as per usual the worst part of reports is figuring out 'the fuck do I exclude' and 'the fuck is this outlier'
oh not me procrastinating on my work and doing it the night before as if I'm still in college and have a midnight deadline
#literally. took me like 4-5 hours#jamie has made a statement#bc i have to verify by line item!!! after reducing the size bc its 1k lines im not inputting all that shit by hand#thanks past me for doing this work on a previous project#xlookup my beloved#im sure if i used r itd be faster but i dont get asked to do reports like this a lot#ngl kinda like working on the weekend bc im just working in one hour on one hour off today#im a lazy bitch#now that i have the most tedious part done im like :/ this is boring now#literally will take me like 30 mins to parse the rest of it out and then formatting will kick my ass but thats simple#me once i solve a problem: ok that was fun! anything else next thatll have me going hmm for a bit? no? oh :/#this is going to the feds i should uh. have more ideas on formatting#idek what the feds like

so embarassed..... was drunk earlier and ended up spending 30 minutes struggling to make a google sheets formula w/ conditionals and regexmatch when all i needed was xlookup

Had a breakthrough with my fancy Google sheet and literally pumped my fists and said "yes!" out loud at work. I'm too full of adrenaline to start the next step and face more problems so I'm taking my break to go on a walk and bask in my own genius
