Azul sat at his desk, scribbling some notes and making calculations for his latest business venture - or so he told you. In fact, you knew he was just writing down information about the new students to use at the most opportune moment. Distracted, you took to observe him, his soft smile that graced his face, the twinkle on his eyes, hair slowly cascading over his eyes momentarily as his glasses slipped through his nose.

He was so handsome, so cute when he was focused on something, you couldn't help but squeal and giggle, feeling your heart swell with love as the seconds go by.

He looked up, without a doubt being capable of feeling a distinct pair of eyes fixed on him and he found your gaze, lingering, intense and filled with an emotion he couldn’t quite place.

"Is there something on my face, angelfish?" He asked, trying to keep his tone light but unable to hide the nervous edge in his voice.

Your attention made him acutely aware of every little flaw he imagined in himself. Memories from his childhood surfaced, of taunts and jokes about his weight, the sting of rejection and the loneliness that followed making him isolate himself till he met the twins. To this day, he had worked hard to change his appearance but those scars ran deep and the insecurities lingered. You knew it.

And it hurt you to know that he may not think much about himself because of his fears. He was perfect in every way.

"C'mere, take a little break." You motioned for him to sit beside you.

Gathering his courage, he stood and made his way over to where you sat. You were smiling warmly but he could only feel his heart beating loudly.

You shook your head, still smiling. "No, nothing at all."

"Then why do you keep staring at me like that?" He pressed, his voice softer now, filled with an uncertainty that made your heart ache.

You reached out, gently taking his hand and pulling him to sit beside you. His cheeks flushed slightly at the contact, his fingers trembling ever so slightly in your grasp.

"Azul," You mutter, your voice tender and reassuring, "I look at you because I find you incredibly cute."

He blinked, taken aback by your words. "Cute?"

You nodded, releasing his hand to cup his face, your thumb brushing lightly over his cheek. "Yes, cute. You’re handsome and intelligent, but more than that, there’s something about you that’s just... endearing. I love seeing the way you concentrate, the way your eyes light up when you talk about something you're passionate about. The sound of your voice is so smooth and soothing. I love to hear you talking about your day and the things you've done."

Azul felt his heart swell with emotions he rarely allowed himself to feel. He searched your eyes for any hint of insincerity but found only warmth and affection.

Before he could find the words to respond, you leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to his lips. It was soft, brief, but it conveyed everything you felt. When you pulled back, you saw the surprise and happiness in his eyes.

"I... I don't know what to say," He admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.

"You don't have to say anything," You replied, guiding his face to rest over your chest as you played with his hair so gently and calmly, twirling the strands. "Just know that I love you, Azul, exactly as you are."

He felt a weight lift off his shoulders, the insecurities that had plagued him for so long fading just a little under your gaze. For the first time in a long time, he allowed himself to believe that maybe, just maybe, he was worth loving.

You always wondered what it was like to be in their shoes. If you were them... could you do better?

As the clock struck twelve, a sense of exhaustion overwhelms your entire being, yet you didnt seem to notice your eyelids getting heavier as the new seconds ticks by.

Before you could read another page of the current book you hold, you fell asleep.

- you admitted that you only have your uncles for family outside of silver but- something allways felt off about them until you developed your magic. Then you learned that your uncles were fae that took you in and blessed you with the voice of a song bird, a sweet soul, and everlasting protection from blot

- when silver asked about the last one you explained that when you were young aparantly you were very sick from blot you nearly overblotted and died- so now you rest as a rose grows on you to drain any bit of blot developed

- silver could empathize with falling asleep willy nilly- and just- wanted to protect you from any being who wanted to use you for their own gain... I mean- if someone made you use enough magic you could sleep for 100 years! And then he couldn't be with you any more... and you two would miss out on eachother more...

- after the VDC ended Silver managed to convince you to stay with him in Diasomnia, I mean- you were allready about to pass out, may aswell stay somewhere nearby-

- Silver takes very good care of you and makes sure you develop just enough blot while the two of you spend time together that you can't leave the doorm at all-

- he dosent neglect his duties to Malleus of course- you're often sleeping while he has to do other things around the school and the doorm-

- he treasures you like a younger sibling, because you are siblings, right?- you said so yourself!

