For those Hakuoki fans out there...helping edit a friend's work @xxlucyxlolaxx . It's a Hakuoki x Black Butler crossover featuring Sebastian from Black Butler as Hijikata & Chixuru's child. Please give it a read and let us know what you think by dropping a comment and sharing. We'd really appreciate it.

Yes, this is perfect. My only suggestion is to add Toshi's name when she mentions that he's the son of Chiziru. Just edit it to say the son of Toshizo Hijiksta and Chiziru Yukimura. So that it's known that he's also Toshi's legacy and his other human half and not just his demon half that has importance. But other than that, I like it. It's good
Sebastian and Sara reunion (Rewritie)
The words were growled at her with such intensity that Sara couldn't help but whimper, pushing the boy off of her. His eyes, bloodshot with fury, seemed to pierce through her very soul. As his arms stretched out to an unnatural length, resembling that of a monstrous lizard on the prowl, Sara braced herself, fists clenched in preparation for the impending confrontation. The demon let out a piercing screech and lunged towards her, only to be abruptly halted mere inches from her face, writhing in pain.
"Why, my lord Michaelis, why?" The creature's anguished cry filled the air, echoing around them.
Through tear-blurred vision, Sara caught sight of him. A figure of striking presence, tall and slender, with hair as dark as the night sky, billowing in the cool breeze. His complexion was as pale as starlight, his eyes a mesmerizing shade akin to a lunar eclipse. Clad in a dark blue haori, reminiscent of the attire once worn by the esteemed Shinsengumi, though the intent behind this choice remained a mystery. Unreal was the only word that could aptly describe him.
Transfixed, she watched as he drew near.
"Despicable defiance such as yours demands retribution," he declared with chilling calm, a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. As his gaze locked onto hers, his smirk widened. "Ah, a village maiden." With a firm grip on her shoulders, he drew her closer.
Sara's eyes widened in disbelief. It couldn't be…
"You are a rare breed, indeed," the man remarked, his gaze seeming to penetrate her very essence. "Scream for me, girl."
Shaking off the trance, Sara lashed out, her hand meeting his cheek with a resounding slap. Taken aback, he recoiled, fingers grazing his stinging skin.
"Do not lay a hand on me. I am not yours to toy with," Sara retorted, her voice laced with defiance.
The man's smile returned, amusement dancing in his eyes. "I merely intervened to save you. Show some gratitude, girl."
Crossing her arms, Sara stepped back, maintaining her resolve. "I had the situation under control. I do not require your assistance."
A brief moment of silence passed as the man scrutinized her, his gaze alight with a subtle gleam before he spoke again. "A delicate creature like you? I highly doubt it." His laughter rang out. "What is it that you seek? If you have come to pledge allegiance to me, your demeanor leaves much to be desired."
It had to be him… Those eyes, that dark hair reminiscent of Kondo. This was not the reunion she had anticipated, yet there he stood, undeniably alive.
"You are Kondo. Son of Chizuru Yukimura," she spoke, causing a flicker of surprise to flash across his features. Veins pulsed beneath his skin, a sign of the power he wielded, ready to be unleashed.
"Any mention of that name warrants punishment," he declared coldly, his voice a chilling whisper. "Choose your words wisely."
That fateful moment revealed the truth she sought. Standing before her was the man she once knew as Kondo. It pained her to witness the transformation he had undergone, a stark contrast to the memories she held dear. A glint in her peripheral vision caught her attention - a pristine white flower, untouched by time, peeking out from his attire.
Drawing her closer with an unsettling grip, he brought their faces in close proximity. "Perhaps a lesson in respect for your king is in order, young lady," he snarled, his forceful grasp causing her garment to tear slightly, exposing her cleavage.
"You've kept my flower," she remarked, her voice trembling with emotion.
Taken aback, he released her and took out the flower from his pocket, its delicate petals now slightly wilted. She stifled the tears that threatened to escape. That flower symbolized their beginning.
"I gave you this flower so you could remember me," she continued. " That day, in the backyard of my home."
His face betraying confusion, he regarded her in silence, studying her features until his visage softened. "Sara?" he whispered.
With tearful eyes, Sara nodded, overcome with emotion. "After all this time, I have finally found you," she sobbed, embracing him with heartfelt warmth.
