Attempting something new three years after the fire first started and the curse of Hackett's Quarry is in full effect after Chris' now bitten form, he hears of a sighting by Silas in Hope County and goes to the County under the guise of a new way to train and gather ideas.

Getting there however and finding the chaos in the County with a war, he was hoping to quietly leave and not be seen...

And then he caught a glimpse of Joseph while he was in his Werevamp, mistaking him for Silas he's now planning to stay in the County until he kills Silas and frees his family from the curse that's befallen them.

And he isn't planning on getting distracted from his cause just because a few people want it to live.
