YALL. AFTER 10 DAYS I FINISHED IT AND LET ME TELL YOU ALL THIS: HOLY FUCKING SHIT THAT WAS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I HAVE EVER WATCHED IN MY LIFE. like oh my god so many things happened (and pom still doesn’t have his wallet back HSFKJFSH jkjk) i can’t even make a typical lengthed post about it because it would be leaving out like 3/4ths of the episode,,,, alright let’s begin this because i have So Many Things to say and i have to go to sleep soon SJFJSKFH (also i have to watch the trailer for the gifted graduation AAAAAA)

i’m gonna try the dots list thingy in this one because i know it’s gonna be long and a mess so.. lessgetit !

let’s start with the directors board meeting or whatever that was called,, pang was such a fucking badass holy fuck i admire his bravery but i HATE every single person in that room like..

someone just told you that the director of the school has been treating the students like SHIT and using them as guinea pigs for the gifted kids who are ALSO being used as guinea pigs and you just.. clap? and turn your back against him? holy SHIT did that infuriate me,,,

now thinking about it.. maybe the director mind controlled them to do so since yeah guess fucking WHAT. SURPRISE. THE THEORY WAS TRUE. HE CAN ALSO MIND CONTROL PEOPLE. AND HE’S REALLY FUCKING GOOD AT THAT.

[takes a deep breath] i will Not talk about him because it literally makes me want to commit a crime on a fictional character.

also, the scene before pang goes in the conference room with namtaan literally broke my heart yall...... like,, my heart? nowhere to be seen because its pieces are so small they’re almost invisible.

namtaan crying because she thinks that pang doesn’t trust her or ohm? namtaan saying that pang was lying when he said he cared about those around him? pang having to mind control namtaan to make her stay there and not follow him? yeah that shit really fucking hurted yall.

so in this scene we find out that when pom says the director is always a step in front of you, it’s true! that motherfucker staged it all and made pang’s story look like it was staged or whatever just so he could get more money and continue his reign in that school.............. i literally hate him so much

and he then fucking PUT HIM IN FRONT OF ALL OF THE GIFTED KIDS AND MADE HIM CRY. CRY. MY BABY. HE MADE HIM CRY!!!!!!!!! HE MADE HIM THINK HE WOULD NEVER WIN. EVER. HE ALSO MADE HIM LOOK LIKE A FOOL AND A TRAITOR. I FUCKING HATE HIM AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

[takes a deep breath] god okay i need to calm down this man gets me on my fucking nerves.

anyways. this guy does his thing and makes pang feel like he truly lost then mind controls pom (i wanted to yell at pom so badly at that moment but i know it’s not his fault that he’s being brainwashed ugh) and pang who is literally trying to save his own life tells him THE EXACT WORDS CHANON TOLD HIM. AND POM CRIES. MY FUCKING HEART YALL. NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. IT HAS BEEN BROKEN WAY TOO MUCH IT’S BASICALLY NONEXISTENT. I WAS SOBBING.

so from that we go to the start of the second semester (which i had to guess by the 2 because there were no subs for that and i don’t understand thai lol) and pang is still the same exact kid who is best friends with nac, is a whole troublemaker and is in class 4-8 (which makes me wonder how tf they made everyone forget he was a gifted kid....... hmmmmm)

now when they first showed that i thought they were replaying ep1 KJSHFKSF but when the eating scene came on and there were people sitting on the gifted section i was like wait a minute............. hold on....................

then HE CLASHES WITH WAVE.

OH MY GOD.

AND HE ASKS HIM THE SAME EXACT QUESTION HE DID IN EP1.

OH MY FUCKING GOD.

((his expression when he sees him excuse me i will literally cry to sleep look at that he’s-my-friend-but-he-doesn’t-remember-me-so-i-can’t-call-him-by-his-name-or-else-he’ll-be-weirded-out-but-also-i-fucking-miss(ed)-out-asshole face he makes ;;))

AND MY JAW WAS ALREADY DROPPED BUT IT FELL TO THE GROUND WHEN NAMTAAN AND OHM APPEARED BEHIND HIM AND WERE LIKE “C��MON LET’S GO EAT”

AND PANG BEING LIKE huh why do i feel like i don’t remember something AFTER HE LOOKS AT EVERYONE SEATED WITH MR POM. HUH I FUCKING WONDER WHY BRO.

and then. AND THEN. a gifted pin that fell to the ground is taken by pang and as he walked to give it back to wave, nac stops him and thankfully pang keeps it because guess mf WHAT BABY.

also the fact that wave once caught him filming himself and just.. kept tabs on it since he seems to know pang just wouldn’t do one plan (you can see how shocked he is by ladda giving him the fake serum which i haven’t talked about but I LOVE LADDA AGAIN EVERYTHING’S GOOD WITH HER I LOVE U QUEEN <3<3<3) and when he, i guess, disappeared from the gifted program and didn’t talk with any of them wave just hacked pang’s computer and watched the video he had made incase it was important or whatever and i’m so glad for wave’s invasion of privacy because oh my god u saved my kiddo who saved his future self by being a smart bitch on the past. an icon.

