ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
It started small, the way theyβd tease you in the halls or "accidentally" block your path as you shuffled between classes. Kwon would lean against the lockers with his ever-present smirk, arms crossed, his sharp eyes locking on to you like a predator eyeing its prey. Yoon, quieter but no less intense, would stand beside him, the ghost of a grin tugging at his lips as his gaze traced every nervous twitch of your hands.
They were relentless.
βDid you forget how to speak again?β Kwon would taunt, leaning down so his face was uncomfortably close to yours. His voice dripped with amusement, but there was something darker beneath itβsomething possessive.
Yoon wasnβt much better. He didnβt always say much, but his actions spoke louder. The way heβd pluck the book from your hands just as you were about to open it, or how he'd sit too close during group assignments, making it impossible for you to focus. His whispers were worse than Kwonβs sharp words, low and teasing in your ear.
"Youβre so helpless. What would you even do without us?"
Despite the constant bullying, you couldnβt escape them. Every time you tried to blend into the crowd, to disappear into the background, theyβd find you. They always found you.
It all came to a boiling point one afternoon during lunch.
You were sitting alone in the far corner of the cafeteria, quietly nibbling at your sandwich and hoping they wouldnβt notice you today. But someone else did. A boy from another classβa loud, arrogant typeβstrolled over to your table, a cruel grin on his face.
βHey, freak. You always sit here alone? No wonder no one talks to you,β he sneered, shoving your tray aside. The sound of it clattering to the floor drew attention, but no one intervened. They never did.
Your chest tightened as you stared at the mess on the ground, too afraid to speak. The boy laughed, leaning in closer. βWhat, nothing to say? Youβre just a little mute mouse, huh?β
Before you could react, the atmosphere shifted. A tense, suffocating silence fell over the cafeteria as two shadows loomed behind the boy.
Kwon and Yoon.
Kwonβs smirk was gone, replaced by something cold and dangerous. Yoonβs usual calm demeanor was shattered, his jaw tight as his eyes bored into the boy who had dared to touch you.
βWho the hell do you think you are?β Kwon growled, his voice low and dripping with menace.
The boy turned, confusion flickering across his face before he realized who he was dealing with. βIβI didnβt mean anything by itββ
That was as far as he got.
Kwonβs fist connected with his face, the crack of bone echoing through the cafeteria. The boy stumbled back, clutching his nose as blood poured between his fingers. Yoon didnβt wait for him to recover. He grabbed the boy by the collar and slammed him against the wall with a force that made the windows rattle.
βYou think you can touch whatβs ours?β Yoon hissed, his voice barely above a whisper but laced with venom.
βOurs?β you thought, your stomach twisting in fear and confusion.
Kwon stepped forward, brushing his knuckles like he was getting rid of dust, before turning his attention to you. His gaze softened slightly, but not in a comforting way. It was the look of someone who thought they owned you.
βAre you okay?β he asked, crouching down to your level. His voice was calm now, almost gentle, but it only made your skin crawl.
You nodded stiffly, too afraid to do anything else.
Yoon let the boy drop to the floor, his head turning to look at you. His expression was unreadable, but his eyes burned with something you didnβt dare name.
βDonβt look so scared,β Yoon said as he walked over to you. βWeβre just protecting whatβs ours. No one gets to hurt you except us.β
His words hit you like a punch to the gut.
Kwon chuckled, standing up and brushing off his uniform. βYoonβs right. If anyone else so much as looks at you wrong, theyβll regret it. Youβre ours, and we take care of what belongs to us.β
From that day on, their obsession grew. They stopped hiding it, stopped pretending that their bullying was anything but a way to keep you under their control.
Kwon would drape an arm over your shoulder in the halls, his smirk daring anyone to comment. Yoon would sit next to you in class, his hand casually brushing yours under the desk. When you tried to pull away, heβd just lean in, his voice low and threatening.
βDonβt forget who keeps you safe.β
And the worst part? They werenβt lying. After that incident, no one else dared to bother you. But at what cost?
