How do you think Kinich would act like if he was age regressed?

honestly I haven't uploaded headcanons (which is what I believe you want in this ask) in a good while, and I was gonna wait until I had a good layout to post this - but I've been searching for a while and can't find anyone so...

regressor kinich headcanons!

✩ Kinich's usual headspace is around 5-6 year old, however on the weeks leading up to his birthday, he'll usually regress younger, around 1 - 2 months old.

✩ Kinich when regressed is rather simple ; the little one is hardly one to talk, choosing to communicate in soft babbles and pointing to what he wants. sometimes he'll use sign language, but even that is on a very rare occasion.

✩ When regressed, Kinich will often take walks with his caretaker and look for Yumkasaurus to play with! It's almost as if the creatures of Natlan know that Kinich is a regressor!

✩ Suprisingly - the 'Almighty Dragonlord' K'uhul Ajaw is rather kind to a regressed Kinich. Ajaw is rather nice to him. He'll get a caregiver from nearby that is able to better care for Kinich, and in a way, Ajaw is a big brother to Kinich. He totally doesn't make an attempt to teach a nonverbal regressed Kinich swear words, no...

✩ Speaking of caregivers... his main caregivers are Mualani and Xilonen.

✩ Mualanai is a rather laid back caregiver, and she's more than happy to do whatever Kinich (and Ajaw) wants to do for the day.) If they want to go in the hotsprings? She certainly won't stop them! If Kinich wants to go on a walk? She's right behind her little one, catalyst in hand, to make sure that her little one is safe and sound during the journey!

✩ Xilonen as a caretaker is the complete opposite, however! Being a blacksmith & and name engraver for the children of echos, she's often a second resort, should Mualani be busy with work, and in turn, be unable to care for a regressed Kinich. Xilonen always tries to do her best while keeping her little one nearby - giving him fun puzzles to do, preparing him snacks and such- but kinich's favourite time with 'Auntie Xilonen' is naptime. She always knows the best tree to nap on, and Kinich always feels well rested afterwards.
