The girl had been running around town looking for one of her dads. Tears painted her face as she ran around, looking for one of them. Weight was on her shoulders and she wanted to talk with someone she could trust. Lexi spotted the police station across the street and hoped that Dug was there and off duty. “Hey, I’m Lexi LeMutt, looking for my dad. Is he in here?” she asked the person at the front desk.