You were theirs now, whether you liked it or not.

The wind howls against your bedroom window, rattling the glass like a warning. You sit on the edge of your bed, hugging your knees tightly to your chest. Your mind races, replaying every word Kwon said earlier today.
βYou think you can just walk away from me?β
βYouβre mine.β
The memory of his voice sends a shiver down your spine. It wasnβt just what he saidβit was how he said it, with an unsettling calmness that felt far more dangerous than anger.
Youβve always known Kwon was intense. He had an edge to him, a sharpness that made people hesitate before crossing him. But thisβthis is something else entirely.
Your phone buzzes on the nightstand, and you flinch. Reaching for it with trembling hands, you see an unknown number flashing on the screen. Hesitating, you swipe to read the text.
Unknown: You looked beautiful today. Like always.
Your stomach drops. Another buzz follows, and this time, itβs an image. Itβs a photo of you walking home earlier, your face turned just enough to make it clear it was taken without your knowledge.
Your heart pounds as you dial the number, but it goes straight to voicemail. You donβt need to guess who it is. You know.
The next day, you keep your head down, trying to blend into the background. At the dojo, you move through practice like a robot, barely registering the instructions. But no matter how hard you try to avoid his gaze, you can feel itβthe weight of Kwonβs eyes, always watching.
After practice, you linger near the lockers, waiting for the others to leave. Maybe if you can talk to him one last time, you can make him understand. Maybe you can fix this.
βKwon.β
He turns to you slowly, his expression softening when he sees you. βY/n,β he says, your name falling from his lips like a prayer.
You steel yourself. βWe need to talk.β
βOf course.β His smile is easy, but thereβs something in his eyes that makes your skin crawl.
You take a deep breath, trying to keep your voice steady. βYou need to stop this. The following me, the texts, the photosβitβs not okay. Itβs scaring me.β
For a moment, his smile falters, and you think youβve gotten through to him. But then he steps closer, his eyes darkening with something unreadable.
βIβm not trying to scare you,β he says softly. βIβm trying to protect you.β
βProtect me from what?β you demand, your frustration boiling over. βFrom my own life? From my friends? Kwon, this isnβt protectionβitβs obsession!β
He tilts his head, studying you like youβre a puzzle heβs determined to solve. βYouβre wrong,β he murmurs, his voice dangerously calm. βYou think Iβm obsessed? Fine. Maybe I am. But itβs because I see the truth, Y/n. I see the way they look at you, the way they think they can get close to you. They donβt deserve you.β
βNo one βdeservesβ me!β you snap, taking a step back. βBecause Iβm not some prize, Kwon. Iβm a person, and Iβm telling you to stop.β
He follows you, closing the distance you tried to create. βYou donβt understand,β he whispers. βYouβre the only thing that makes sense in my life. Without you, I have nothing. No one. So no, Iβm not going to stop.β
Your chest tightens as his words sink in. βKwon... thatβs not love. Itβsββ
He cuts you off, his voice rising just enough to send a chill down your spine. βDonβt you dare say itβs not love. Iβve done everything for you! Iβve kept you safe, Iβve been there when no one else was, and you think this isnβt love?β
The raw intensity in his eyes makes it hard to breathe. For a moment, you wonder if this is itβif thereβs no way out of this invisible cage heβs built around you.
That night, you double-check every lock in your house, pulling the curtains tightly shut. But even then, you canβt shake the feeling that youβre being watched. Every creak of the floorboards, every rustle of the wind sets your nerves on edge.
You try to distract yourself, flipping through your phone, but it only makes things worse. The texts are still there, a permanent reminder of how close Kwon is to crossing a line.
And then, thereβs a knock at the window.
Your blood runs cold. Slowly, you turn your head, and your heart nearly stops when you see him standing there. His face is half-hidden in the shadows, but thereβs no mistaking him.
βKwon,β you whisper, your voice trembling.
He taps on the glass again, motioning for you to let him in. When you donβt move, he presses his palm flat against the window, his expression shifting into something almost desperate.
