall, through another hall, and into the Fire Lord's throne room.

"I apologize for the dramatics, but I wanted to keep you in the dark about what is happening," a voice boomed behind the flames.

"W-what's going on?" you asked, trembling before the Fire Lord.

"You will be my royal consort," he said.

"I don't even know you, why would I want to-"

"This is not a question," the voice boomed, "you are to be named my royal consort tomorrow, on the day we will get married," he boomed.

"What is wrong with you? Why would I want to be your wife? I hardly know you," you yelled at the dark figure.

You received no response, only the return of the guards to bring you back to your prison.

"Once you decide to comply with the Fire Lord's orders, you will be moved to his private room. In the meantime, enjoy your cell," one of the guards laughed, throwing you back into the cold, dark shadows.

‘Beautiful’ Ozai watched as the young gardener tended the flowers in his private garden. How she haunted the firelord’s dreams. 

She was his.

Even more so now as she hummed a tune while she watered the flowers, not even noticing him watching her so intensely. “Hello, (Y/n).” He spoke deep and calm walking closer. Normally he was quite cold to his servants but he offered the sweet non-bender a certain warmness. She froze knowing the rumors she heard about his ruthlessness, despite never experiencing e single flare of rage from him. She went to the floor to bow down to him. “Firelord Ozai. My apologies!” The lord chuckled softly. “Stand... You don’t have to be afraid my little fire lily” (Y/n) stands, eyes still down avoiding his gaze. “Come, take a rest with me.” (Y/n) glanced at her work for a moment knowing she needed to weed the garden and rearrange some rocks before she could go home and get ready for her date. But it wasn’t like she could refuse the firelord. 

“Of course, sir.” She agreed, he placed a hand on her back leading her to the small fountain in the gardens. A place where his children and wife would spend many hours. He almost cringed at the memory. To ignore the memory he looked at her. The sun shined beautifully on her skin, despite it covered in mud. She almost looked like an earth bender. How upsetting. She should be dressed in fine silks and never lifting a finger. 

“Your hands are so dirty, (Y/n)” The firelord spoke, reaching forward to grab her hands. He pulled them down into the water in the fountain, gently washing away the dirt. Her face felt warm as his fingers eased it away, then his hands slowly danced along the skin of her arms. Up her shoulders. He was enjoying the softness of her skin. Her heart was racing, but knew not to pull away from Ozai. 

His mind flashed as he looked her in the eyes, hands still rubbing her skin, imagining her sprawled in his bed bare and for his taking. One day soon. He wanted her willingly. He wanted her to love and want him as much as he did her. When that day came she would have the world. In the truest meaning. 

“Ah, n-not to be rude Firelord. I must get back to work... my fiancee is expecting me tonight and I don’t want to work to late.” 

The firelord’s eyes went cold. Fiancee?! No. No that can’t be. 

“Please, (Y/n). Who is this fiancee?” His fingers now gripped her arm firmly. “I’d love to know more about the lives of my subjects” He lied through his teeth. In reality he was going to destroy whoever it was to disrespect him by trying to steal what was his. 

“His name is Jun Li.” She responded with a small smile. “He is actually one of your guards here.” The firelord removed his hand from her. “I see... please go back to work” His eyes still held a bit of softness for her as she walked off. As soon as she was gone he growled in rage and stomped off. However, a plan began to formulate when he saw his made. He was going to make her cry in his arms. She was going to come to him.

(Y/n) got home a bit late that day but it was still enough time to clean up and meet her fiancee for their date. However, when she walked into her home there he stood a small yet beautiful girl sad on his lap kissing him. Jun Li was clearly enjoying it. 

“W-what the hell?” she half shouted. His dark eyes widened and he pushed the practically naked girl off of him. “(Y/n)!” he said trying to hide his own most state of undress. (Y/n) didn’t even stop to listen. She just went back out the door. She didn’t know where she was going but it didn’t matter. It was hard not to want to start crying. She didn't want to seem weak to anyone living so close to the palace. Those that lived there were so put together.

Then she remembered the fountain the firelord had showed her. It was quiet and she just needed a moment to cry and figure out her next steps. The firelord was so kind to her... He wouldn't mind if she cried in garden... Right?

That's where she went. The same fountain now surrounded by darkness. There were one or two candles lit just for guards and since she still was in her uniform it was simple to walk in. It was much darker now as she sat down. That's when the flood released and she began sobbing hard.

What she didn't know, was not far in the darkness Ozai was once again watching her. It only hurt him a moment to see her tears. Then he remembered his plan. This was the first step to having her in the palm of his hand. He was a military Lord after all. It was all strategy and winning. She was his prize. A soft sob pulled him from his thoughts. Then he firebend and lit more torches around as he approached her.

Her eyes only opened when she felt the sudden heat. Was she in trouble? She looked around only to see the firelord. His hair was down and wore sleep robes. His face looked concerned but seemed to relax when he saw her.

"Fire Lily" he said in a gentle tone. He was at her side in an instant. "Why is someone so lovely crying so hard?" His hands touched her arms again. Her sobs were becoming harder.