Unresponsive, he allowed her embrace to linger, resisting the urge to push her away. Upon releasing him, she almost laughed at his towering stature, recalling their comparable heights in the past, he now loomed over her by a considerable margin.
"I am aware of the tragedy that befell your parents, Kondo, and I'm so sorry. My father will welcome you into our family. Please, come back with me. You still have a home." she implored.
Gently disentangling himself, he averted his gaze. Her unexpected appearance in the forest had caught him off guard.
"Kondo died a long time ago," he declared calmly. "My name is Michaelis."
"No," she persisted. "I refuse to accept that. You remain true to yourself."
In a surge of anger, his eyes blazed with crimson intensity as he confronted her. "You know nothing of me. Leave before you witness the wrath of King Michaelis," he bellowed, power pulsing through his veins.
His cutting words struck Sara to the core. "You have someone who cares for you, yet you spurn it?" she challenged.
"I require no care; it is a trivial human sentiment," he retorted, his hands emanating a potent energy. "You, too, are a demon. How can you not understand this?" With a final dismissal, he turned away without further words.
Placing a trembling hand over her heart, Sara suppressed her tears. "I refuse to abandon you," she declared resolutely, though her words failed to sway him.
He stood motionless, wrestling with unfamiliar emotions that stirred within his chest. His thoughts muddled, he dismissed her attempts as feeble human tactics. "You waste your efforts, naïve girl. Depart from my presence," he commanded.
Exhaling a weary sigh, Sara retraced her steps out of the forest, vowing silently to return for Kondo, no matter the obstacles. Despite his rejection, the fact that he kept her flower offered a glimmer of hope. She would persevere in her quest to reach him, no matter the cost.
.....
I think I'm giving them the name Sera (Sebastian x Sara.) nice huh.
Anyways, I'm still looking over things and I guess this is better than the old one. @lilc77

It's good. Kazama having a vulnerable side is nice but him crying is so out of character for him. I'm not sure if you should keep that. At least he shouldn't be seen crying or letting out any emotions until he almost loses Sen which would be the epitome of him realizing his feelings for her and her seeing him in a new light and wanting to protect that or help him never let anyone else see that side of him since it breaks her heart to see him like that which was why she decided to stay by his side forever.
Progress!!
"Lady Sen needs a room to rest in, see to it right away. Her luggage is left at the entrance with her horse."
Sen was about to protest, she can prepare her own room just fine, but he raised his hand to stop her.
"Yes my lord." The young man said and then he hurried down the stairs.
Angry, she gritted her teeth. "You think I cannot take care of myself?" She asked, her voice is slightly loud.
Kazama faced her with a smile. "Not at all princess, I just wanted to treat you like the royalty you are."
Once again, words she didn't expect. "Why are you being weird?" she asked.
"What?" he said with a raised eyebrow. "You think I'm self absorbed, egotistical brat?"
Sen felt her cheeks heat up, he was totally enjoying this. Throwing her words against her. “You think this sudden gesture would change my mind about you? You are sadly mistaken, this feels insincere now.” The moment she said these words, she noticed a sudden shift in his face. A saddened look that passed in seconds, then his smile returned.
“Sure, princess. Why don’t you follow him to your room? You need your sleep after all.” Then he turned his back to her and went for the entrance to his mansion.
Sen watched, confused was an understatement. She thought she knew who that man was, but maybe there is something else.
....................................................................................................
Kazama found himself in his favourite place, the pond at the end of the yard he called home. The small, crystal-clear pond reflected the setting sun, casting a warm glow over the surrounding grass. Normally, this place brought him a sense of peace and tranquility, but today was different. As he sat on the grass, his bare feet dipping into the cold water, he couldn't shake the overwhelming sadness that gripped his heart.
Tears threatened to spill from the corners of his eyes, a rare display of vulnerability for a man like Kazama. He prided himself on his strength and resilience, but the events of recent days had shaken him to his core. The realization that he might be perceived as a terrible person, unliked by those around him, pierced his soul with a sharp pang of loneliness.
Yes, his people adored and respected him, but in the depths of his solitude, Kazama couldn't help but feel the weight of his own isolation. He slept alone, spent his days with his own thoughts, and now, faced with the truth of his own solitude, he couldn't help but wonder if this was the reason for his anger towards Hijikata.