βLet me in, Y/n,β he says, his voice muffled by the glass. βI just want to talk.β
You shake your head, backing away from the window. βGo home, Kwon.β
βI canβt,β he says, his voice cracking. βNot without you.β
Panic surges through you as you realize heβs not going to leave. You grab your phone and dial for help, but before you can hit the call button, Kwon speaks again.
βIf you call them, Iβll be gone before they get here,β he says, his tone eerily calm. βAnd youβll just be alone again. Is that what you want, Y/n? To be alone?β
You freeze, your thumb hovering over the screen.
He smiles faintly, his breath fogging up the glass. βThatβs what I thought.β
Your mind races, trying to figure out what to do. You canβt let him in, but you canβt ignore him, either. The longer you stay silent, the more erratic he seems to become, his calm exterior cracking to reveal the chaos underneath.
Finally, you speak, your voice shaking. βKwon, please. If you care about me, youβll leave.β
βI canβt,β he says again, his voice dropping to a whisper. βYouβre all I have, Y/n. Donβt take that away from me.β
The silence stretches between you, suffocating and thick, as Kwon waits for your response. He doesnβt move from the window, his silhouette illuminated by the faint glow of a nearby streetlamp. You can feel your heart pounding in your chest, the panic rising with every passing second.
βKwon, just go,β you whisper, trying to sound firm despite the tremor in your voice.
He tilts his head, as if trying to decipher your words, and then his smile fades. βYou donβt mean that.β
βI do,β you insist, clutching your phone tighter. βThis isnβt right. You have to stopββ
Before you can finish, thereβs a loud crash. Glass shatters as Kwon punches through the window, and you scream, stumbling backward. He climbs through the broken frame with terrifying ease, his movements deliberate and calm despite the chaos heβs caused.
βSee?β he murmurs, brushing shards of glass from his sleeve. βYou keep trying to push me away, but I always come back. Because thatβs what love is, Y/n. Itβs unbreakable.β
Your legs feel like jelly as you back away, your mind racing for a way out. The door. If you can just reach the doorβ
But Kwon is faster. In the blink of an eye, heβs in front of you, his hands gripping your shoulders firmly but not harshly. His touch sends a shiver down your spine, and you struggle against him, but itβs no use.
βStop fighting,β he says softly, his dark eyes locking onto yours. βI donβt want to hurt you. I would never hurt you. But I canβt let you leave me.β
βKwon, please,β you plead, your voice breaking. βThis isnβt love. This isβthis is wrong.β
He shakes his head, a bitter laugh escaping his lips. βYou donβt understand. No one does. They all try to come between us, to take you away from me. But I wonβt let that happen. I canβt.β
His grip tightens just enough to make you wince, and he notices immediately, loosening his hold. βSee? I donβt want to hurt you,β he says again, as if trying to convince himself as much as you.
Your breaths come in shallow gasps as you try to think of somethingβanythingβthat will get through to him. βKwon, if you really care about me, youβll let me go. Youβllββ
βNo,β he interrupts, his voice sharp. βYou donβt get it, Y/n. Letting you go isnβt an option. Iβve already tried to be patient, to let you see how much I care. But you keep pulling away, and itβs killing me.β
He takes a deep breath, as if steeling himself, and then he looks at you with a chilling intensity. βIf you wonβt stay with me willingly, then Iβll just have to keep you safe myself.β
Before you can react, he moves swiftly, pulling a cloth from his pocket and pressing it over your nose and mouth. The sharp, chemical scent fills your senses, and you thrash against him, your vision blurring as the world tilts and spins.
βIβm sorry,β you hear him whisper, his voice distant and echoing. βBut this is for the best. Youβll understand one day. I promise.β
Darkness engulfs you.
.γ»γγγ».γ»γγγ»
When you wake, your head is pounding, and your vision is hazy. The first thing you notice is the feeling of soft fabric beneath youβa bed. But itβs not yours.
