 He hears her footsteps before she makes it to the door. One of the never-ending bonuses of cybernetics is the way GRID catalogs breathing and stride patterns. Most logs get recycled--but the important people are saved to the recesses of his mind. Forgotten until his system registers the identifiers again. Victor smiles to himself as the front door clicks open. She used her passcode, then. Good. She’s welcomed in his home and he hates when she knocks. 

 Vic turns to face her, holding a plate of chili fries. “ Perfect timing, food just got here.” Passing the appetizer to her, he returns to moving the takeout to serving plates. “ So I uh--I thought we could...They used to get together sometimes. Whoever hosted would cook but mom was a wiz everywhere but the kitchen. She musta been embarrassed cause instead of sayin’ anything she’d buy stuff and put it on a plate. Told me she’d take the trash out and everything so your ma wouldn’t know. ” He laughs despite the tightness in his throat and chest. Elinore told more stories the sicker she got. Turning again, this time with burgers and onion rings. 

“ But I bet Miss Hailey had an inklin’, cause the kitchen was always spotless. ” It’s nice, being able to talk about her like this. Even if it hurts in a way he can’t quite describe. Distant but ever-present. There’s comfort knowing she has it too. “ So...Let’s keep the  tradition alive, huh? ”

“that sounds both vaguely threatening and also extremely flattering.” he plays it safe by leaning into the comment, making light of what could be a very good or a very bad thing. but one thing is for certain: he hasn’t the faintest idea who she is.  “i’m glad my reputation precedes me. hopefully you know all good things.”

          HE DIDN’T KNOW WHAT MYSTERIO WAS DOING IN DETROIT but he certainly didn’t care. he got the tip from fury and didn’t really lost any time in having a little road trip, not really wanting to RISK the man regaining control in a city that didn’t know him. and, apparently, he had left new york just in the right time because when he got there, mysterio was already trying to take CREDIT for solving the same things he caused, as per usual, peter being annoyed to see his face in the news.

          what had surprised him was that someone else had already caught on his schtick. he swung around to get close enough to the girl.     ❝     THANKS but i got this from here!!     ❞    he yelled, not wanting for her to get hurt, trying to find out where exactly all the smoke and mirrors came from so he could take them down.

who steals french fries off the other’s plate: kori, sorry tori >:c

who jokingly moves in for the kiss when someone asks if they’re a couple: tori, all the times and kori follows because it’s funny.

who has to bust or bail the other out of jail: kori, every time an unjnown nunber appears on her phone she just begs tori isn’t in trouble.

who gives the other advice/comfort about dating issues: i think kori to tori, and she loved doing it because that scary girl ith swords looks so cute asking for that.

who shamelessly cheats at games by reaching over to cover the other’s eyes: kori.

who immediately calls dibs on the top bunk: kori, and she had to eplain the joke to tori (just as jason explained to her),

who starts and who wins the pillow fights: kori starts and tori wins because she knows how ticklish the princess is.

who says “your pants would look better on their floor” to the other’s potential crush: tori, always.

xandrialost this kind of radiates himbo supremacy and we kind of stan that.

in a world were kids get attacked and mauled by bears, secret bloodlines and murderers at every corner, the most unrealistic thing riverdale wants me to believe is that archie would be graduating after being in jail, missing at least half a year, grieving his dad.

absent and shitty parenting. 

as someone who has thought long and hard about what having a family could be like, he wastes no time in rationalizing abusive parenting. its something he finds abhorrent and in part its why his own relationship with his father hurts even more. its why he feels no remorse for killing gothel. he has such strong opinions and feelings on parenting. someone willingly harming their child emotionally or physically is the most abhorrent thing.

'how your muse responds to being helped/taken care of’

he’s got an ego about him, often insisting on taking care of things himself. in some regard, though, it is highly dependent. when its something pleasant, he’s more than happy being pampered or to have a load taken off his back. but, test his fragile ego and he’ll defiantly insist on doing everything himself. things such as injuries and more personal, intimate issues, he feel uncomfortably having people flock to his side. so, its highly dependent.

'did your muse grow up too fast?'

eugene’s childhood was a peculiar, having been an orphan from start to finish. there were certain needs of childhood that he didn’t have, and thus struggled with into adulthood. from a young age he learned to put his worth into his ability to charm, and his appearances and nothing else supposedly mattered. that sort of self-awareness came too young, wrecking his self esteem early on. with emotional and physical needs unmet, he relied on himself early on to make sure he was fed, going as far as leaving the orphanage and running off early and struggling on his own-- effectively entering ‘full independence’ as a preteen. he definitely had an atypical childhood.
