I still don't get kadian, but the numbers do add up to 18, time after time. So coincidence, i think not.

cpfs are really big brained. so the cost of the album is 279 rmb and people are wondering why. so of course we gotta do our usual addition kadian and found that it gives you 18. it was also announced that limit is 10 copies, so if you add that up that a lot of it is gonna give you 18. never mind p1 cause it’s confusing with the other numbers.

p3 tho gives a more cpf explanation by showing how to make it 18 and 23.

Last song: Xiao Zhan - Restore from his first solo album 我们 / wo men

Last book: To many fanfics 😅. Also Kaleidoscope of death one of my favourite shows this year, there is a really good English translation online. I haven’t read an actual physical book since 3 years but I ordered the manga Takara’s treasure/ Takara no vidro because I loved the series so much. I’m halfway through and it’s chef’s kiss 💋.

Last movie: I don't go to the cinema much anymore as I've been more interested in series for a few years now. The last time I went to the cinema was in January and saw Studio Ghibli's The Boy and the Heron. Very serious movie but I liked it.

The last film I streamed online was Wang Yibo's One and Only in May or June. Not my favourite movie from Wang Yibo but it was an enjoyable watch. Awesome dance scenes and good music.

Last series: Binged Highschool Frenemy in the last two days. Wasn’t on my watchlist but because of so many gif sets and metas on tumblr I decided to give it a shot. I absolutely didn't expect to like the series so much, it really surprised me.

Sweet/spicy/savory: Sweet and savoury, I also like spicy to a certain extent, but unfortunately I don't tolerate it very well.

Last search: Searched for fanfics about Wangxian on AO3.

Current obsession: Omg that’s difficult there are so many series airing right now. Looking forward the most to watch every week are Caged Again, Your Sky, See your Love and the Heart Killers. Honourably mentioned Miseinen/Our Youth it’s for now on hold i will wait for the remaining episodes and will binge them. It’s too hard for me to watch every episode and wait for the next.

Looking forward to: Zang Hai Zhuan with Xiao Zhan, also his movie Legend of the Condor Heroes and definitely Pit Babe Season 2.

It’s always such a cool thing to be reminded of stuff that brought you joy, which is why I like Spotify wrapped so much. Music is a huge part of my daily life and the artists’ whose music accompany me bring me so much joy and comfort. 

I didn’t actually expect to see BTS dethroned from their top spot but they did only release 3 (and a half) songs this year, and I discovered and dove into Seventeen’s whole discography this year. Same with Taemin and Astro. It’s been such a fun ride. Taylor Swift is like the odd one out (especially since she has no songs in my Top 100) but I have listened a lot to her 2020 albums and the re-recordings from this year.

I’ve made some charts in excel because I wanted to know more about the songs in my Top 100 below. I’ll make it a below the cut.

I was curious how many songs in my top would be from this year and to no surprise it’s quite a lot, but a fair bit of 2020 songs snuck on as well. A bit from ‘16-’18 as well and then one outlier of the Britney song from 2003. 

I had 24 different artists on my Top 100 list. Only 8 weren’t kpop artists (and technically Wang Yibo is in a kpop group I believe so his song with Xiao Zhan could be debated). 

We had whopping 21 songs from Seventeen, as well as Hoshi’s solo song. 2 songs from SHINee, one of which grabbed the no. 1 spot, and 14 songs from Taemin and 4 from Key. 16 songs from Astro and almost all of their two albums from this year made it on. Stray Kids managed to sneak in 10 songs despite coming in late to the party. “Only” 5 BTS songs, but then also 2 Agust D songs and one RM song. And then lastly, we have 3 IU songs. 

The only other artist that isn’t kpop who got more than 1 song on here is Bo Burnham courtesy of his brilliant show Inside which I watched twice and then promptly added and binged all the songs. 9 of them made it into this list. 

This year, I really started diving more into kpop, and also adding more groups that I followed more closely and it’s been such a fun and wild ride. There’s so much wonderful music out there and I have loved discovering it a lot of it this year.