As your eyes adjust, you take in your surroundings. The room is dimly lit, with curtains drawn tightly over the windows. The walls are bare, the furniture sparse. Itβs unfamiliar, sterile, and eerily quiet.
Panic sets in as you sit up, your movements sluggish. Your wrists are bound with soft, silken ropeβnot tight enough to hurt, but secure enough to keep you from escaping.
And then you see him.
Kwon sits in a chair near the door, his posture relaxed but his eyes never leaving you. When he notices youβre awake, his face lights up with a smile that sends chills down your spine.
βGood morning,β he says softly, as if this were the most normal thing in the world.
βKwon,β you whisper, your voice hoarse. βWhatβwhat is this? Where am I?β
βYouβre safe,β he replies, his tone soothing. βThatβs all that matters.β
βSafe?β you repeat, your voice rising. βKwon, this isnβt safe! This isβthis is kidnapping!β
He frowns, looking genuinely hurt. βDonβt say that. Iβm doing this for you, Y/n. For us. Youβll see. Once youβre away from all those people who try to take you from me, youβll understand.β
Your mind races as you try to process his words. The calmness in his voice, the way he speaks as if this is all perfectly reasonableβitβs terrifying.
βKwon,β you say carefully, trying to keep your voice steady. βYou donβt have to do this. We can fix this. You can let me go, and weβll figure it out together.β
He shakes his head, standing and walking toward you. βYou donβt get it, do you?β he murmurs, crouching beside the bed. βI canβt let you go. Not when Iβve worked so hard to keep you safe. Youβre mine, Y/n. And Iβm yours. No one else gets to have you.β
As he reaches out to brush a strand of hair from your face, you flinch, and his expression darkens.
βDonβt be scared,β he whispers, his voice soft but laced with steel. βIβll never hurt you. But if anyone tries to take you from me... Iβll make sure they regret it.β
You swallow hard, realizing just how deep his obsession runs. Thereβs no reasoning with him, no convincing him to let you go. Youβre trapped in his world now, and the only way out is to outsmart him.
But as his eyes bore into yours, filled with equal parts devotion and madness, you wonder if youβll ever be able to escape. "Kwon, please don't do this, please." You begged and begged. Kwon met your eyes, shaking his head slowly.
"You'll learn to love me."

The sun set over the Sekai Taikai training grounds, the soft glow of twilight settling over the building. You walked through the doors, unaware of the shadow that followed your every moveβKwon Jae-sung. He leaned against the wall, his eyes never leaving you. To the world, he was just another competitor, intense and focused. But inside, a storm brewed, an obsession that grew with each passing day.
You were the only person who had shown him kindness when he first arrived. One smile, one gesture of friendship, and something inside him snapped. He needed yoy. No one else could have you.
"Hey, Y/n!" one of the other students called, jogging over to you. Kwon's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched. He watched as they spoke, their laughter like nails on a chalkboard.
No one else deserves to be near you.
Hours later, the student who had dared to approach You would find himself mysteriously injured during trainingβa "sparring accident," Kwon would say, his face expressionless.
You began to notice things. The way your friends seemed to avoid you after getting hurt, the lingering gaze you felt but couldnβt pinpoint.
One night, you stayed late, practicing alone. As you finished, you turned and found Kwon standing in the shadows, watching.
"You're... always around," you said, your voice hesitant.
He stepped closer, his eyes intense. "Iβm protecting you."
"From what?" You asked, a shiver running down your spine.
His smile was small, chilling. "From everyone who doesn't deserve you."
The tournament felt colder that night, the silence stretching between you like an invisible thread. Your heart raced, and you forced a smile, hoping to mask the unease growing inside you.
"Kwon... I don't need protection," you said cautiously, backing slightly toward the training mats. "No one's trying to hurt me."
Kwon's gaze darkened, his jaw twitching. "You donβt see it," he murmured, stepping closer, his voice barely above a whisper. "They hover around you like vultures. They donβt understand you the way I do."
Your breath hitched. "Weβre... friends, Kwon. That's all."