AND THE LAST SCENE!!!!!!!!!!!! THE DIFFERENCE FROM WHEN PANG ENTERED THE ROOM FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYONE BEING LIKE “YOU’RE HERE”!!!!!!!!!!! THEY PROBABLY LOST ALL HOPE BUT PANG MADE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE FOUND OUT ABOUT HIMSELF AND ABOUT THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I FELT SO PROUD OF MY SON WATCHING THIS

this drama was soooooo good idk if i’ll watch the movie because this drama is so well made and the acting and everything is so good idk how they’d be able to tell half of the story in less than 2 hours,,,, maybe it’s a water boyy situation but backwards idk

either way this drama gets a 10000000000000/10 and a plus for making me forget that i wanted to pee oh my gOD I NEED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM GOODBYE

Aikatsu Stars! Episodes 39-44

It is time for more Aikatsu! We’re now even closer than the end and IT FINALLY HAPPENED! This will be my most positive post on Stars since this has begun! Can you believe it? Because I sure can’t.

Giving start to tonight’s work we have Episode 39 that is the episode where Gothic Victoria is started! I’ve gotta say, the reason why GV came to be was kinda dumb, like, you would think such a famous school would be able to keep their finances in check, but apparently they don’t so they gotta take sponsors money which proves my theory that these girls don’t receive a single penny for their work and all profits go the schools is correct.

But even though the motive was dumb, the actual execution of the thing was good. First I like that Lily was straight on and cut any external help from the beginning so we would have the protagonists running around doing nothing *coughcough*purepalettetaggingalongibelieve*coughcough* and they only appear when they’re really relevant. I also like that all stages of this audition had competitions that were actually related to sewing and fashion. And as ironic as it is that they dropped Dreaming Bird’s fashion show stage for a live one in a performance with the intention of showcase GV’s dresses, I can’t deny that this is was a very good performance. Different from 4 Stars’ bank account, this episode had a very positive balance.

Episode 40 was our last drama episode of the season I believe. AND I LOVED IT!

At first, I thought this was going to be just a cheap knock off of the Stylish Thief Swallowtail from season 1 of OGkatsu, and while this one had similar elements, it was completely different and I loved every second of it. As simple as the plot was I WAS SO INVESTED AND CAPTIVATED BY IT. I don’t know if it's my love for mystery novels, but I really wanted to watch this show. I think this is my favorite drama EVER. I’m shocked. I even liked Ako in this episode, I don’t know if it was because she was playing a character or it was because there were no boys around, but I was really sympathetic towards her this time.

What else do I have to say? Amazing, just amazing.

We’re still riding in the good episodes wave with episode 41 and the winter festival that was lots of fun to watch. I don’t really have a lot to say, because besides bringing the Kasumi sisters even more close, this episode doesn’t do a lot. The small contests were fun and while I wish Theater Class had taken the win since they don’t get the spotlight, I agree with Beauty Class win at the end. Besides, it’s my favorite Romance Kiss PR and my favorite song being used in this episode so I can’t get mad. In fact, I’m very happy Song Class didn’t win this thing, they have enough attention already.

Episode 42 gives us the “birth” of my favorite Stars unit! I call it “birth” because they really didn’t form the unit in this episode, but the elements for it to happen were there and that’s what matters to me.

Anyway, the episode was very good, I think it was a stretch to say no one in Dance class could keep up with Yuzu, but it’s fine it wasn’t a big deal after all this wasn’t the focus of the episode. The focus was Yuzu and Lily’s friendship and Lily’s worries about going on stage and clouding Yuzu’s shining performance, and this was a very adorable plot to follow around, they didn’t work a lot with it but it was enough to make that moment when Yuzu calls Lily her sunshine feel very emotional, and made the performance be a good pay off, a good crowning, to the journey we saw in this episode. Also, Yuzutto & Lillie version of Animal Carnival is the superior version, i’m sorry Ako.

Now episode 43 is my least favorite here, but it wasn’t bad, it’s just that valentine’s day episodes aren’t my thing so I don’t enjoy these as much as other people do. But taking out the parts with M4, that were the only parts I had to watch at double speed because yall know I can’t stand them, this episode was cute. If shipping or romance was my thing I feel like I would feel better about this episode, but it ain’t the case so...

Thankfully the next episode more than compensates. It was like they thought “hmm he’s not gonna like this valentine episode so let’s give him something he’ll like right after”. Now I know that they didn’t have me in mind when they came up with this episode, but this episode really was perfect for me.

Low participation of the MC? Check. Characters I like getting the spotlight? Check! Said characters doing a joint performance and giving us something new? Check!!! Wholesome content? CHECK!

