We liked the way it assembles. It is too easy to assemble and dismantle. It is much easier and faster to assemble Lupit pole than X-pole or the other professional quality poles.

There is always a rivalry between the Lupit and X-poles. If we compare both poles only, it is almost similar in quality. The diameter of the is 45 mm. However, there is a smaller variant of 42 mm for users with smaller hands. The adjustable height has a range of 6’ 8” to 9’ 2”. If you want more height, a 400 mm extension is available. Adding the extension gives you a maximum height of 10’5”. The pole is available in both steel and chrome plated version. We recommend you to go with steel.

The functioning of the pole is smooth. We checked the main part that allows it to spin smoothly—ball bearing. It uses quadruple ball bearing spinning system. Our dancer loved the way it spins. MegaBrand is not particularly a pole manufacturer. It is known to offer a wide variety of products. The good thing about the megabrand Pole is that it is much less expensive compared to poles of specialized manufacturers like X-pole. However, this doesn’t mean it is the best pole for home use on our list. Since it is a low cost, it sells well.

Frankly speaking, when we compared the quality of the pole by X-pole and MegaBrand, the X-pole is way much better but. Not everyone is looking for a premium quality product. Quality can be compared to the biggest brand like X-pole. And inside the package, you get everything required for the installation of the pole.

When we were testing the pole, our volunteer did tell us about the issue with a ball bearing that allows the pole to spin. It wasn’t as smooth as you get with X-pole. She said it would work fine as long as it is new after that you might need to replace the bearing or get a new pole altogether. However, the pole itself is made of high-quality metal and looks durable.

The installation hardly took us any time. Since the pole comes with the adjustable height, you can adjust it for celling with height up to 9’. However, we think the average user might require an assistant. There is installation video disc is included but won’t make it easy if you have no experience installing the pole. Most of the poles that we have mentioned in the list have height clearance between 7’2” to 9”. But what if you require a pole with much lower height clearance? The Amazdeal pole has the minimum height clearance of 4’2” and a maximum of 8’8”. This is well suited if kids want to take up the pole dancing.

Lower height clearance doesn’t mean it is not suitable for others. It works fine with others too. The installation is fairly straight forward, but it would require some experience with screws and bolts. If any of the joint is loose, the stability will be compromised for the pole. One thing we do not like about this pole is the build quality. It does have chrome finishing, but the metal itself is thin. So if you want to do some tricks on the spinning pole, it might bend a little.

However, it does take some time to assemble it. The discs that hold the poles do not use a rubber. Hence it may scrap your floor or the ceiling.

The pole itself is of high quality. It is made out of steel and has chrome plating. Also, the pole is sturdy and can take a maximum load of 220 lbs. The diameter of the pole is 45 mm which is standard for any pole. The only thing that worried us is the ball bearing. It doesn’t seem to be of the same standard as you get with the premium poles. After a few months of use, it might start to lose its smoothness.

When we were researching for the best pole for home use, we found that at present there are several cheap options of poles out there. Many users may be tempted to go for the poles. But as you learn the art of pole dancing, you will realize how important it is to have a high-quality pole. Our volunteer who has years of experience in this art, she tells us if you do not understand how the pole works, you cannot learn to use it. So with the buyer’s guide, we will provide you the necessary information to learn more about the dance pole.

1. Diameter or Width

We found that the classic size for any pole is 45 mm. Poles with 45 mm diameter work with most of the users. However, there are two more variants 50 mm and 42 mm. The 50 mm are mostly used by a men pole dancer. They provide much better stability and surface area of all kinds of advanced tricks.

However, most of the pole dancer are women, and they prefer 45 mm poles. And sometimes if they have smaller hands, women may go for 42 mm poles. 2. Load Capacity

Each dance pole has its limit depending on the construction of the pole. Generally, the average weight of the person using the pole is between 150 lbs to 250 lbs. However, one more thing you have to look at and that is load capacity does not take angular momentum in the account.

The Georgia Pole Fitness Classic (GPFC) is a regional pole fitness and physique competition hosted by Atlanta’s #1 alternative fitness studio, Vertical Joe’s, and a part of the Pole Championship Series as seen on ABC Nightline. Featuring the best Pole Athletes in the nation and is sponsored by X-Pole, The World’s Leader in Pole Fitness.

The Pole Championship Series (PCS) is a professional pole fitness league comprised of premier pole competitions throughout the world. The PCS governs and selects the most recognized and respected pole athletes from around the globe. PCS Competition cities include Hong Kong, Mexico City South Africa and Brazil. The professional champion of each competition advances to the annual PCS Championship at the Arnold Sports Festival.