Something flickered in his eyesβa dangerous spark. "Friends?" he echoed, his voice laced with something almost venomous. "They donβt know what friendship means. They donβt know what loyalty is."
Before you could respond, a noise echoed from the hallwayβanother student, probably heading out for the night. Kwonβs head snapped toward the sound, eyes narrowing. You saw a flicker of something terrifying: anger, possession... a promise of violence.
"I should go," you said, edging toward the exit.
Kwonβs hand shot out, grabbing your wristοΏ½οΏ½οΏ½gentle but firm. "Donβt," he whispered, eyes softening. "I didnβt mean to scare you."
Your pulse pounded under his grip. Slowly, he released you, his expression unreadable.
"Goodnight, Kwon," you said softly, your voice trembling.
You left quickly, the air outside feeling lighter, safer. But the shadows seemed to follow you back to the hotel. Unseen, unnoticed, Kwon trailed you from a distance, eyes fixed on your silhouette, thoughts racing.
.γ»γγγ».γ»γγγ».γ»γγγ».γ»γγγ»
The tournament buzz filled the stadium, tension thick in the air. Competitors sparred, instructors barked orders, and the sounds of fists striking pads echoed off the walls. You trained harder than ever, pushing yourself, trying to shake the feeling of being watched.
Across the room, Kwon stood still, eyes locked on your every move. His hands clenched into fists, nails biting into his palms as he watched another student approach youβKenji, one of the dojoβs best fighters.
Kenji grinned. "Need a partner?"
You nodded, grateful for the distraction. You fell into rhythm, moving through drills. Each strike, each block, felt like a small victoryβuntil you noticed Kwon.
He stood at the edge of the mat, unmoving, eyes burning. Kenji didnβt seem to notice, but you felt the weight of that gaze, the unspoken threat.
A sudden misstepβa sweep kick from Kenji that sent you tumbling to the mat. He reached out a hand to help you up, and you took it, smiling sheepishly.
"Nice one," you muttered, brushing yourself off.
Kenji laughed, but the sound died abruptly. Kwon was there, stepping onto the mat, eyes locked on Kenji.
"Your form is sloppy," Kwon said coldly.
Kenji frowned. "I was justβ"
"Let's spar," Kwon interrupted, his tone icy.
You opened your mouth to protest, but something in Kwon's eyes stopped you. The match began, and it was clear from the startβthis wasnβt a sparring match. It was a punishment.
Every move Kwon made was calculated, brutal. Kenjiβs defenses crumbled, each strike more forceful than the last. A final blow sent him sprawling, gasping for breath.
"Kwon!" Your voice cut through the tension.
He turned, eyes softening instantly. "He was careless. You could've been hurt."
Your hands shook. "You didnβt have toβ"
"He doesnβt deserve to be near you," he said, voice low. "No one does."
Ypu stared at him, fear settling deep in your bones. "Youβre wrong," you whispered. "Youβre not protecting me. Youβre... scaring me."
For a moment, something like pain crossed his face. "I canβt lose you," he said, almost to himself. "Not to them. Not to anyone."
He turned and walked away, leaving you standing in the middle of the mat, surrounded by the echoes of violence.
.γ»γγγ».γ»γγγ».γ»γγγ».γ»γγγ»
That Night, you couldnβt sleep. Every shadow seemed to hide something, every creak of the floorboards made you jump. You checked the locks on your hotel door, and the windows.
A knock at the door.
You froze.
Slowly, you approached it, heart pounding. "Who is it?"
Silence. Thenβ"Itβs me."
Kwonβs voice, soft but insistent.
"I just want to talk," he said, his tone almost pleading. "Please."
You backed away from the door. "Go back to your room, it's safer there, Kwon."
A pause. "You are my safe place."
The words sent a shiver down your spine. Footsteps retreated, and you sank to the floor, trying to calm your racing heart.
Outside, Kwon stood under the dim hallway hotel lights, eyes fixed on your door. No one else deserves you, he thought. No one else will have you.