(let’s continue where we left off) "Why, why, why, WHY...?! I don't understand angelfish!? I thought you had promised me that you would love me no matter how much I changed!?" Azul said as you then tried to let go of his grasp, his hold got stronger on you as he grabbed your cheeks and turned your face to his direction. As he was losing his patience, his blue eyes were bawling down into tears he was getting emotionally distressed. He then wipes his tears away and lets out a choked sob. "Sniff ...t..t..that is fine. If I cannot have you, then I guess it's best that we seal the deal that we made in the past." Azul looks at you with a twisted, evil smile, looking down at the nautilus shell necklace that he gave you. He then pins you down into the sand. making sure that you are immobile to move as you were bound by his tentacles with each of your limbs tied from your legs to your shoulders from your waist almost being possessively groped by his strong clutch. "If I can't have you to myself, then I will forcefully! take you with me into the sea; that way, no one can find us!" Azul said as you were struggling to let go of his strong grasp while you were pinned down to the sand, Azul was now singing a melody that made your nautilus shell glow. You then looked away in the other direction of his face so that you were not facing him and paying attention to his melody but it’s was too late to resist. He then keeps singing the same melody until your body is paralyzed by his beautiful song, almost like a siren luring its sailors to their fate. You were no longer having consciousness in your mind or being aware of what was going on around you as Azul was on top of you he stopped singing seeing how you are now possessed by his song. He then caresses your cheek and leans into your dazed expression, almost closing the gap between the two of you as he whispers something sinister in your ear. "You are safe with me, Angelfish. No one can claim you but me. But don't worry, you poor unfortunate soul, once I claim you. You will be living with me in the coral sea, and someday you will learn to love me as much as I have loved you do I make myself" clear?" Azul said. As you were now dazed and being controlled by Azul melody spell you then nod "Yes, Azul, I shall forever be part of your world. No one else but you," you said as your voice sounded emotionless. "Good, that is just what I wanted to hear," he says,his breath hitches between your lips as he soon lays you down in a comfortable position for you to lay on the sand. his tentacles were still tied to you. He leans in and kisses your lips. taking in how you tasted as he holds your head in place to support you as he then bit your lips, forcing you to open your mouth so he can slip his tongue just enough to enter the warm cavern in your mouth. You could taste the wild ocean and salt as Azul sealed your fate with a kiss, bounding your soul with him for all eternity since there is no escape from his clutch, not even land and sea, as he already loves you, and he hopes you can understand how compassionate he is to love you unconditionally.

You drank down your glass of mixed ‘mystery’ liquid—which you assume was champagne, though what kind you couldn’t quite tell. Though by the looks of the labels on the bottles, which were fancy, and bold; giving off a slight vintage feel, you could only assume the price of whatever you were drinking down, was something way out of your personal spending budget. 

When Azul had invited you to a ball, you didn’t really think much of it—the fancy gifts, and outfits he had given you, all for this ‘ball’, never once struck you as unordinary,.. It could’ve been the obliviousness, or trusting nature, you’ve grown to have.. After all, it’s not always that you’d get to experience something as grand as a, grand ball—The name even has the word, grand in it! So, why overthink it?

It could’ve been the alcohol, clouding your judgment at that very moment, but you found yourself interacting with many random people, instead of your original plan of just staying in a corner—and hopefully sneaking a bunch of the snacks and aesthetically packaged candies into your bag. No one could’ve really blamed you for your hustling behavior, after all, the moment you entered Twisted Wonderland, you were put under rather…—poor conditions… 

“Hey little shrimpy!”, you froze at the sound of the familiar voice, “Floyd?” you peaked out from your corner spot at the snack table; turning around to face the tall man, “Have you seen Azul?” he asked you, his tone was slightly concerned—something unlike Floyd, but you’d rather not overthink the gesture, after all.. It couldn’t be that bad.. 

“I’m offended, we haven’t seen each other in so long, and the first thing you ask is, ‘where’s azul?’”, you joked, trying to calm the tense atmosphere around him. 

Floyd let out a nervous chuckle in response, “Sorry Shrimpy.. Kinda’ busy here, ya’ see..”, you nod at his response, letting out a soft sigh, “Haven’t seen Azul since morning… sorry.” you shrugged slightly, “Ah— I could’ve sworn he was around here!, hey lil shrimpy’, do me a tinsy little favor, and call me when you see Azul? Kay…?”; you nodded in response, letting out another deep sigh, as you watched the man skim away, into the crowds of people.. Wondering just what kind of a rukus happened, that made Floyd, of all people, worried.. 

You sat down, in a small corner, it had been an hour since your interaction with Floyd, and you’ve met up with some old classmates, and met many, many new faces—needless to say, you were quite drained from the event, and had hoped there would be something interesting going on, not to mention you were still rather curious about, whatever the hell had Floyd so riled up. You even spotted his beloved twin, Jade, skimming around the ballroom as well—and you assume they were both in search of their friend.