The thought of that man effortlessly capturing Chizuru's heart while Kazama remained on the sidelines stung with bitter jealousy. A mere human who somehow transcended into a devil. His head bowed into his hands and he gasped for breath. “This is too much, how is he supposed to deal with this?”
“I never knew you could cry?” A voice interrupted him.
Surprised, his head glanced back at the speaker. Sen stood to the side of a tree, her brown hair was slightly dishevelled.
“What are you doing here?” He asked, his voice low, then he gazed back into the clear water.” This is the line that marks the yard for my house, no one is allowed to step in.”
“I apologise for my intrusion.” Sen’s voice was calm as she stepped forward toward the pond. Then silence fell between the two, as she watched the clear water, rippling ever so often from his movement.
“You have a good life here,” She said with a smile.
After a second of silence, he answered. “You think so?”
“Yes,” she said with a chuckle. “You picked a fine place to build your home, I’m impressed.”
Another awkward silence persisted, before he spoke again. "My only complaint against this place is, there won't be snow in winter."
Sen heaved a sigh. "I could agree in that. There is nothing like a moment of respite near the fire, under the blanket,"
.............................................................
I think I know what to do with them Now. This is working very well. I just hope I won't hit a wall anytime soon. @lilc77

Yes, I like that. That would be a nice start to KazaSen. I would add more of a reason why Sebastian wants to know more about KazaSen or make it seem like either she's with child or her son/daughter walks in and she wants to tell them the story about their grandparent's love story this their family background and why the child's special or something. Hope that makes sense.
Her message to him
Thunder crashed in the distance, sending shivers down her spine as the woman stepped out of her room, the floorboards creaking beneath her feet.
The dim light from the hallway illuminated her saddened expression as she made her way to the room on the left.
With a gentle push, she slid the door open, revealing a room bathed in darkness, save for the occasional flash of lightning that seeped through the curtains.
In the centre of the room stood a weathered rocking chair, its wooden frame creaking softly in the silence. A sturdy desk sat nearby, adorned with an opened inkwell, a delicate feather, and a blank piece of paper.
The woman's eyes lit up with a soft smile as she made her way to her favourite spot, the chair welcoming her with open arms.
Savouring the soothing sound of rain tapping against the window, she reached for the feather and dipped it into the ink, the rich scent filling the room.
With a steady hand, she began to pen a heartfelt message to her beloved husband, Sebastian. Each stroke of the feather carried her longing, her emotions pouring onto the paper with each word she wrote.
"My dearest Sebastian, I find myself lost in thoughts of you, wondering where you are and what you're doing. The weight of your absence grows heavier with each passing day, your duties to Lord Phantomhive keeping you from me. The fleeting moments we share during your visits are but a whisper in the wind, leaving me yearning for more. I miss you terribly, my love. Please, come back to me soon."
Pausing for a moment, she added three dots before continuing with a new line, her heart heavy with unspoken words. "You've often inquired about my parents and the story of how they met. It is a tale that holds a special place in my heart, one that I have preserved from my childhood, at least how my parents told it to me.
It all began twenty-five years ago, a time of peace, of dreams and unlikely feelings..." And as the storm raged on outside, she delved into the story of her origins, the ink flowing effortlessly from her pen as she painted a picture of her past for her absent husband to read.
.............
Well I thought about starting it like this. It sort of bring things together in a nice way. Not to mention I'm a bit impatient loool this was my chance to get a scene of these two out of my chest.

No, that sounds like too much. There'll be too much going on in the story. I don't think you should add anything like this especially when it doesn't make sense. You can't just add drama just to add drama w/o a reason. I would concentrate on Sebastian and Sara. Unless you're trying to write KazaSen at the same time then it needs to be separated.
More thoughts?
Just some more thoughts I had for the plot line. So there was an agreement the second plot lines for this could be better....
How about if I added this? Sen found poison among her luggage, someone is trying to kill her and so she falls ill. This could create a rift between the two clans, why is their princess suddenly sick when Kazama offer for them to temporarily live in his village? But the issue is, I still have no motivation, why would someone wants to kill her? Unless I tied it down to Sebastian, or just try to keep it separated. hmmmmmmmmmm @lilc77
Then maybe introduce an Angel later. Maybe he/she offered a cure, a cure that would effect their baby later by giving her power in her voice? pregnancy could be weird. hmmmm

I liked the original line but Kazama would've called him a boy instead of a young man. It's too proper and not enough bite.
rewrite.
