April - On The Foot

It's been a minute... April has seen deliveries from all our footwear favourites, and none of them have shied away from a splash of colour to brighten up your summer wardrobe.

Kicking things off is this garish pair of Converse Chuck Taylors. Here at Wellgosh we're big fans of a classic, and they don't come much more classic than a pair of Chucks. This season sees Converse use a playful pastel colour pallet, Ying-Yang-erize their logo & bless you with a set of Yin-Yang printed laces for added balance & equilibrium. Puma team up with one of Berlin's baddest. Overkill choose to rework this 1998 vintage kick with an OG colour pallet inspired by the Y2K crash that 'never happened'. Post-apocalyptic Berlin at its best; we love the concept and it's shoes like these that are of the main reason for our OTF posts; when the shelf just doesn't do the kick justice. Modern comfort with decades of history; the Adidas Nite Jogger has quickly become a staff favourite, and this Vapour Green colour-up has not failed to impress. With all the wearability we've come to expect from a Boost sole unit, the Nite Jogger makes for a great trainer to kick about the shop all day in (if you've done your time on the shop floor you'll understand). Vans rework their classic Authentic with this striped number. To the unassuming eye this looks like a checkerboard Authentic without the sideways stripes; you'd be mistaken. This iteration sees Vans deconstruct the back of the shoe allowing the wearer to stand it flat (shock-horror) without ruining the shoe (phew). Perfect for flopping about in over the summer months ahead. In store & online now £59.95

Another kick lacking in shelf appeal, but is a real head turner as soon as you pop it on your foot; the Reebok Daytona DMX. Designed by Christian Tresser (the guy behind Nike's Air Max 97, once you know you can't un-see the similarities), the Daytona DMX has all the rough & tough attributes you'd expect from a late 90s runner. Bold use of durable materials makes for a hardwearing kick and the colour pops makes this a great kick for summer. Available now £99.95

Saucony sure do know how to execute a good vintage running kick. Constructed from nylon mesh underlays and synthetic overlays, the Saucony Azura oozes late 80s goodness especially with vibrant zesty orange pops contrasted with black accents. A belter at £79.95