As the clock strikes ten, you couldn’t help but feel bored and quite frankly tired… Until, a certain silver-haired men, appeared. 

Azul walked up behind you slowly, nudging your back a bit, “Are you alive, my dear?” he asks with a smile, as he watched your head perk up, “When did you get here?”, you asked, brows raised slightly, “Right now, actually….” he shifts in his spot slightly and you could see how his gaze softens at the sight of you, “The dance is going to start soon, care to join me?”, he lends out a hand, and you graciously accept it, “If I step on your feet, I’m not sorry..”, you joked as he leads you to the dance floor. 

You felt his hands wrap around your waist, holding you in place firmly, yet his grip wasn’t as tight as you expected; his hold was secure as the two of you waltzed around the ballroom, staring into eachothers eyes… you sensed something was wrong, as your gut twisted and turned, but you couldn’t quite name it. You didn’t want to name it, as you stared into Azul’s ocean eyes, that seemed so sweet—so pure.. and in love. 

The clock struck a quarter past eleven, as the two of you were on the balcony, catching your breaths from racing your way up here, the two of you enjoyed the sight of the stars, together, enjoying eachothers company, talking about all the things you could really chat about—recalling old school memories, plans for the future, going over things, catching up with eachothers lives.. all that fun, friendly stuff.. 

“You’re wearing the outfit I got you!” he chuckled, his grin growing wide, as he looked at you up and down, “I thought you already noticed—well it is your ball… I should dress in what the host wants, no?”. He chuckled at your response, feeling a slight tint of red approach his cheeks, something you failed to notice, or at least disregarded fully.  

Azul carefully lead you back to the dance floor, and the feeling in your gut only surged, and you pushed it to the side, it was probably just jitters of dancing infront of so many others, who seemed to have been staring at you quite intently, you felt their gaze on you, as it dig holes into your skin, “are you ok?” azul asked, slowly raising your chin with his hands, and you nodded slightly, letting out a soft chuckle in response, warmth spread across your face.. He was ever so sweet and gentle, the kindest man you’ve ever met… Caring for your health, and wellbeing, he was always there for you..

 “You know y/n… I…” and as he spoke, that clock struck the twelfth hour, his grip tightened on your jaw.. everything went quiet.. The music being the only background noise there was, no one in sight. The crowds were all gone, and those beautiful ocean blue eyes were tinted dark, impure, they looked lovesick—No.. The glint in his eyes was obsessive and cruel, as his soft warm, lively… smile disappeared..

The Asim, they are known for their wealth and their trades. They're a super big powerful family with a lot of people (both loyal and not loyal) under them. They kind of give "untouchable kings" vibes. Theyre still really nice to their "people", you just don't see them a lot, or at all really. The only way to really "talk to them" is by talking to someone in their circle but there are layers into that circle. some people thinks that their family is shady, like the rich people act is a persona to hide something but no one really has proof.

But you really don't have to worry about that. You have your own stuff to worry about, like living expenses. You were basically living on the streets, barely living. You did side jobs to get by. maybe you'll clean or maybe you'll babysit. when you were a kid, you always wanted to help people. But with your home life, money, you couldn't really get to your dreams even if you tried. you stopped school pretty early and its a little too late for you to get back into it. plus what school will accept you. you lived in a community where rich gets richer and medium class becomes poor... I guess that's where you are, what your luck...

you were heading to your next "job" place. you had to clean for a really sweet old couple, the Wrights. They couldn't afford much either but they try to help you whenever they can. Example, you clean places that they cant reach, in exchange they give you dinner, as much as they can. you always wish them good health. they are too sweet for this unfair world.

you were lost in your head, enjoying the memories and conversation you had with them. But when you to their place, you see 3 grown men towering over Mr. Wright.

"please understand.. we aren't here for trouble but your son does owe us some money. were just here to collect."

"please.. we havent seen our son in months. hes not here."

The way he spoke gave you chills. You hated it. it was too sweet when you knew that the words he spoke are laced with poison.

