yingdu episode 4 spoilers? maybe?

yingdu is fucking up the timeline so bad that I'm questioning the doudou case and the continuity of S1 and S2 being in the same timeline. so,

no nuanced third option, but feel free to explain or add nuance in the tags. check the op tags for why I feel confused about this.

*doudou as in S1 doudou, but if you think some other yingdu timeline doudou is getting kidnapped and it's not necessarily S1 doudou, feel free to answer yes if you want

#mine musings #liveblogging link click #link click #link click spoilers #okay here are my questions #lu guang's nightmare suggests that cheng xiaoshi died after the doudou case #which should have happened in october. but cheng xiaoshi died in september. we even see lu guang's watch #(april in september theory we're really in it now)#there's also the 2018 vs 2019 question. i think everyone's seen it by now #yingdu occurs in 2019. S1 doudou case happens in 2021. doudou was kidnapped three years ago which would be 2018 #which would not coincide with the overseas trip. but it should. because we got schrodinger's cheng xiaoshi in the doudou case #xu shanshan was supposed to call lu guang to check this! we have two episodes left for this to happen!#you think the emma case is weird? nah nah the doudou case is FULL of time paradoxes #i am of the opinion S1 timeline was split btw. S2 continues off of a branch of it but another branch diverged #sometime around the xu shanshan case and when the 7th case file for the serial murders went missing #edit: okay wait. hold on. i think i have an idea of what's happening. but i still want to hear what other people think
