Movie Review #128

Title: Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958)

Main Actors: Elizabeth Taylor, Paul Newman

Favorite Character: Maggie

Least Favorite Character: MAE oh my gosh I hate her so much. I mean she’s supposed to be annoying, but my goodness is she annoying.

Character that I relate most with: Maggie. I relate to her desperate-ness...

Why I chose to watch the movie: I adore Elizabeth Taylor and found out that this is on xfinitytv, so I could finally watch it! I have been looking for a long time.

Rating 1-10: 9

New movie or Re-watch: Re-watch, but its been probably 5 years. 

Who I would recommend watch this movie: Older teens and Adults. There isn’t really anything inappropriate, it just would bore kids I think. 

Final Thoughts: I love this movie so much. I could watch Elizabeth Taylor every day. The writing is incredible, which is to be expected from a Tennesee Williams play. I think the main reason I love this movie so much is that it is so dialogue heavy. I relish in all of the dialogue. The plot is very simple, but the characters are really where this story shines. If that’s not your cup of tea, I would skip this one. 

 I also really like that some of it is left up to interpretation, like Brick’s sexuality for example. I love anything I can really question and sink my teeth into.

I am so fucking mad that every attempt to get xfinitytv to work on my television through game consoles has failed. And it's not because it's impossible!!! I tried both on my Wii and X-Box 360 and both gave me shitty ass excuses to why it wasn't working. On the Wii I logged into my xfinity account just fine but when I went to the TV page to choose a show, the console decided I wasn't logged in anymore (ONLY ON THE TV PAGE HOW FUCKING CONVENIENT). Then on my X-Box I downloaded the xfinity app just fine, went to log into my account, then it tells me fucking error, I need 'xfinity TV' to access xfinity itself. That makes no damn sense they are literally all fucking me sideways I just want to watch Game of Thrones with all my friends goddamnit.

2 hours from Phoenix

So I am 2 hours from landing in Phoenix and looking over my itinerary for tomorrow, boy am I a lucky girl. Not only do I get to follow around some huge names in broadcasting, but I may get to interview a player or 2, as well. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity and I plan to take full advantage of it. I can't wait to land and start uploading photos for everyone to see.