Do you feel like this line is far suited for Kazama? compared to the old one you saw awhile back. @lilc77
.....................
Kazama was silent for a moment, he took a breath and then replied." Do not sound so cross, that lad is a walking danger; he is the one who caused the darkness we live in now. How do you expect me to overlook such a thing?" he said.
...................
compared to the original one:
"That young man is bad news; he is the one who caused the darkness we live in now. How do you expect me to be okay with this?" he said.

This is good but I thought you already wrote this scene before and I think I liked what you previously wrote. It fit how helpless Toshi felt if not being able to help Kondo which is why he couldn't live with his grief and himself.
This scene feels more like what Toshi wish would've/could've happened. But it was never going to be this way since Kondo was too far gone. His innocence was gone and it didn't matter what Toshi said or did that was going to change the fact.
Thoughts
Now this is something for real I'm having troubles with. How am I going to end things with Toshi. These are pieces from the original chapter.:
"Father, what are you doing?" he asked.
"That is my line," Toshi replied. " It's time for this to end, this instant."
Kondo chuckled, amused. "Don't make me laugh, Father. You won't pick some random humans over me. You should be happy! No one will disrespect you again - you will be a lord."
Toshi shook his head sadly. Again with this talk of pride. He raised his sword up to his cheek and pointed directly at Kondo. "No, you have completely lost sight of yourself." He was silent for a second before he opened the wound he knew would hurt: "This isn't what your mother would want."
The sight of his father raising his sword was enough to make Kondo break, his mask slipping to the terrified child he really was. "How fucking dare you point your weapon at me," the boy sputtered. " I'm your son."
Those words were enough to send Toshi over the edge. "Don't you swear at me, you little shit. I'm your father," he snarled as he stepped closer to him. "Do you understand? I know you are in pain. I know you miss your mother, and I wish I could take that away from you. I wish I could take away the knowledge of what you had witnessed."
....
"Go ahead, kill me. Everything would work out fine for you." Kondo's voice broke, his rough exterior vanishing. "No one ever wants me; I'm just a monster."
Toshi clenched his hands into fists, so many emotions bubbling to the surface. "How could you say that?" he hissed, pinning his son to the ground. "Don't you dare tell me I would be okay without you! Did you think I would kill you? I couldn't do it even if I tried." He began to strike him in the face again and again, assaulting him with blows from both fists. "But I will beat you until your face is red and your eyes swelled shut. Until your true self is back."
Toshi's vision blurred as tears ran down his bruised cheeks. "I blame myself for what you have become, but this has to end. You are my son, no matter what. I'm not the kind of man to walk away from family, and I will never be." He paused to catch his breath.
Kondo was crying silently under him. His eyes were puffy, and his face was bruised. There he was, his innocent child.
Toshi held his son's face, looking at him with compassion and understanding. He was wrong for not trying to help him deal with his grief. The nightmare would've never happened if he was a better father than this.

Wow...so dark but necessary. It explains his full transformation and how dark he had become. The question is will he be able to be pulled out of the darkness before it fully consumes him or before he crosses a point of no return? Hmm...
Piece
The boy, Michaelis, stood in the shadows at the back of the house, a twisted smile playing on his lips as he listened to the mother's sobs echoing through the air.
Her cries were like music to his ears, a symphony of despair that fueled his dark desires. As the front door slid open and the father's enraged voice pierced the night, Michaelis felt a rush of excitement course through him.
This was his playground, his domain of fear and destruction. With a predatory grace, he moved through the garden, the freshly trimmed grass tickling his bare feet as he closed in on his next victim.
Behind the man now, Michaelis spoke words laced with malice, words that froze the father in his tracks. The man's eyes widened in terror as he stared into the boy's crimson gaze, sensing the malevolent power that radiated from him.
"You all shall fall beneath my feet," Michaelis declared, his voice a chilling whisper that sent shivers down the man's spine. He could recall him alright, he is the one who dragged him through the village.
