Could I request a Metro Yandere Artyom? Maybe it could be all three games in a concept? Or if not it could be Metro 2033 since it is the first game in the series

I'll do a general concept that can be applied to all three games if you want :) I'm sorry his character may be off... still new to the series!

Yandere! Artyom Concept

Pairing: Platonic -> Romantic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Overprotective behavior, Manipulation, Violence, Murder, Blood mention, Trust issues, Paranoia, Subtle yandere, Dubious companionship/relationship.

Metro creates a world infested with factions, mutants, and rampant radiation.

In that case I can see Artyom being protective of another human in the Metro.

Perhaps Artyom met you before he met Anna.

As a result you two often work together to survive the hellish world filled with nuclear fallout.

Artyom is a silent protagonist said to be thoughtful and well-meaning... although is also described as inexperienced.

He is a skilled scout and you two are most likely both Rangers.

I feel, like most silent protagonist yanderes, Artyom is protective over you.

After all, have you seen the dangers in the Metro series?

Mutants, cannibals, all sorts of different human factions... and radiation damage.

Naturally Artyom wants to keep you alive as an ally.

Friends are hard to come across in these lands, he's only ever known the Metro when growing up.

The surface isn't safe, but the people everywhere aren't really safe either.

You might have grown up alongside Artyom.

This would've made you both close since the start.

Artyom's obsession is either him being overly protective due to you being close friends... or him seeing you as a lover now that you're both grown up.

Artyom doesn't fully develop a possessive quality in his obsession, this is because he's mostly focusing on how dangerous others are.

He is still aware that others can take you easily... but not in the romantic sense.

He feels everyone and everything could kill you.

So he doesn't really have the time to be possessive.

The only time I can see that happening is if you were close to others he knows are allies.

Even then he's mostly just wary.

Artyom is used to violence.

If anyone threatened you, Artyom is close by with a weapon.

Kindness is not a common trait in these radiated lands.

Artyom knows this and most likely makes you know it too.

The only kindness you should expect is from him.

As a result, Artyom may manipulate you into relying on him.

He's been beside you since childhood, hasn't he?

Artyom doesn't care if he's stained red when looking after you.

He probably trusts you the most out of anyone he's met.

Even when he meets Anna in this concept he feels you're the perfect one for him.

You may even go along with it since... well... Artyom has protected you so far, right?

Your dear childhood friend would never betray you.

He rarely leaves your side, always checking your mask to make sure you don't contract any illness.

He even makes sure you watch every step so you don't fall.

He doesn't let anyone separate you, you both scout together.

Artyom wants you close so you both don't hurt yourself and no mutant or faction hurts you.

If they did... Artyom's seeing red.

There's no need to focus on the monsters of this world...

Artyom distracts you, holding your face gently.

Artyom may be a yandere to successfully obtain his darling.

Mostly because you have no reason to distrust him.

His more "toxic" traits are excused since it's hard to trust others.

You can't tell if he's manipulating you or is genuinely protective.

As a result... you reciprocate his affection when he holds you.

When he kisses you... you don't fight.

Don't you love him? He does so much for you!

Who cares if he threatens others... who cares if he isolates you?

In a world crawling with threats... perhaps he has a point.

Artyom loves you... he protects you... he isolates you... he smothers you...

Why should you trust anyone else in a tainted world such as this?

This is a stupid thought but its been eating away at my mind and since your the only metro blog I've lurked in

I might as well share it, okay so, if the metro guys were yanders I'd imagine it would be both horrifying or down right amusing

Firstly, Pavel, this motherfucker maybe chaotic evil, and sometimes act like a caring and friendly guy but if you become something of an obsession to him RUN because he will either force you to join him and force you into loving him or beat the living shit out of you until you submit

Artyom, he's a bean, will never hurt you but to others, if anyone is looking at you funny this cute Russian man will stare at them with the most chaotic filled glare he could muster, and either ward them off or threaten them, he's the main protagonist so saying no to him is like saying no to death, yes he may be sad at first if you say no but he will be a yandere best friend who wards off anyone who holds feelings for you be it, friends or strangers, he just wants you to himself without you realizing it.

Ulman my boy my favorite, this dude will be a calm and more of a playful yandere, he'll lure you in with his personality, he'll hold onto you as long as possible considering I imagine he uses comedy as a way to cope with depression so after Boris's death in 2033 he'll be clinging onto you

Thank you for your ask. I'm afraid I can't really contribute a lot to your thoughts since I really don't not know a lot about this whole "yandere"-thing and the discourse around it. I stumble across it now and then but it's not really a thing I'm interested in.

You could always write about it yourself, though. The Metro fandom is sooooo small and new Metro blogs are sparse. You obviously put a lot of thought into this ask (which is great) so why not make posts like this into your own blog?

After researching Metro your Anon name makes sense, lol! I'll try my best to write Anna... I had to gather her personality from scenes as no wiki said it. I'm focusing on her Exodus personality, sorry if something is off... still new!

Yandere! Anna Miller Concept

Pairing: Platonic -> Romantic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Stalking, Manipulation, Overprotective behavior, Paranoia, Trust issues, Violence, Subtle possessive yandere, Subtle yandere behavior, Dubious relationship.

Anna may appear cold or focused at times... but she does genuinely care for her allies.

She is one of the most skilled snipers for the Rangers, she probably actually met her darling through the Rangers.