Really, this episode was everything I wanted from Stars since day 1. Not epic plots, no shady drama, just girls doing their best while trying to achieve their dreams. HOW COULDN’T I LOVE THIS? Especially when they put Rola and Mahiru together who, to me, have a much better chemistry and dynamic than Yume & Rola ever had? This episode was perfect and I definitely know that I would love Stars way more if episodes like this were more common during the season.

And on a last note, again, Rola x Mahiru’s version of Honeybee’s Kiss is the superior version. Sorry, I don’t make the rules.

And this was Aikatsu Stars for the day! Definitely the high point of this season to me. Tomorrow we finish season 1 and, surprisingly enough, I’m excited about it, even though I feel like i’m gonna get very disappointed by the results of the S4 Election. Oh well, I think I’m gonna dive on youtube and rewatch some performances on loop since Lantis and BNP are cowards and didn’t release full versions of the superior versions of Animal Carnival and Honeybee’s Kiss, see you guys tomorrow. STRANGER THINGS 3 - MOVIES & WHAT THEY COULD MEAN

So I don’t know about yall but the fever in finding out what Stranger Things 3 could be about is high for me. I’m just so stoked! I was looking at set build photos when I noticed something.

Pictured is the Theater set inside Starcourt Mall for S3. I think a design blogger or someone got access to construction photos.  if there’s one thing I learned from the previous seasons, its that 80′s movies/movie titles play a role both big and small in dropping little hints at whats in store.

Listed below are the movie titles and their respective synopsis, along with my own theories on what they could mean for the upcoming season:

1. Fletch - “A veritable chameleon, investigative reporter Irwin "Fletch" Fletcher (Chevy Chase) might drive his editor (Richard Libertini) up the wall, but he always produces great pieces for the newspaper. When his next story is about the drug trade taking place on the beach, Fletch goes undercover as a homeless man. Unaware of Fletch's true identity, businessman Alan Stanwyk (Tim Matheson) offers Fletch $50,000 to kill him. Intrigued, Fletch decides to unearth the full story behind the offer.”

My Theory: I think elements of this movie are going to be sprinkled into the season. We know Jake Busey is joining the cast this season as Bruce, a journalist for the The Hawkins Post, with “questionable morals and a sick sense of humor.” Murray is also still in the picture as well. I think Hopper is going to butt heads with these guys in attempts to keep Eleven and what happened in Hawkins Lab under wraps. And that’s only going to make these reporters push harder to get to the truth.

2. Cocoon - “Oscar-winning fantasy in which the residents of a Florida rest home get a new lease of life when they stumble across an alien "fountain of youth" in a disused holiday home. Unbeknownst to them, aliens have been using the swimming pool in the house to store their cocooned brethren, giving the waters a powerful, rejuvenating quality.”

My Theory: We know the mall/theater is gonna play a role this season. Maybe there’s something Upside Down-related hidden in one of the shops somewhere (maybe a demogorgon egg?) that someone’s selling for profit after discovering some strange benefit of it on accident. This could tie-in with my #6 theory.

3. DARYL (actually titled D.A.R.Y.L.) - “A seemingly normal young boy turns out to be a top secret, military-created robot with superhuman abilities.”

My Theory: I think this could just be an homage to Eleven’s story being a child experiment. I have a feeling if her and Mike (or the whole Party) see this together, she might get triggered and have a flashback with Dr. Brenner. Lowkey Highkey, though: I hope this somehow hints to another experiment (maybe 9 or 10), maybe a boy who can control technology. 

4. LIFEFORCE - “A race of space vampires arrives in London and infects the populace, beginning an apocalyptic descent into chaos ...” 

My Theory: I’m more curious about the infection part. A lot of what I noticed these past two seasons is hazmat suits, intense methods of disinfection/decontamination, and people touching/breathing in crap from the upside down. Besides what happened with Will, I’ve yet to see the effects of the Upside Down really hit the people of Hawkins. I wonder if this season will deal more with the effects of these infections. 

5. RETURN TO OZ - “Dorothy, saved from a psychiatric experiment by a mysterious girl, is somehow called back to Oz when a vain witch and the Nome King destroy everything that makes the magical land beautiful.”

My Theory: I have a feeling this might allude to something literal: Eleven may be returning to the Upside Down. Or maybe Will (although the Duffers did say they were giving him a break this season, that better be true dammit!). Or maybe Kali is called back to Hawkins to help Eleven and the others fight whatever threat this season is. 

6. THE STUFF - “A delicious, mysterious goo that oozes from the earth is marketed as the newest dessert sensation, but the tasty treat rots more than teeth when zombie-like snackers who only want to consume more of the strange substance at any cost begin infesting the world.”

My Theory: Maybe someone in Hawkins gets a hold of the ooze (or a byproduct) from the Upside Down and markets it to the public. The threat of the season would be trying to get it contained after people start having violent side effects maybe?