In a moment of desperation, the man tried to plead for mercy, but before the words could fully form on his lips, Michaelis struck with a speed that was inhuman.
The metallic scent of blood filled the air as the man's throat was slashed open by the boy's razor-sharp nails. A crimson geyser erupted from the gaping wound, painting Michaelis in a macabre splatter of red.
The man's head lolled back, detached from his body in a grotesque display of violence. Michaelis chuckled darkly, his amusement evident in the gleam of his eyes as he surveyed the carnage he had wrought.
Oh…that was quite the display, you frail human." Said Michaelis with a chuckle.
The woman's horrified screams pierced the night, her world crumbling before her eyes as she knelt at the threshold in a paroxysm of grief. The boy licked the blood from his fingers, relishing the taste of fear and despair that clung to his skin. With a cold smile, he turned to face the woman, his gaze unflinching and cruel. "How does it feel when you lose everything? The utter helplessness is amazing am I correct?" he taunted, his voice a sinister whisper that carried the weight of impending doom. And as the night embraced them in its shadows, Michaelis reveled in the chaos he had unleashed, a harbinger of darkness in a world consumed by fear.

I love it! It's perfect. See, you do know how to write these two after all
One night
@lilc77
Sen sat near the window, watching the sky outside.
"Why is our daughter so hung over the late Hijikata's son?" His voice was cold and low, and the irritation rose with every sentence he spoke.
Sen glanced back at him with a smile. Again with this conversation. "Can't you see? Her heart flutters for him, but I'm not sure she realizes it."
Kazama's face darkened at the mention of the heart. This couldn't be. He always imagined his daughter marrying someone worthy of a beloved princess like her. Hijikata's son was a half-breed of some sort, even if he was a Yukimura.
"The son of my rival? Over my dead body," he spat.
Sen pursed her lips, annoyed by his typical attitude. She faced him and chose to give him a piece of her mind. "Chikage Kazama, don't you care about your daughter's happiness? Don't you see the amount of pain she is in?"
"That young man is bad news; he is the one who caused the darkness we live in now. How do you expect me to be okay with this?" he said.
That was something Sen couldn't argue against. She didn't know what to feel about the son of her late friend.
Kazama's face fell in horror. There was something much bigger than this that they needed to worry about, and it seemed his wife had forgotten it completely. Not that he blamed her for it.
He lay on the futon and beckoned for her to come. Sen sighed and snuggled into him.
"Remember the angels?" He could sense her body immediately tense at the mention of those deities.
"Why are you asking about them?" she replied, having forgotten what happened.
"Our daughter has angel blood in her. Don't you remember the incident where I first found you?"
As Sen thought back to it, she found it was an anomaly. An angel attacked her house in the Yase Village, and for some reason, this gave their daughter an angel ability to heal through her voice. They could never find a reasonable explanation for such a thing.
Sen slightly lifted herself to look at him worried about what he might think. " You know I've never been an infidel, right? no angel touched me. Sara is your flesh and blood."
Kazama's lips formed a slight smile that barely reached his eyes. "I know that. Still, our daughter is in a way a Nephalem because of the power of her voice, she is one of her kind." he paused for a second, contemplating what any of this could mean. "Something is brewing here, and I feel Chizuru's son is in the center of it all."

I like the one where they meet during travels and she informs him that they're looking to relocate and he temporarily houses them not knowing that they'll never leave 😆. Him and Sen gets close and maybe you could still add Sen fainting and Kazama finding her and that's when they realize that she's pregnant and why she's having the dreams or something like it.
Scattered thoughts!!
Okay, here's some ideas I have...@lilc77
The Princess is sick, he found her alone in the middle of dirt path. The moment she gets better slightly, her fever returns and she is bedbound again.
Cannot remember what happened to her and how she ended up unconscious and alone.
So based on that dream I could do something like umm maybe she can barely walk so he carries her a bit and travel the road to find the closest doctor who might help so there could be a scene with him holding her in his arms near the fire....maybe because the weather is slightly chilly. But he could learn that she was cursed by something unknown because of the fact she was destined for something never seen before. A daughter who is a Nephalem who would be the wife of the king "Sebastian." A great union and combined powers they are afraid of, so they want to kill her before this happens.
