Thinking about a poignant post from an older gay person about Good Omens where they made a side remark about how not that long ago, Michael Sheen and David Tennant’s close friendship would’ve caused rumors and could have possibly ruined their careers. And like. Even being on here ten years ago, seeing the One Direction fandom and the Larry phenomenon, rampant homophobia being the norm really, really wasn’t as far back as we think even on this very website

We’re so in Queer 3.0, I think a lot (especially for zoomers, and I’m including myself as a young milennial) of us don’t realize just how wildly different the world has become in a short amount of time and how truly dire it used to be (and is still most places.)
