Ive been re-reading the Axe and Milk fics (If you dont know what those are oml please read them! The Axe fic is my favorite!) as per tradition every year since I found them, so Im back on my Animaniacs brainrot for a bit.

Ember got a redesign! They are technically my Warner Sona, but with a twist. Basically they are a redesigned 4th sibling [like how Smakky and Wakko turned into the same toon later down the line.] She has an intresting backstory, Ill eventually be writing something for it!

not to go back into ducks again but i remember when the animaniacs reboot dropped i made a mutual with this super annoying person on twitter who kept talking about yakko warner and milk and about a week later an acquaintance of mine asked me how long i knew them and then said "we think that your new mutual is cannedtins"

The milk fic?

It's a notorious fic where Yakko, being lactose intolerant, drinks milk and starts having nightmarish hallucinations of his siblings dying. One of the execs, IIRC, referenced it when discussing how the fandom writes really dark shit that made him uncomfortable.

The Yakko Milk Fic is just an 8 chapter fanfiction posted on fanfiction.net from 2007 where Yakko drinks a glass of milk and starts having like, mental illnesses 😭😭 I’ve read all of it until the 8th chapter cuz it was way too long for me to continue dnskjska. The fic is called “Big Brother’s Responsibility” if you were wondering 😭

The Pinky Leg Fic is a fanfic from the 2000s-2010s (I forget when it was made) about Pinky getting his legged ripped off by a plan for world domination 😭 Its called “A Leg To Stand On” (I think) and it’s kinda short (it’s just 1 chapter). There’s also slight Brinky in it, but yeah. It was based on a “are you pondering what I’m pondering?” Quote where pinky replied with “I think so Brain, but isn’t it a miracle that this one grew back?”

So yeah 😭😭

I feel like each fandom has that one fanfic/writer that almost everyone in the fandom knows about. Like Animaniacs has the Yakko Milk Fic/Big Brother's Responsibility, Pinky and The Brain has the Pink Leg Fic and The Unsinkable Brain. I've never been in the Loud House fandom but I know the longest thing written in human history has over 1 million words and it's that one loud house fanfic

I have no idea what Dog Man has but Lazulii is a very popular writer, and The Lego Movie has the self insert x Rex storyline that I read when I was 10 [which is still very good btw]. Gravity Falls has Dipper Goes To Taco Bell and I have never read it and I really do Not want to

Okay so in “Yakko Amakko”, Yakko specifically refers to his ice cream as being “dairy-free”, indicating that the writers are well aware of his lactose intolerance.

Considering how easy of a detail it is to miss in the 90s series proper...

...did they throw that in because of the god damn Milk Fic???

I’m not saying it’s supposed to be a reference or anything, I just have a feeling that whoever wrote that line probably remembered Yakko was lactose intolerant specifically because they had heard about the Milk Fic.