You had to take a long deep breath, you're risking a lot for even thinking this... but you had to. you were the only able person to protected these people who gave you more than you've asked.

the next few weeks you learned what they did, kind of, and what they needed of you. they didn't tell you 100% of everything but you were supposed to be their servant, or an errand boy, or something like that?

the job wasn't bad at all. you cleaned, get anything they need, run things for them. sometimes they call you for... personal reasons. In exchange you get 3 meals a day and a comfortable room. which honestly, you weren't complaining. before, you would have one meal a day and even sleep on either a hard floor or a gross mattress. At this rate, after you finish paying off the Wright's debt, you might just stay here.

sometimes the job brings pretty scary people that show up out of nowhere. they often had big weapons to their side, some would have the weapons ready and loaded. Jade, Floyd, or Azul often gets you out of the way and most times tell you to cover your ears and close your eyes. sometimes they have you clean up their messes after these scary men... "leave." you knew better but you cant really say or do anything about it so.. you just don't question it.

after a month, you thought you get used to your new home life now but- you accidentally ran into someone or someone ran into you.

the mysterious man helped you up. he had bright red eyes and white white that complement his dark skin every nicely. he had a black dress shirt and a red suit with gold accents, red dress pants to match. when he helped you up, you notice he's hands are really soft. big contrast to your hands.

he was about to run away but stopped and sheepishly turn and smile at you. it kind of reminded you of a happy teenage.

"actually... do you know where the Mostro lounge is? i... i think im lost. hehe." he scratched the back of his head. the embrassement on his face was slowly growing on you because he kept smiling.

He had the same outfit as the white hair man but they both wore it differently. which wasnt a bad thing. it compliment their personalities. Like jade, floyd, and azul do with their suits too.

Shaking their head as they clutched their bag tightly did they follow their fellow college student. It was a trip for students that did exceptionally on their test, and [MC] somehow managed to do well on it to go on the trip. They didn't really pay attention to what the trip was about as their mind was more on trying to finish many of the tasks they held in all the games they had. They were more on the games than college at the moment due to being addicted.

Which made it all the more surprising they even scored well enough to go on this test.

Maybe there really was an ultimate being listening to them.

"[MC]!!!!!"

Getting out of their thoughts they board the ship towards an island that only had visitors about three to five times a year.

Miriam Island was an island they heard little about. Rumors and news always covered the island as no pictures were ever managed to be taken of anything. Phones would go dead miles before you see the island with satellites not picking up where the island is either. The only way to actually get a picture of the island was through a picture or someone describing it. And it didn't help that if you weren't naturally from the island, then you couldn't find it. So those that sailed to find the island failed or disappeared mysteriously. Mariam islanders sail all the boats in and out of the island, so the government also has no calls whatsoever on the island as well.

Those who come from the island also seem to forget some of the details of what goes on the island but everyone knew it was an island deep in mysteries that everyone in higher power wants.

They couldn't care less for all of this nonsense. They wanted to go back home to their apartment while trying to get Shenhe from Genshin Impact. They worship her, they love Shenhe, well, platonically. [MC] knew if they met Shenhe in real life, they would die for her and shower her in (platonic) love.

Shaking their head as their eyes looked at their friend, Dylan. Dylan was about 5'9'' in height with slim features. Their skin is more peachy than their pale skin with freckles sparking up from time to time. Dylan had dyed highlights of green into dark brown hair complimented with onyx eyes. Dylan identified as male but they had stated they don't mind being addressed by they/them from time to time. His outfit consisted of a dark green shirt that had a little pocket on the left breast with the words 'FU-' stitched into the pocket. He wore jean shorts that reached the knees with military-style boots. Dylan always stated boots were 'awesome' and never wore flip-flops for as far back [MC] knew them. They remember meeting each other back in middle school and then reuniting in college.

"And if I was? I love Shenhe platonically!!!"

"Dude, you practically brought a plushy of Shenhe along this trip!!! We are only going to be gone for three days [MC]!!!!"

The sea was clear with no signs of pollution or anything unnatural as if the outside world can never touch the very sands of this island. Their bag rested snugly on their back as they followed the group dutifully. It was quite beautiful to see nature in full bloom along with the very buildings looking natural with their surroundings. But [MC] did notice a curious little detail among all the buildings and plants.

"Why are there icky creatures among all this rubbish?"

[MC] couldn't help but send Diana, a popular girl, a glare for daring to voice that. What she called 'icky creatures' were actually multiple paintings and statues of octopi.

They held nothing against the paintings and statues as they were naturally curious about octopi in general. Their favorite of species is the blue-ringed octopus due to their poisonous but beautiful rings. They held a healthy amount of adoration for octopi due to finding videos of them playing or having fun. So hearing Diana saying this negative view of them was cranking up their 'punch of bitch' meter.

The local also seems to frown at her words, looking abit insulted.

