you nod into his chest, mind still incoherent and not ready for the day yet. it was too early to think of anything.

and yet, silently, naturally, softly, your heartbeat spilled in syllables of three— o-sa-mu, o-sa-mu.

"i'm trying to take you off the market," you think for a moment. "officially."

"ya know divorce is a thing, right?" he radiates smugness. you roll your eyes.

"answer the question, 'samu. please." you kiss his collarbone briefly, making your way up his jawline to his chin. you're struck with how gray, hooded eyes sparkle & glisten in the sunlight before melting and shining anew. your pretty boy is carved from the finest stone, chiseled with care.

you fall back in love just looking at him.

"darlin'... ya don't need a tutorial on how ta marry me." osamu's kansai accent adds a disgustingly smooth charm to his words. "i love ya fer yer n' that's that."

you're already half-asleep by the time he whispers (like it was a secret between him and the room): "i'm definitely marryin' ya anyway."

and why wouldn't he with you? every touch you give him, every kiss you send his way sutures the pieces of him that he thought would never heal.

he knows that your love is beautiful. he knows what he has is extraordinary... he has you.

that press of his lips against yours spells out all of the adoration that he has for you. he loves you, loves you, loves you— wholly, genuinely, unconditionally.

he knows you fear that you're not worthy. whether of him or in general. he can feel little pinpricks of tears on his shirt when you fall asleep sometimes. (his heart feels like it's tearing into two every time it happens.)

to be fair, i don't think i would have act differently in front of atsumu. he'd fall for me because i wasn't searching for his affection </3 it was actually quite the opposite, i thought he was a fool (a jester, even.)

what type of music they'd listen to. (from an american standpoint)

aran ojiro: he has had taste ever since he came out of the womb. quite literally... he grew up listening to 90s and 2000s r&b and it stayed with him. the times in the car with atsumu made him somewhat of a rap fan as well although he'll never admit it to his face. aran just listens to everything under the sun; i love him. however, he does not take the time to make separate playlists. he just loops his liked songs on spotify.

→ artists he'd probably like: kendrick lamar, sza, ms. lauryn hill, a tribe called quest, phony ppl, bruno major, i don't know how but they found me, rina sawayama, selena, matt maltese

atsumu miya: this mf... pre-msby in his high school years... literally just listens to drill and "Hardcore, Menace Rap" (coined by himself.) although it's all the same genre, there is no continuity in his playlists at all. (actually, he just has one huge ass playlist that he loops on his way to inarizaki while osamu contemplates murder.) he also knows that he likes other genres but he will slap your hand if you try and change the song. -1/10, would not get into a car with him on aux.

however... during his msby years, bokuto & sakusa basically convert him to liking everything. sakusa teaches him about chill rap and bokuto shows him hyperpop & k-pop. while rap still is in his top 5 genres, hyperpop, indie rock, and slow rap make their way up there. he also takes a liking toward old 60s songs that he can slow dance with you to.

he also has a major crush on doja cat.

kei tsukishima: this mf... (x2) with his bigass sony headphones, he wanted everyone to believe that he had the best music taste in all of eternity in high school. in actuality... kei listened to a cross of "sad girl music" and drill. probably was a drake stan.

as he got older, he started to venture out of that deep, disgusting hole he was in and started to appreciate alternative rock, contemporary r&b, electropop if i'm being serious. (he's also really interested in the composition of mathcore... that genre of punk & metal that is slightly offbeat/irregular time signatures. fucking nerd.)

keiji akaashi: this angel.... probably loves mellow music. the type of person to have an aesthetic to their spotify (it's light academia.) he has a multitude of playlists and he goes through them consistently to make sure they fit the mood/genre of the entire work. geniunely loves finding new artists & he stays up late just to feel every note go through his bloodstream. he makes playlists for you. probably used to be a harry styles fan.

is a huge fan of instrumentals with lots of piano (which he can play) and violins. however, his favorite instrument is bass and a close second is the trumpet.

has his days where he loves punk music though.

has a celebrity crush on kali uchis.

kiyoomi sakusa: very classy... very much so "sipping red wine while in a bath in my huge studio apartment" energy. grew up being forced to learn to play the viola and piano but also genuinely loves the sound of those instruments. huge neo-soul and chill r&b fan. 12/10, would get into a car with him on aux. (despite this, he loves flo milli though.) big bossa nova fan.

(iwaizumi showed him rema and now he's hooked.) knows how to danceeeeee.