"Jun Li.... Was with a girl..."

"Come here" he was so uncharacteristically gentle. He pulled her into his lap and allowed her to hug into him. No one would ever dare touch the firelord let alone sit in his lap hugging him tight and sobbing into his fine clothing. Yet here she was. One hand on her back the other supporting her bottom.

She was so soft.

She was going to be his if he had to destroy his own kingdom. 

“I don’t know where I’m going to go.” She sobbed, still in his arms. “The house is his... I...” 

Ozai held her to look into his golden eyes. “You can stay here. There is plenty of space. You will be my guest.” His slightly rough fingers brushed tears off her face. “Don’t worry, my fire lily. Allow your firelord to take care you.” That’s when he kissed her. It was rough and imposing just like he was. She froze unsure of what to do.

She didn’t want this...

He was the one to pull away, a smile on his lips. “And I’ll have Jun Li taken care of... He is as good as a traitor in my eyes.” 

He hugged her again. “No one can hurt what’s mine, little lily”

Calm down, it's just a distant relative of the royal family. The Fire Lord wouldn't waste his time looking at you like a creepy stalker. Isn't that right?

The man practically dragged you to a secluded corner of the room and started complimenting you. He said it was great to see a splash of creativity among all the boring guests. Then he started talking about war and destiny.

You looked at him, trying not to shudder at the fever with which he spoke of destroying the other nations. You mentally prayed that this man was not a general.

After what felt like an eternity, he looked you intently in the eyes and said that it was most likely fate that brought you together. He said that you two are the only ones capable of rebuilding the world because you are basically two phoenixes in a sea of ​​blind dragons.

At this point, you knew you had gone too far tonight.

You knew very well that the fire lord was a sadistic and possessive man. So you continued to act like you didn't realize who you were talking to.

You changed the subject and started talking about mythology, hoping to bore him. But you did the exact opposite. He started telling you various stories and even talking about prophetic dreams he had had.

At one point you even tried to push him away and run away. But he laughed and picked you up starting to carry you to his bedroom.

Ignoring the strange looks the guards were giving you, he entered his bedroom still carrying you.

He sat down on the bed with you on his lap. He took off his mask and so did yours. He cupped your chin and looked deep into your eyes.

Ozai: Hush, my queen. You're just tired and stunned. You are a clever woman and you will make a wonderful queen for me. And we will rule the world together.

Silent tears begin to fall from your eyes. But he ignores them and kisses you.

The Phoenix was a symbol of power and rebirth among the fire nation. The books depicted the Phoenix as a great bird spirit, one who’s past lives were as varied as the avatars. For each time the phoenix’s flames died out a new one would take its place. Some waged war, using their devestating power to wipe out whole kingdoms. Other sought peace and diplomacy, becoming honored among the air nomads as well as the fire nation.

When the last pheonix died not in the spirit world but the human world, even the fire sages were lost at what would happen. All hoped the spirit would return, but the longer they waited the less likely it seemed. So the fire nation and air nomads each took half of the ashes, the phoenix’s effects in both communities wouldn’t been forgotten. So when the pheonix’s rebirth did happen, it was incomplete. Only the half guarded by the fire sages was given a form. (How am I this bad at lore)

This time it wasn’t a majestic bird of fire but a woman. The woman had patchy red feathers in odd places and the stubbiest of wings. There was no fire, either on the outside or within. If Ozai hadn’t seen your emergence for himself he never would’ve believed you were the great fire spirit. So he let you stay and despite the poorly hushed gossip, you truly didn’t believe he liked you at all. Dumping thousands of years worth of history on...you into your lap and then disappearing as quickly as he’d come, getting a little to close to comfort with his fire and then smirking at you and worst of all, making you listen to his plans on becoming the Phoenix king.

Despite his attempts at indoctrination, you were still a formidable spirit...or half of one anyways. So you saw through his claims that the war was making the world better and that the fire nation was just sharing their prosperity. It all came to a head when you asked about the air nomads.

“It says that they have half of my ashes or the old me’s ashes. I want to go and find them, maybe I’ll be complete then” You sighs wistfully “and I’ll be to fly and control fire like the Phoenix’s in the book. At the very least I could rid myself of these patchy feathers.” As if driving your point home you begin to gently pull on one

“Careful. You know unruly birds get thrown in cages.” He walks away, and the tips of your feathers and stubby wings have the tiniest bits of fire. You hoped it would grow to match the fire you now had inside.

Maybe that is the reason why he likes Zuko more even if he doesn't show it, all because the boy takes after you.

And he is stubborn as you too.

Unlike Ozai, you love your children equally and make sure to spend time with them just to be away from your husband.

The moment you heard from Azula that Ozai challenged Zuko to an Agni Kai , you were quick to stand up for your son.

But Ozai didn't budge and the Agni Kai.

The only difference is that you intervened in the last second to save Zuko.

You got hit in the chest with fire and passed out, which angered Ozai.
