jjk is... crude, if that makes sense? like he was left out of civilisation and stashed in some cave. he feels awkward to even say “you look beautiful” out loud. scratches his neck a lot when he is feeling nervous and the only thing that makes kaiho!jjk nervous is acting like a normal boyfriend and/or husband. how do you serenade someone? how do you tell them that you love them and are happy that they are in your life? guess, he will never know.

i mean this is kth we are talking about. mans legit sneers, scowls, wears a permanent frown. however, on the rarest of rare days, he likes lying down on the bed with his darling, her back to his chest (his ego would not allow him to be the small spoon) while he holds her close, his arms enveloping around her. soft conversations and soft touches that burn into your skin.

if he genuinely courted his darling, i am guessing it would include him taking her out a lot to those fancy ass expensive places like exclusive clubs where general civilians are generally not allowed entry; basically any place where he would be able to show off his financial prowess or maybe he calls her to the hospital “drop by the hospital and we will leave together” which is just a ploy to show off how good he is at his job. he is kind of the insufferable show-off who gets on everyone’s nerves, lmao.

will there ever be another guy who likes to be so physical? pjm is the human version of “touch”. if his darling is in his vicinity then he HAS to have his hands on her some way or other. he is extremely outwardly affectionate. praises and words of affirmation dripping from his lips at all times.

he did court his darling. took her out on meaningful and memorable dates where they talked endlessly for hours. their dating phase was probably the most non-toxic and wholesome phase in all of tatemae series.

technically, he was the one who approached his darling first but that was ‘cause he got caught staring at her and not because he was trying to court her. hell, that was never in the question because it was immoral and unethical. had his darling not caught onto his gaze, then knj would not be have approached or even think of courting his darling. he would have buried his small crush deep within and never talk about it to another soul. so, it was a matter of chance.

not the most affectionate guy. most of it is ‘cause he grew up in a family who do not believe in showing outward love. when his darling shows him affection, he enjoys it but also simultaneously freezes up because he is not sure how to react to it. the most the darling is getting is him holding her hands with those soft squeezes and eye smiles.

he was brought up was as a gentleman. courting for him is whatever is portrayed in the victorian era media. taking his darling out to super elite restaurants and sharing dinner in pure etiquette or spending a sunny day out by the rivers for a sweet sunday picnic. wearing those hideous off-white shirts and draping the sweater around his shoulders — you get the visual? 🤭🤣

he likes the “co-existing” aspect. nothing too overly physical. just being in the same room, breathing the same air and just “being” around each other. that is what warms his cold little heart. would be a bonus if his darling and him are laying on the bed, their bodies touching and/or brushing against each other at some junction. talks are optional and consequently, rare.

myg is not exactly the charmer of the lot. he is the person who gets courted or there is no way the relationship would work. he drowns himself in work and rarely turns an eye to his personal life. he needs someone in his life who will pull him out for breaks and spend some time with him. maybe, that is why he is so fond of his darling because when he comes home to a not-so-empty house, it does make him feel better.

yes! yes! yes! he is super paranoid and downright irrational when around his darling but to the world? he is the super chic, calm, collected, cool advocate who can win any case that he sets his mind to.