To explain why Chizuru was not hunted down for the fact that she is the mother of the king is because as I mentioned in Hijichi story. Sebastian's Prophecy is unclear and they aren't sure when or how or who?
Or maybe I ditch this plotline entirely and start over with something else.
Maybe he was returning home in the road and then by chance he stumbles upon her traveling as well.
He learns from her that the Village of Yase isn't doing too well and they are in the process of moving to another place and build all over again. So he offers her to come with him to his village, stay there for a few days until things work well. She can bring her people with her. It might be possible to make some space for them to live temporarily in the Kazama village.
So she agrees and goes with him, but Sen has been tormented by a dream she couldn't understand, (Haven't yet thought about what the dream could be, but it supposed to foreshadow her future with Kazama and their daughter who will held some of the angel powers.) Maybe I could try to write interactions between the two near the pond where in the future Kondo would meet Sara.
What do you think the conversation starters could be about?
I have a slight something from an old draft,,,that could be something.
....
"So you finally stopped chasing Chizuru and Hijikata for your so called pride and bloodline?”
She could see very clearly her question made him tense. His body stiffened slightly before he avoided her eyes. “ There comes a time, when you realize your actions are wrong.” He whispered. “ You have no choice but to accept it and learn to move on.”
....
Then someday Sen sees a box left in her room, thinking maybe it was one of her people who brought some of her luggage there but the moment she opens it, it turns out to be poison and she falls ill.
So this could lead to the dream with him holding her next to the fire while he hears the words of someone saying. "That woman is cursed."
And so use the lore I said in that other plot, the destiny for her to birth a girl who would be a Nephalem and the wife of the king....et-cetera.
......
That's all I have, for now. @lilc77

Hmm.. yes, Kazama worrying for his daughter and being an endearing father is so kawaii😍. I can see him telling her not to worry about him and to stay away from him but him actually going in person to check on Kondo just to give his daughter peace of mind. What's next for the father-daughter duo?
Kazama and his daughter
"Sara." Her father's muffled voice called out to her from behind the door.
She lifted herself from the floor and tried to calm down, forcing herself to take several deep breaths. The door slid open, revealing the lord of the village Chikage Kazama. His sandy hair was now pale, and wrinkles were evident around his eyes and mouth. His whole face made him look weary, too tired from the horrors he had witnessed over the years to deal with anything more.
Kazama touched Sara's rosy cheek and asked, "What happened?"
However, Sara couldn't look him in the eyes; speaking such things to her father was difficult. But he was always the one she opened up to, so maybe he would understand.
"I found Kondo."
Her answer made the lord flinch, and he fully entered the room and closed the door behind him. A severe expression painted his face.
"Are you sure about this?" he asked.
Sara nodded as she gestured for him to sit so she could tell him what had happened. in the candlelight, the father and daughter sat silently for a couple of seconds before Sara finally spoke.
"He rejected me." Her voice wobbled, and she paused to hold back the urge to cry. "He is completely different than the boy who was brought here. He resides in a forest near the Yase village, and some other ancients live there."
Kazama patted her on the head, a gentle smile on his face. "I am sorry that you went through this, but you cannot help those who do not want to. You should let this go. That young man has been bad news since he showed up here years ago, the way his powers pulsed."
Sara shook her head, altogether rejecting his words. This wasn't what she expected, but she had a dream - Kondo living with them, the two sitting near the pond and talking, the same as in the past. She would show him her favorite book she liked to read once every month.
"He is the last Yukimura, Father," she countered. "He shouldn't be left behind."
Kazama sighed, unsure how to handle this conflict. It is not like he wanted to disown Chizuru's son, but he still didn't understand what the boy was.
" Father?" Sara's voice cut off his thoughts.
There was apparent fear in her eyes, and her rosy cheeks were suddenly too pale. Her shoulders trembled.
"I dreamt about a winged creature, and the wraith followed me again in this trip," she said. "Am I cursed, Father? What is going on?"
"Do not talk like this," Kazama replied. "You should rest now. We will talk about this tomorrow."
He leaned in and kissed her forehead, then left her room and returned to his wife in their bedroom.
Once again, she was left alone with her thoughts. Her world is turning upside down and she didn't know what to think. So many things to worry about.
@lilc77 This is something that must be seen lol