"Those 'icky creatures' as you call them are our local begins we adore deeply. They symbolize creativity along with the brain proving better than brawn through wit and intelligence. They are always adapting to their surroundings, finding ways to solve their problems than fighting through tough situations."

Diana rolled their eyes as [MC] got a mischievous idea.

"That and they are proven to be smart. Octopi are proven to be smart or even better than humans in the emotions department. So, I imagine they are a better company than you're fake being."

Diana glared at [MC] as they growled out the sentence with clenched teeth. Everyone was just watching the show it seems.

"What was that?"

[MC] gained a fake confused look while looking at her.

"I guess you're less intelligent than I thought. See, this is why octopi are better companions than humans. They have better conversations than you any day Diana."

"Why you little-"

A teacher grabbed Diana as she cursed out [MC]. [MC] didn't give a fuck as they went back to admiring the little statues while still hugging Mr.Indigo. They found the little statues adorable while trying to guess the species.

It was quite funny to mess with Diana as a bonus.

You agreed, and it was fine for a few days until some tentacles wrapped around the ship, causing everyone to panic. You looked closer to see it was Azul causing this chaos. You immediately knew it was him. beneath the surface of the waters, his blue, electric eyes pierced into yours, looking hungry and obsessed as if you were his next fine prey. Your coworkers let out a frightened cry. as a large tentacle was being wrapped around by one of their waists, including their legs, preventing them from squirming. and was now yanking towards Azul direction, being thrown into the water with a loud splash and dragged down into the sea, only for you to be distracted.   "AZUL, STOP THIS MADNESS.!!! You are hurting innocent people because of your obsessiveness!! Please calm down so we can talk and fix this!" you said.  Azul didn't listen; as he was being stubborn, he didn't want to hurt anyone, nor you, but he had to in order to get what he wants due to his uncontrollable greed. as you were being distracted by a poor unfortunate soul who is being dragged down into the sea by Azul's bondage of his tentacles. You suddenly felt two scaly clawed hands that were grabbing both of your arms, almost tugging into your skin. You then turned around and saw two eel twins. one twin looked like His eyes angle downward, with a wide, sharp-toothed grin on his face. while the other eel twin brother had a formal smile, but that smile fades into a threat as Jade and Floyd dragged you into the deep ocean with them. 

"Hehehe~ little shrimp thought that she could run with her useless legs. How annoying, honestly. Didn't ya know that you broke our boss's heart? It's quite pathetic to see Shrimpy causing problems with Azul.” Floyd says as he turns to his brother Jade. 

"Indeed, it is quite criminal to be led astray by someone who loves you dearly so much that you abandoned them, but our boss would be more than happy to see your warm, welcome when you make your visit to him." Jade says as his big smile is showing, making his sharp, pearly whites show in the obscure ocean light Jade and Floyd then drugged you and blindfolded you as you then felt your body go unconscious and your vision becomes blurry you then drifted to sleep in the depths of the Ocean. You woke up feeling tired as you felt the waves crash in between your legs and the soft sand soak into your feet. You got up and looked around, and you realized you were at the same beach you used to visit. As your vision was now clear as day, suddenly you felt a tentacle wrapped around your waist, and you began to be frightened when you noticed Azul was sitting right next to you on the sandy shore. You were frightened by his presence so. You pushed him away, knowing what he had done to all your coworkers and friends who had been killed because of his obsessiveness over you. He then extends another tentacle and possessively wraps around your form so that you don't run away from his loving grasp. "I am doing this for you. To show you how serious I was about our relationship. I can't let you leave, not now. Not ever." Azul says. You could feel his tentacles tightening around your waist until you were brought closer to him.. Azul would hold you close to his chest looking down at you with a look of gentleness and love, his eyes were lovesick he held you in his grasp. "I am sorry, Azul, but I cannot forgive you for what you did to the people that drowned and lost their lives because you cannot control your greed. I just cannot accept this side of you; I suppose it's best if we... just" Before you could even continue, you felt Azul grasp tighter around your form to the point where you could not breathe. "Azul, what are you …doing? "I can't …breathe," you said as his tentacles tightened around your form, from your waist to your neck, preventing you from getting air flow into your lungs. You then saw Azul's eyes bawl out in tears, just as you saw him cry as a kid when he was insecure about his past self. "Why, why, why, WHY...?!

Yet, those are just wandering thoughts for the Vil Schoenheit, but he will stand up for you if one of his acquaintances, from the industry or the school, insults you, he won't tolerate it. That person will get fired the very next day or will face the wrath of the most beautiful man in the world.
