Raoul struggled to get by in the most basic of things... with a stubborn pride to not allow his family (his Father more specifically) know how bad it had gotten, he found himself taking any job that he could come across in his industry. Anything to get some money into his account to get by. With a roommate to help ease the financial load, it made things a touch easier... but then again, it also increased Raoul’s stress. Annoyed by every little thing, angered far more easily with the stress on his shoulders, he wanted nothing more than for something to give. 

Part of him, on occasion, would think back to that argument he had with his Father... wondered what his life would be like if he had went to college just as his Dad asked him to do. Part of him wanted nothing more than to go back and admit how far he’d fallen in his own foolish thinking that he could do this alone... 

Except he merely continued on as he always did, struggling to get by and maintain a level of sanity...

★— CAKE -- the one weakness of a sweet-toothed super soldier who was trying to restrict his diet to something HEALTHY. But considering that the national holiday was on the horizon, along with A SPECIAL DAY -- he thought that it could be a cheat day, as such, for him. 

        Besides, that icing covered sponge just looked far too tempting to decline. Especially since it donned his signature colours. And there was the neatly wrapped box, that he eyed with the temptation to open it now, but he could wait 24 hours.

Temporally refraining from what he guessed to have been the only semblance of a remedy he’d offhand, he slowly retracts from the previous fetal position that he had. 

He glanced upon his crimson splashed hand, seeing one…no, two…no, three hands before his dizzy eyes as he fought not throwing up his intestines through his mouth. Fuck. He needs to get her back somehow but not now. Too busy not trying to…y’know, die from the blinding rage slash pain that rose from his shattered goober and shit. He took one last, tottering breath that ended with a low, guttural-like gurgle before collapsing with a deafening thud atop the ground.*
