help im shook there's someone else on mcrblr that knows 声入人心 and is also shook by the fandom stats on adult content ranking so high, higher than mcr and its such a wholesome show 💀💀💀

HI OMG. yeah my family and i were fucking obsessed with 声入人心, we binged that and the first two seasons of 我们的歌 together a few years ago and it's been downhill from there

and yeah, my brain is having trouble reconciling the wholesome chinese music show with. this 😭😭

(to be honest, the pairings i'm seeing in the tag don't surprise me? ayunga/zheng yunlong and xu junshuo/zheng qiyuan are the top two and Objectively i can see where they're coming from. my extremely straight mother looked at me while watching at some point and very seriously told me she thought about half of these men were gay. but it's the sheer NUMBER of these fics that's completely blindsided me holy hell)

Do you think you're going to watch Season 2 of 声入人心? I personally didn't get attached to as many singers on that one, but I think that's to be expected, and there are some really amazing people there too (Zheng Qiyuan, Xu Junshuo and Dai Chen are ones I would look out for!!). Might wanna take a break to process S1 but imo S2 is worth it as well.

Also, you make one (1) mention of Ayanga and suddenly my brain is launched back into my extremely niche 声入人心 phase from earlier this year, thank you for that haha.

ahaha well I'm watching it with mama hunxi in the evenings, so it's mama hunxi's call! we'll probably give it a shot, but whether we take a break to try out other shows like 《歌手》 or 《我们的歌》 or 《街舞》 is also a possibility!

#《我们的歌》 has Ayanga AND Zhou Shen AND Xiao Zhan which is a powerful argument #《街舞》 has Wang Yibo AND Liu Xianhua AND dance which is very compelling #ah heck I miss dancing #hunxi does variety shows