You've proven yourself to be a Scout and work to find supplies.

Similar to Artyom, she falls into protective behavior.

Naturally she wishes to look out for you due to your job.

She's a sniper so she ends up placing her scope on you to follow you wherever you go.

She plays her behavior off as just being concerned for you since you're a crucial part of the Rangers.

She always checks over your equipment and checks you for any injuries.

If she catches something wrong she asks her father to order you to stay at the base.

Anna has times where she can be ruthless or stern... but she does hold care towards others.

She scolds you if you're reckless and you can never seem to lie to her.

Mostly because she's stalking your every move through her scope when she can't be around you.

Similarly to Artyom's concept, she may also try to make you rely on her.

After all, she's the one monitoring your scouting runs.

She takes care of any threat before they harm you.

Even when you're unaware she followed you, you're reminded of her presence when a bullet flies through the skull of an enemy in front of you.

Her father doesn't usually approve of her outings to follow you... but he can never seem to stop his daughter.

Anna doesn't care what her father thinks... she wants to make sure you're safe.

At first her obsession is definitely just friendly.

Everything she does is to protect you and keep you out of harm.

Especially near the end of the Dark Ones war.

In fact, I highly doubt Anna lets you participate in that final battle.

Her father and Artyom wanted her to stay out of it... so she wants you out of it too.

While that final battle happens she probably spends time getting to know you more, claiming it was the best decision to keep you out of the battle.

Even when Anna's feelings towards you begin to turn romantic... she still feels just as protective over you.

She isn't really possessive for the same reasons as Artyom, most of the people and creatures in this world just wish to kill you.

Although... with allies? Maybe then Anna shows some aggression.

Like with Artyom... she cares for him but gets defensive when he brings you up.

If people say Anna is being too obsessive about your safety, she tells them off.

She cares for you... she loves you... you'll see that soon enough.

It gets to the point she doesn't like you on your usual missions anymore.

Her father tries to object, but Anna ends up confessing the fact she adores you too much to see you slowly die to the radiation outside.

In that moment... her father decides to enable his daughter just enough to aid her efforts.

Miller takes you off of scouting missions, he claims it's just for a little while.

Yet afterwards Anna starts to get more affectionate.

She's more flirtatious with you, always wanting you in her sight.

Soon enough she may manage to convince you to give in to her affections.

She's taking your first kiss... holding you close... whispering that you don't need to scout anymore.

Artyom can scout for you, he's the best at it.

Just... give in to her.

She knows everything about you.

She loves you... and deep down she knows you love her too.

If you refuse and say you can't give up your job... that you can't give in and be with her...

Anna shows extreme disappointment.

But... oh well...

She'll have to try harder to convince you.

She knows you love her... how could you not when she's watching over you?

Even if you say no... she'll never let you go to anyone else... even if it means locking you in the base with just her to speak to.... away from all the danger and people the world offers.

Just gonna drop something one my friends thought of a few weeks ago when on a call with a few others I think this is a bit of talk on the main character Artyom if he were Yandere

"The thing that would make a Yandere from Metro terrifying would be if it were any of the main characters, take Artyom for example he is legit peak Protagonist energy but there is a limit, if it's a self-aware game with a real-world darling it would be more tame as the yandere is aware they are in a video game but if they break out from the games code it's going to act as a virus, it doesn't matter if your on PC or console hell even switch it will try to break other games just so you keep playing metro, it may start as small like maybe causing a few bugs in other games even deleting save data or corrupting save files and if that doesn't work it may even delete the games code or even uninstall or refuse the game to download. If it's a yandere with a darling in the metro world that'd be much more dangerous, like Artyom in the game he is immune to the dark ones and he can communicate with them so if you the person of his affection met Artyom during the events of last light you would sort of be fucked as Artyom could use the help of the baby dark one either to try and alter you so you would also be immune or cause you some sort of mental damage as the dark ones are known to incapacitate any humans that show aggression towards them. If you do somehow leave him it won't take long for Artyom to locate you since plot armor and being experienced in tracking down stuff be it creatures or even having to traverse areas he will find you. But you also have to be experienced yourself as the tunnels in the metro are dangerous on their own so you either have to fight your way through or bribe a caravan to travel with them to another major station. You also need to be aware that he is a spartan ranger which makes him very dangerous to face in combat or even trying to escape, doesn't matter who you are, male, female, big or small he can or will take you out. I mean he did fight a mutated bear that is the size of a Volkswagen beetle that was as tall as Shaquil Oneil. But if it's any of the others it's a whole different story."

Just a slight heads up on if you write Artyom again, he has lost a good amount of people, I picture his yandere self to be a tad more possessive, not in the jealous way more so in the manipulative keeping darling safe, just a me head cannon ngl since I view Artyom's yandere self to be a lot more softcore manipulative in a way a darling wouldn't notice or just view him as being concerned and protective which isn't uncommon in the Metro, in order to keep ones loved ones safe is to be protective as is Miller towards Anna, who is his only daughter as her mother ended up unaliving herself with poison when Anna was only a girl, but yeah Artyom toe seems the type to not let others especially darling in on his manipulation, to others it just looks like artyom is being his usual concerned and protective self

I do see him as the jealous sort of Alyosha flirts with darling as in the beginning of Exodus he seems like the flirty kind but friendly, though I do feel Artyom may get a tad bit jealous of him only just like a smidge not full on
